My husband and I were fortunate enough to host our wedding reception at Meadowlark this fall. A little older than the average newlyweds, and with extremely busy careers, we made the absolute best choice and have zero regrets. As wine lovers who live in NY, we thought a winery on Long Island would be close enough to home and most inclusive of our close friends and family. I knew I didn't want to host a reception at a stuffy catering hall that churns out cookie cutter weddings like a factory. Meadowlark is unique in every way-- gorgeous and classy, and there's even a wine cellar for the after party. Literally every corner of the property is perfect for wedding photos. We visited on July 4th and had the best time and were immediately sold. No other winery on LI comes close. Take my word for it, because I've visited them all. Location and aesthetics aside, Jennifer was outstanding in every way. We didn't hire a planner or day of coordinator and she filled both roles seamlessly. Over the past six or so months, Jennifer got to know us personally and brought all of my random Pinterest posts to life while sparing me the need to make a ton of minute decisions. From the serpentine table layout, linens, catering choices and coordination of vendors, she was meticulous and it showed. The trust my husband and I have for her was invaluable to us, especially considering our busy lives. Jennifer's vendor recommendations were also spot on. No exaggeration, every vendor who's worked with Meadowlark raved about Jennifer as if they'd known her their whole lives. The day of was perfect. Nothing was overlooked or felt stressful; we fully trusted Jennifer's coordination and management of everything and she really delivered. While Meadowlark is a stunning property and I'd chose it over and over again if I could, Jennifer is truly what makes it an exceptional wedding venue. 10000/10, no notes!

The staff (Courtney, Linda, Shari, & Dawn) at this venue were exceptional in every way possible! They were very responsive and on top of all the plans for my wedding. They accommodated all my needs and requests and were nothing but flexible and adaptable. They were such a pleasure to work with and very warm and welcoming! The wedding ballroom was beautiful and the service of the staff the night of my wedding was excwptional. The only unfortunate thing was the food the night of the wedding. It wasn't as great as my husband, myself, and guests would hoped it would be. The salon and chicken were dry and over cooked and the beef was undercooked. All in all, I would recommend the DoubleTree based on the quality level of professionalism, customer service, and flexibility. It was nothing but exceptional and it is difficult to find now a days!

Our wedding at Albany Country Club was absolutely perfect! From start to finish, Jill and Erica went above and beyond to make sure every detail was taken care of. They were incredibly organized, kind, and accommodating, anticipating our needs before we even thought of them. The entire planning process was smooth and stress-free, and on the day itself, everything ran seamlessly. The staff made us feel completely supported, and it truly felt like their top priority was ensuring our day went off without a hitch. The food and drinks were phenomenal, our guests are still talking about how delicious everything was! We couldn’t have asked for a better team or a more beautiful venue. Jill, Erica, and the entire staff made our wedding unforgettable, and we are endlessly grateful. Highly recommend to any couple looking for a venue that truly cares about making your day magical.

Yes, my wedding isn't until July of 2027. When I first walked in and met Lauren she was full of so much love and compassion not only towards myself or the rest of my bridal party, but most of all I seen how much she admires what she does and has so much passion for the venue. She showed us around and told us the history of the place which brought so much more joy to making me choose this venue. It's not only a place for me to get married it's a place to share our special day with others as well and keep having it grow to even a more beautiful place every year. I'm so thankful for getting to have my special day here. Most of all I couldn't of asked for the most amazing individual Lauren to help me along the way. Not only are you my wedding coordinator but you've became my best friend. Thank you for helping me even though it's a year away, you are making me feel at ease knowing my special day will be filled with so much love, laughter and beauty that I will for always cherish and I can not wait to share this day with you as well. Choosing the Beekman Arms as our wedding venue for our September 9, 2023 celebration was one of the best decisions we ever made. From the moment we stepped into this historic gem, we were transported to a world of charm and elegance that perfectly complemented our special day. The venue's rich and varied history, including its ties to George Washington, Alexander Hamilton, and President Franklin Delano Roosevelt, added an extra layer of significance to our wedding. It was an honor to join the ranks of those who have celebrated life's moments within these walls. Stephanie, the Beekman Arms' wedding coordinator, deserves a standing ovation. Her dedication and expertise made the entire journey a seamless and joyful experience. Prior to choosing the Beekman Arms as our venue, we met with and corresponded with Stephanie for five months, her patience and professionalism is unparalleled. Over an additional five months leading up to our wedding, Stephanie went above and beyond to guide us through every aspect of planning. Her recommendations for our photographer/videographer, pastry vendor, and Pastor were spot-on, making our day truly exceptional. Stephanie's meticulous attention to detail ensured that no stone was left unturned. Stephanie, despite being so busy, is very generous with her time - always accommodating a call, in-person meeting, or Zoom catch-up. She sent me helpful reminders on tasks to complete, placed orders I missed, verified the orders I placed (some needed correcting like the wedding cake!), suggested a timeline well in advance of our wedding day and kept us on time the day of! She effortlessly handled last-minute challenges, from boutonnières to floral arrangements, and even a missing Photo Booth camera charger! Stephanie is a treasure, and her years of experience in the industry shine through in her competence and grace. We cannot over emphasize how wonderful Stephanie is, she is such an amazing person and an absolute pleasure to work with. The outdoor ceremony in the charming courtyard, framed by the wisteria-covered trellis, was nothing short of enchanting. The cocktail hour in the atrium set the tone for a night of celebration, and the reception in the main hall was beautifully executed. The intimate setting was perfect for our 60 guests, and the Beekman Arms staff truly went above and beyond to make our day special. And let's not forget the food! The chef at the Beekman Arms is nothing short of phenomenal. From mouthwatering hors d'oeuvres to the delectable main entrees and the unforgettable crème brûlée, our guests raved about the culinary delights. In sum, our wedding at the Beekman Arms was a dream come true. It was a day filled with love, joy, and unforgettable memories, all thanks to the Beekman Arms' historic charm, exceptional staff, and the fabulous Stephanie. We couldn't have asked for a more perfect venue or coordinator. Thank you for making our day absolutely magical!

There is nothing more important than choosing the right venue and food for your wedding day. Hollowbrook provides the best of both worlds with not just a top tier venue with gorgeous views, elegant architecture and AMAZING spots to take photos; but they provide you with the BEST wedding spread you could ever imagine. Beginning at cocktail hour all the way to dessert, there is not a single detail that is missed or a guest left unserved. Our guests could not stop raving about the quantity and quality of food (12 delicious appetizers, stations and harvest table and they were FULL). What really spoke to us the most post wedding was how efficient the workers are on the wedding day and how much they truly care that the day goes spectacularly for the couple. We were never without a drink in our hand or food on our plates. They ENSURED the day went seamless from beginning to end and that we followed the format for the day so we could enjoy ourselves. I could not recommend this venue more and we are truly blown away that we picked the BEST place to get married. Hollowbrook will forever hold the best memories we share and we could not have experienced the joy without the support from this team. We owe it all to each and every single one of you. Where to start? There is something to be said for an all inclusive venue. There were several menu options depending if you wanted a sit down service, buffet, or stations and then each of those options came with different selections for main course, side dishes, pastas, salads, etc. The appetizers were delectable and were both stationary and passed with the staff doing a wonderful job circulating so all our guests had the opportunity to partake. The food was delicious and plentiful and everyone was able to find plenty to eat. There was an open bar included in the price and we had a signature cocktail that was excellently prepared with their own flourish that had rave reviews and was expertly prepared by the perfect number of bartenders. We were in the smaller dining room which felt like the perfect size for the number of guests we had without feeling stuffy or crowded. The grounds are gorgeous and we liked we had the opportunity to have the ceremony and reception all in one location. We also loved that they have options for both indoor and outdoor ceremonies and the opportunity to go out onto the course for photos with a complimentary golf cart and driver. There is a gorgeous bridal suite to get ready and the grooms suite is on the bottom floor to make sure we don't accidentally run into each other ahead of time. There were snacks and drinks to munch on and enjoy while getting ready and it created such a relaxing atmosphere. All this is included in a single price per person and comes with a wedding coordinator, Rochelle. She was absolutely fantastic, knowledgeable, accommodating, and a wonderful problem solver whenever needed. We were able to drop off our decorations and center pieces ahead of time for her and her team to set up so on the day of the wedding we were able to relax and prepare without having to worry about all the little details. She took care of everything and was a wonderful asset to have on our team. She hired a fabulous team to work with including Ryan who was always on hand to help with anything we desired and the wait staff was friendly and knew what they were doing. We had the perfect day thanks largely to Rochelle and her team and the guests couldn't stop raving about how fabulous everything was.

We got so lucky finding this venue for our wedding in June 2024. The coordinator was amazing from start to finish. Our guests raved about the food we had at cocktail hour and the reception. Staff set up our decorations exactly how I envisioned for the ceremony and reception so it so I had one less thing to worry about. The price is perfect for anyone who wants a beautiful wedding without breaking the bank to make it happen.

Cornucopia Yachts made it possible for us to plan our wedding within a few weeks. Decorations/ DJ / Dinner menu and Cake. Everything was taken care of all we had to do was choose what we wanted for the evening. Skyline views throughout the evening were Stunning. Our guests enjoyed the cruise so much! Steven, Deisy, Ernesto, The Chef and the whole team were wonderful! I am looking forward to booking our next event with them!

I recently had my wedding ceremony and reception here at The Powelton Club. As a bride working with no wedding planner, Rebecca and her team made it so easy and seamless. She anticipated alot of my questions and needs which helped exponentially in navigating the wedding planning process. The day of, a bride can be very stressed but they ensured there was not one ounce of reason to stress, which helped me be in the moment and enjoy the day! The venue is BEAUTIFUL, the food was outstanding and the staff and service was impeccable. 2 weeks later and I am still receiving compliments from my guest on our venue choice. My husband and I are trying to find more reasons to host a party so that we can use The Powelton Club again that is how much we and our guests love this venue! I wish I could give it more then 5 stars!
