My wife and I had the absolute privilege of celebrating our wedding at The Amber Room Colonnade this past summer, and I can honestly say it was the best decision we could have made. From the very first day we booked—almost two years before our wedding date—right through the wedding day itself (and even afterward), the Amber Room team was there for us every single step of the way.

The communication and professionalism from Melissa, Ashley, Doug, and the entire staff were nothing short of exceptional. Me and my husband had our wedding at The Amber Room on June 20, 2025, and it was truly everything we hoped for and more! When we first visit there, I knew automatically this is where we wanted to get married! From the moment we began planning, the entire team made the process seamless, stress-free, and genuinely enjoyable.
A very special thank you to Katie, our incredible catering sales director! Her organization, communication, and attention to detail were unmatched. She made us feel absolutely amazing through every step. Gina, the banquet manager, ensured that our reception ran smoothly and effortlessly, and Patty, our bridal attendant, was an absolute angel on the big day. Her calm presence and attentiveness made all the difference.
The venue itself is absolutely stunning—beautifully maintained grounds, elegant interiors, and a layout that flowed perfectly for our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception. Our guests are still raving about the fantastic food and outstanding bar service, which truly exceeded expectations.

Fabulous venue for a bat mitzvah or anything. The Amber room staff were fantastic. Very accommodating to our request of being able to have our daughter do whatever she really wanted for her bar mitzvah. It was a delight to turn the venue into a sporty chic room. The food was delicious and ever flowing highly recommend for anything. The amber room was fantastic.

The part about the Amber Room that made our wedding so successful was the flexibility.

When we asked if we could run our rehearsal a week early on a weekend instead of the standard day or two before in order to not have to take extra time off of work, they were able to work with us on that. The week leading up to our event, the weather was looking against us and after walking us through the different scenarios and set ups for weather, they gave us until 3 days before to finalize our plans for the ceremony and cocktail hour after giving the weather prediction a chance to be more accurate.

Melissa was always very responsive and communicated well both over the phone and email leading up to our event. For the day of, Gina was very on top of the timeline for everything that was to take place. But she was also flexible about the start time for our ceremony when 2/3rds of the guests showed up late.

Patty was the sweetest and most down to earth bridal attendant I could ask for. I would not have survived the transition from the chaotically late ceremony to the reception without her support during cocktail hour in the bridal suite. She was also very on top of making sure we had what we needed as we got ready to wrap up the night.

A lot of guests came up to express how beautiful the venue was and that they thought the food was amazing. We are so glad we picked the Amber Room for hosting our big day.

I cannot say enough about the Amber Room! All of the staff are incredibly professional and welcoming. Katie helped us plan out our day and made sure we had everything we wanted and more. Katie made the planning process stress free and for that, we cannot thank her enough! Our wedding was absolutely perfect and that would not have been possible without all of the amazing staff, especially Ashley, our banquet manager. The food was amazing, the drinks were great and all of our guests had an amazing time. The grounds of the Amber Room were also absolutely perfect for our late October Wedding and made for gorgeous pictures. I highly recommend the Amber Room Colonnade if you are looking for a wonderful venue where the staff make you feel like family!

The Amber Room was without a doubt the best and only place I could've imagined to host my wedding. As a highly anxious bride; Doug, Katie, Melissa, Ashley and Gina each did their part in making sure every last detail was taken care of for the entire planning process up until my husband and I said "I DO". After that Patty, Missy, Joanie and the entire staff handled the rest. I felt so at ease and was truly able to enjoy the wedding of my dreams with my husband. The food was incredible, the service was outstanding, and the atmosphere was remarkable. We still have guests commenting on the abundance and quality of food throughout the entire event from cocktail hour, to dinner, ending with our ice-cream bar and French fry station and so much more in-between. Even our vendors were impressed. We hope to grow our family and continue our relationship with The Amber Room for more events in the future. We cant thank everyone there enough for making our wedding day everything and more!

Ourselves and our guests were in awe with the Amber Room Colonnade the day of the wedding!
Cocktail hour was in the West Court and was filled with an abundance of buffet style food and beautifully decorated as our hired live band filled the air with its musical ambiance. As you entered into the hallway connecting to the Bridal Suite and Ballroom. The staff beautifully set up our Welcome/Seating sign along with our LED Marquee Letters and Guest Book. Entering the West Ballroom, for Sandy & I it was truly what we envisioned and more. The table & lighting arrangements, their collaboration with our florist and DJ was a beautiful and magical sight, that filled Sandy's and my heart with joy. Our guests, after the reception ended, happily shared with us their wonderful experience from the visuals, to how DELICIOUS the food was (Salmon & Steak Entrees) and Carrot Cake, including the drinks! Sandy (Pastry Chef) & I our both foodies and let me tell you they exceeded our expectations! The Amber Room also gave our guests take-away containers for those that got full and couldn't finish their entrees! awesome little detail! Again Thank you EVERYONE !! :)

While venue scouting, the Amber Room, I told my then fiance as we walked to our car after our meeting "Baby I feel this is it." She replied "Me too."
Doug P. (GM) warm heartedly greeted us. He was genuine, very open and clear of the financials + planning process. He showed us the grounds, the ballroom layout, the cocktail space, the bridal suite. There was this unexplainable magical feeling and we just knew the Amber Room was our place to celebrate our wedding.
Doug helped us pick a package and was flexible in customizing it. He was caring and attentive to answer any questions and concerns that we had from start to finish. We felt so very welcomed at the Amber Room and as our interactions continued the times when we would meet with Doug we gave each other good bye hugs. Thank You Doug for making our wedding planning seamless and our Wedding Night Magical as well for being present the day of !

We met with Gina (Banquet Manager) a little over a week before our wedding with Doug and he caught her up to speed with our all details, as she was our assigned coordinator. Gina was Super attentive to the details and decor, aswell very efficient with our Timeline of the Day. Gina ensured our night was going smoothly and checked in with us routinely through out the night if we needed anything. Thank you Gina for help on our Wedding night.

Sandy was very grateful in your help in assisting in fixing the buttons on her dress and your attentiveness throughout the night including notifying Doug & Gina if we could print a speech, as the MOH forgot to print her speech and the team was able to get it printed for us.

The Amber Room Colonnade is the Best Kept Secret in Fairfield County just 7 miles from Westchester County. With a Grand Banquet Hall that accommodates 250 Guests Total. But can also be divided for 150 Guests on one side and 100 Guests on the other side. We just had our Ceremony and Reception there with 100 Guests two weeks ago! Our Marriage was performed at one of their two outdoor Gazebo’s. We had several hundred pictures taken on their gorgeous grounds. During our reception the food and service by the staff was highly praised by our guests; along with the Dessert Table and Espresso/Cappuccino Cart. We could not have imagined a better wedding ceremony, reception and venue, it all was perfection! From the food and drinks, to the space and views, to the management and staff, all was amazing. Just wanted to give a few special shout outs... Doug the owner was super nice and welcoming from the day that we met. Katie our manager who worked with us from day one that was unbelievably helpful with each and every step, leading us to the correct decisions and guiding us to an unforgettable day. Gina, Patty and their team who coordinated our wedding the day of were so sweet and willing to help take care of anything and everything, making our special day so easy to enjoy. The chef, baker and bartenders who created our cocktail hour food and drink as well as our entrees and wedding cake, they all were spectacular. Words can't express how much we love the entire Amber Room staff. The venue is gorgeous inside and out so you will get wonderful photos/videos to capture every awesome moment so that you can savor your memories. We sure do!!! A huge shout out to the greatest team at The Amber Room Colonnade. My husband and I had a night to remember and we owe a huge part of it to our friends at The Amber Room. Katie in particular is just an all around MVP. Wedding planning is never stress free but Katie was kind, communicative and resourceful. We were able to get guidance from her regarding things like transportation, hotel blocks, signature drinks, cake and room decor. She and her team helped our vision come to life with a beautiful fall themed wedding that captured both of our cultures and the love we share. Both of our families had a blast and a few of our friends brought home their entrees just to savor the deliciousness one more time!! A huge shout out to the Chef. Cocktail hour and dinner was incredible and tasty. We haven't had a steak that good in years!
