The Mansion at Oyster Bay is a wedding venue located in Woodbury, New York. A member of the Lessing’s Hospitality Group, this 120-acre estate belongs to the affluent Gold Coast community. The Gold Coast community flourished in Long Island’s North Shore at the turn of the 20th century. Now widely recognized for its connection with F. Scott Fitzgerald’s novel, The Great Gatsby, the Gold Coast retains much of its original splendor. The estate’s proprietors invite you and your guests to be part of the magnificence. Enjoy modern amenities as you experience the best that the youthful 20th century had to offer.
Facilities and Capacity
The Mansion at Oyster Bay features French doors, black and white marble flooring, a beautiful winding staircase, and a number of exquisite candelabra-style wall sconces. The ballroom is accented with rich, dark wood. In the evening, the space is illuminated by a collection of radiant chandeliers. The venue is able to accommodate up to 600 guests. The Mansion offers indoor and outdoor reception areas. Get-ready rooms, a terrace, and a dance floor are also available for use. The venue does not include facilities for overnight accommodation.
Services Offered
The Mansion at Oyster Bay offers a number of premium wedding packages. Packages include a range of drinks and dining options, a custom-designed wedding cake, tea and coffee service, a choice of linen colors, and place cards. A wedding coordinator is also available to help you plan your reception. For your pleasure and convenience, food and liquor are supplied by the venue’s in-house catering team. The Mansion maintains a list of preferred vendors.
Cuisine
The venue’s extensive wedding menu promises to delight even the most discerning palate. It includes options for hot and cold hors d'oeuvres, cocktail stations, a carving station, a steak house carvery, dinner entrées, and dessert plates. You and your guests can enjoy raspberry brie en croute, ravioli puttanesca, grilled swordfish, and a host of other wonderful dining options. Vegetarian and kosher entrées are also available.

Beyond perfect!
Also, if you have someone in your bridal party with a physical disability, this place is super accessible. My mother doesn’t walk very well so I loved that the aisle wasn’t very long and didn’t have grass, and that everything we needed including the bridal suite was all on one floor. if you do choose to use the second floor they have an elevator to help you get up there.
They also only do one wedding/ event at a time which was a big plus for me! The mansion was ours from the time we arrived at 7:30 in the morning to when we left at 9:30 at night. I couldn’t recommend this venue more.

Beauty, elegance, and an ambiance that is exquisite. The Woodlands at Woodbury is one of the finest wedding venues on Long Island. The staff is professional and committed to excellence. We are honored to be recommended by this wonderful venue.
I am so thankful to have chosen The Woodlands as the place for my husband and I to join our families. Elegance, class, wonderful food, atmosphere, and the most incredible staff... what more can I say. We used The Drawing Room for the ceremony. The dark wood, dimmed lighting and fireplace made the most romantic setting. Since getting married almost 1 year ago this month, I am so happy to know that I will be coming back here again in January. The Woodlands will be hosting our daughter's Sweet 16 and we are doing a Masquerade Ball as the theme... so fitting for a beautiful mansion. And to make things even better.. I have made such wonderful friends and I am also so thrilled to have become a vendor here at The Woodlands as their Makeup Artist. What a wonderful journey this has been. I hope you too add this beautiful place and "family" to your lives!
