It is hard to put into words how happy we are that we chose Hiland Park Country Club for our big day, but we will try! From the moment we set foot on the property for our first tour, we felt that there was something special about the place. Dan was absolutely fantastic at giving us a sense of how our day would go and made the booking/early planning process seamless. Rachael was our main point of contact through the mid-final planning process and was always there to happily answer any questions I had. It truly felt like they were on our team and had our backs, from the first tour, all the way until the very end of our wedding night. I should add that we came from 2.5 hours away to have our wedding at Hiland Park

We had our rehearsal on site which was really helpful to get a picture of how the day will look. We chose to book the bridal suite for the full day access—I cannot recommend this enough! The space is beautiful, stocked with beverages, and made it so much less stressful to have everyone getting their hair and makeup done on site. Plus, lunch was provided which was simply amazing! Throughout the night before and getting ready process, our attendant Caisha was simply an angel. Anything we needed, she had it and provided help with a kind and caring smile.

The space speaks for itself which made it incredibly easy to plan (or not plan) decor and florals. I especially appreciated how there were such elegant touches along with the rustic feeling of the cocktail space. My family and wedding party couldn’t believe how large the venue was! This was amazing because it definitely separated cocktail hour from the reception. Our guests RAVED about the cocktail hour food & appreciated the champagne greeting. My mom said she had never been to a wedding where you get both a chicken AND steak entree. It’s hard to believe how much was included for such a great price. We simply could not have chosen a better place to have our wedding and will always hold Hiland Park very near and dear to our hearts. If you’re on the fence about booking, this is your sign! Hiland Park Country Club was the perfect venue for our October wedding, and we couldn't be happier with our decision to celebrate our day there. From the moment we met with Dan and Rachael, they were attentive, professional, and informative, answering every question we could think of and guiding us through the process step by step. After our initial meeting and tour with Dan, my husband and I left completely blown away and in full agreement that Hiland Park was everything we had envisioned for our wedding day.

One of the toughest decisions we faced was choosing the menu—everything they offer is simply incredible! From cocktail hour to dinner to the wall-to-wall dessert display, the food was a major highlight for us and our guests. Months later, one of the first things people still rave about is how amazing the food was! If we could have chosen the entire menu, we would have.

Hiland Park’s team worked seamlessly with all of our vendors, ensuring everything came together perfectly on the day. They also went above and beyond to check in on me, my husband, our wedding party, our parents, and even our guests throughout the event, making sure every detail was taken care of and everyone felt perfectly attended to. This level of attention made us feel so supported and valued, and it added a personal touch that we’ll never forget.

As a wedding photographer, I’ve had the opportunity to work at Hiland Park many times before as part of other couples' big days. This familiarity gave me so much peace of mind as a bride, knowing how well-organized and professional their team is. I already knew how seamlessly their weddings flow, and that left me feeling nothing but excitement leading up to my own.

Of course, wedding days rarely go exactly as planned, and ours was no exception. Just two hours before our ceremony, my father-in-law was rushed to the hospital. My husband and I were devastated and unsure how to move forward, but Dan and the team were absolutely incredible. Dan and Taylor, our wedding coordinator, came to us in the bridal suite with a suggestion to swap the cocktail hour and ceremony to give my father-in-law more time to return. Within 10 minutes, their kitchen team had cocktail hour ready to go, and we decided to move forward with the change.

Although the adjustment was unplanned, our guests loved the unique flow of the day. It gave everyone time to mingle, eat, and drink before the ceremony, and it also allowed my husband and me to greet guests early, leaving us more time to dance and enjoy the reception later. While my father-in-law wasn’t able to make it back in time for the ceremony, he arrived just before the parents were introduced at the reception, which was such a relief and joy for all of us.

The professionalism, empathy, and quick thinking shown by Dan, Rachael, and the entire Hiland Park staff during such a stressful moment were beyond anything we could have hoped for. Their ability to adapt and ensure our day remained special was truly remarkable.

On top of that, the venue itself is stunning. Our wedding photos feature breathtaking backdrops, including their beautiful grounds and vintage Rolls-Royce, which added such a fun and elegant touch. Every detail was handled with care, ensuring that our day was everything we dreamed it would be.

As both a bride and a photographer who has worked many weddings at Hiland Park, I can’t recommend them highly enough. Their attention to detail, incredible food, gorgeous setting, and unwavering professionalism made our wedding day unforgettable. We just had our December wedding at Hiland and cannot recommend it enough. Dan and Rachael are an incredible team, the food was delicious and bountiful- our guests RAVED about it. Dan and Rachael were incredibly helpful, patient and responsive. We were engaged for a year and a half and they answered all my questions from May 2023 through to our wedding day. The Venue its self is stunning, offers tons of options and charm. The perfect slate for anyone’s personal touches! We also truly felt like it was an incredible value! Their staff is also amazing, attentive and professional. Cannot say enough good things.
