The Barn at Hillsprings Farm

Providing countryside wedding elegance since 1998, The Barn at Hillsprings Farm is a tranquil venue that sits in the serene hillside of Addison, New York. This property straddles the border and lies just three miles south of Freeman, NY, and three miles north of Elkland, PA. Back in the mid-90s, a family friend asked the Painters about staging their wedding celebration at the barn. Since they already worked as wedding caterers, they decided to build an on-site catering facility and open their doors officially to the public in 1998. The rest is history.

Facilities and Capacity

The Barn at Hillsprings Farm underwent reconstruction to renovate the hay loft into the elegate space it currently maintains. What stands before couples and their loved ones now is 2,700 square feet of endless possibilities, featuring a dessert table, gift table, family photo piano bar, welcome table, and so much more. The overall capacity is for 240 people, meaning the barn can accommodate both intimate, smaller gatherings as well as wild, lavish affairs. Depending on the weather, there is also the option of holding the ceremony and/or cocktail hour indoors or outdoors. This ceremony event space includes chairs, a stunning arbor, and a beautiful backdrop where newlyweds can swap their vows and then pose for the camera to capture the majesty of the moment.

With years of experience in the food industry, the Painter family is delighted to discuss customizable menu options with each couple. From hors d'oeuvres to dinner, there is a wide choice of tasty treats and mouthwatering mains to ensure something to entice each guest to the dinner table. As for dessert, the famous Cupcake Tree's wooden slices will proudly display the most delicious and decadent array of sweets and cakes. Of course, the wedding cake can take centre stage, sitting tall and splendid until the time comes to share among family and friends.
