The Lounsbury House was the perfect location for our wedding. We had 90 guests and September and cannot say enough about this beautiful venue! From the bridal party suites, to the gardens, to the reception hall and dance floor this house is just stunning. If you're looking to have your ceremony onsite they have a beautiful private garden area for that too! We ended up deciding on a religious ceremony and there were tons of churches close by to chose from. The town of Ridgefield is just adorable as well and makes for the perfect wedding weekend. Beyond the beautiful facilities, Maggie was so kind and easy to work with. We had a ton of little things we wanted to do (petal toss, streamers, etc) and Maggie was so accommodating. She truly made sure we had our dream day. If you are looking for a stunning and intimate wedding look no further!

My wife and I had the absolute privilege of celebrating our wedding at The Amber Room Colonnade this past summer, and I can honestly say it was the best decision we could have made. From the very first day we booked—almost two years before our wedding date—right through the wedding day itself (and even afterward), the Amber Room team was there for us every single step of the way. The communication and professionalism from Melissa, Ashley, Doug, and the entire staff were nothing short of exceptional. Every question we had was answered promptly, every concern was handled with care, and their guidance gave us the confidence to truly enjoy our engagement and wedding planning process. Planning a wedding can be overwhelming, but with the Amber Room behind us, it never felt that way. What stood out most was how much they genuinely cared about us as a couple. They worked with us tirelessly to make sure everything was taken care of, down to the smallest details, so that on the day of the wedding we could simply be present and enjoy ourselves. And we truly did — everything flowed seamlessly, the service was impeccable, and we felt completely taken care of from start to finish. Our guests raved about the venue, the atmosphere, and the staff, but to us, it was the peace of mind and confidence they gave us that mattered most. We held our wedding at Tarrytown House in early November this year, and had a wonderful experience from start to finish. Sales Manager Jenna Kresback worked with us having just joined TTHE, but was extremely knowledgable, responsive, and helpful during all aspects of the planning, answering all my specific questions during the planning process and helping us make the best decisions for our needs. Our wedding was in the Biddle Mansion, with the ceremony on the West Terrace, cocktail hour in the library and music rooms, and reception in the Winter Palace. On the day of the wedding, she and the venue staff worked seamlessly with my day-of-coordinator to make everything run smoothly. The venue itself is picturesque beautiful and made for a perfect backdrop for all photos and events. All ours guests commented that the food was delicious and we loved being able to do the espresso martini as our specialty cocktail. We also did a room-block at the hotel, and the TTHE staff was very communicative and helpful as we worked out details of our guest's stay, which was necessary as the room-block system was a little clunky without help. Overall we had a magical and perfect wedding day at Tarrytown House and would recommend the venue to anyone!!

We couldn't imagine a better place to get married. As soon as we toured, it we knew it would be perfect for a quintessential New York City wedding atmosphere. Meaghan and the Harold Pratt House team were incredibly helpful and accommodating in crafting and facilitating the perfect wedding!

Our reception at The Mansion at Oyster Bay in January of 2026 was everything we hoped it would be and more. My husband and I have attended over 25 weddings together all over the country, so we knew what mattered to us the most when planning our wedding. We wanted a timeless and elegant space that would comfortably accommodate 200+ guests while leaving enough room for a ten-piece band and a buzzing dance floor. We also wanted to work with vendors who would make the day easy for us and our families so that we could enjoy every special moment. The team at MOB delivered on this and more. Jennifer was supportive and helpful in the touring, booking, and planning process, but Mike blew us away on the day of the wedding. He was everywhere all at once, accommodating our last minute timeline adjustments, tending to the bridal party, and even shoveling a path for us in the snow (in his tux!) so we could get some photos outside at dusk. He made sure every personal item was placed exactly where we requested, and transformed our cocktail hour space into an after-party disco just as we envisioned. Our guests could not stop raving about the food and beverage service and the character of each space we were able to use; the speakeasy bar, in particular, was a huge hit for photo ops and overall moody cocktail hour vibes. The venue looked truly spectacular with the warm glow from the fireplaces and candles in every room. We absolutely loved the Mansion for our winter wedding and wish we could relive the night over and over again! - Stephanie & John

Our wedding at Mountainville Manor this past June was everything we hoped it would be. My husband and I couldn't be happier with how the day turned out, and our guests have been raving about it ever since. We held our ceremony under the clear tent outside, and the setting was absolutely stunning. The property made for gorgeous wedding photos, and it was so beautiful that one of our guests spent part of the evening taking pictures of the grounds just because they were so impressed. Lauren and James were wonderful to work with throughout the entire planning process. They were always communicative, accommodating, and genuinely invested in making our day special. Lauren, in particular, works incredibly hard to ensure her couples have a stress-free experience, and it showed. Everything ran seamlessly from start to finish. She even helped coordinate a last-minute addition to our guest list that we didn't think would be possible. The staff at Mountainville Manor also deserves special recognition. Every member of the team was attentive, kind, and genuinely caring. Multiple guests commented on how friendly and professional everyone was, which speaks volumes about the people who work there. And, of course, the food lived up to its incredible reputation. Craig and his team were outstanding. The staff thoughtfully prepared a platter so we could enjoy every one of the passed hors d'oeuvres. Every appetizer received compliments, with the mini Beef Wellington being a particular favorite among our guests. We also added the late-night snack and the s'mores station, both of which were huge hits. We even had professional chefs attending our wedding, and they were genuinely impressed by the quality of the food. If you're considering Mountainville Manor for your wedding, we can't recommend it highly enough. The beautiful venue, exceptional staff, seamless planning experience, and outstanding food made it the perfect place to celebrate one of the best days of our lives.

From the second we walked through the door, me and my husband knew that “this was it”. We had toured 6-7 venues before we saw Samuel’s and once we walked in, we never looked back. The Venue was so easy to work with! They were willing to try and accommodate everything, there was no question or idea that was off limits. Other Venues had answered our ideas with way too many “no’s”/“no you can’t do that”/“no we can’t do that”. Samuels was always willing to work with us to make our dream wedding come true. The staff we worked with was also awesome. Mark- has a passion for making your wedding day great and he KNOWS how to host a good party, he’s been doing it for a very long time. The food was amazing!!! We were a little worried since they didn’t do a food tasting but they told us they knew what they were doing and their food was good. Yes, they do know what they’re doing and yes, the food for 235 people was phenomenal. The pricing was very straight forward, they don’t “nickel and dime” you. Even their cheapest packages have all the things that you would pay extra for at other venues. It also made things much easier that they supply food and bar, so that’s not an extra stress to coordinate for your wedding day. I loved it so much, I hope to one day attend somebody else’s wedding at Samuel’s so that I can “live it again”. We have no regrets at all!

Villa Borghese was a great choice for my wedding. Nicole made the planning process actually enjoyable! She was very professional and efficient. She asked us exactly what she needed to know and executed the wedding perfectly. She created a magical night for us. Our ceremony was beautiful and tasteful. Nicole was very detail oriented and made sure we all went out in order with perfect timing. After the ceremony, there were hor’ devours (delicious) and our signature drinks in the bridal suite so my HUSBAND!! and I could get some reprieve before heading to the cocktail hour. The reception went off without a hitch and the food was phenomenal. We had salad, gelato as a palate cleanser, dinner (chateaubriand, salmon, chicken,or veg lasagna), and, of course, wedding cake and cookies. We got rave reviews of the cuisine from some extremely picky people. Such a fun night all around.

Such a beautiful venue, the staff was AMAZING!! For anyone looking for the best wedding venue on Long Island.. in NEW YORK, look no further! the staff and the castle made this the most perfect setting for marrying the man of my dreams!
