10/10 recommend having your wedding here! Rocco was incredible to work with - so professional, responsive, attentive, and did not make us feel like we were just another client hosting an event here. We had both our ceremony and reception here. Once we were a week out from the wedding, no other event was booked on our night so our cocktail hour was automatically upgraded to the bigger space, no charge. The venue is absolutely gorgeous and the service was unmatched. My guests could not stop telling me about how incredible the service was. The tasting experience was so personal and fun! Glen Island knows exactly what they are doing and you will not be disappointed! Rocco is amazing! Cannot recommend enough!

My husband and I got married at Glen Island this past April and had a great experience. Our event manager, Jack was very detail oriented, flexible and accommodating. The venue was beautiful, the food was excellent and the service was on point in every area. We couldn’t have asked for a better venue or team to entrust with our special day.

It took one visit 2 years before our wedding for us to realize this was the place. The beautiful location, the view over the bay, the ample space, the décor, the large glass windows, every corner of this building has a touch of elegance. The building is divided into two sections and the moment we set foot into the glass walled reception hall the decision was made. This hall is accompanied by an outdoor canopy for the ceremony and at first, we worried about how the weather would affect the ceremony, but when you work with a consummate professional you quickly put these fears to the side.

From the moment we met Sandro we understood that to him the small details are the ones that pay dividends. Our wedding was the chance to have all the friends and family that helped us get to this day under one roof, providing them with an unforgettable experience was our number one goal and Sandro made it happen. The package offered to us was well crafted with plenty of food options during the cocktail hour, a lavish meal for the reception culminating in a Viennese hour for dessert and pretzels and ice cream as guests leave. Sandro ensured that all our expectations were exceeded. We even discovered that he really enjoys Latin American food and brought him some pupusas which he reluctantly shared with the rest of his team. With his help we were also able to secure permits with Westchester County so we could host a drone show over the park for our guests.

The day of the wedding our Maître d', Maria expertly guided her staff into providing an unforgettable experience. Even better, she made sure that despite the hustle of the day we got to eat, something the groom thoroughly enjoyed haha. On the day of the wedding a bridal attendant was appointed to the bride as well, Ashlee. Despite her unfortunate choice of Dominican baseball team (Aguilas, boo!), her skill and attention to detail were critical in ensuring the bride looked stunning all night.

As the bride and groom it is difficult to really know how your guests experienced the wedding, you must wait days and sometimes weeks to get the full picture. It rained on the morning of the wedding and we found out later that Sandro was personally ensuring a pleasant, dry, and clean space for the ceremony up to the moment the first guest arrived. His staff immediately made our guests feel like the stars they are, ensuring a glamorous experience from the moment they set foot in the venue. It difficult to satisfy so many palates at once yet folks rave about the succulent the pernil, the perfectly cooked steak, the sauteed shrimp, and the seemingly endless hors d'oeuvres; our guests were stuffed before the reception started. During the reception our guests were treated to great dishes and the Viennese hour? It is difficult to describe setting foot into the wonderland of decadence that Glen Island set up for dessert. There was something for every taste and palate. The pictures on their site do not do it justice.

With every comment our guests make the full image of the night takes shape, it is now weeks later that we can fully appreciate the work and skill of Sandro and his team to ensure an amazing experience. The club is a large building and while hosting two weddings at no point did it ever feel like there was anyone else there but us. We are incredibly grateful to the staff of this club and know that their efforts have created memories that our guests will enjoy for many years to come.

If I could give 100 stars I would! I have to start by saying that the bang for your buck here is truly unmatched. We had a modest budget and so our options were very much dictated by the price point. My mother had suggested Glen Island because she had attended a wedding there years ago. We were hesitant to go because the website was not as up to date as others but we figured we would give it a shot. I am so glad we did because we knew right away that it was the right place.

Not only is the location and venue itself gorgeous, but they offered so many of the elements that other venues were charging extra for, as part of the wedding package. From the champagne welcome to the hot chocolates as people left, my friends and family think we’re millionaires because of the incredible luxury and attention to detail. Truthfully I was surprised at my own wedding! Everything was just above and beyond what I imagined and we enjoyed seeing all of the little details come together. I feel like we got 3 times the value of what we paid.

Rodney made planning an absolute breeze! He was so kind and easy to work with from the first time he toured us around. We didn’t have a planner (budget!) and I asked if we needed a day-of coordinator to make sure everything went smoothly on our wedding day - he said no. I was nervous because I’m generally a bit anxious, but I am so glad I trusted him because we did not need to do a THING on our wedding day. He was so kind and attentive and even made sure we had Diet Coke at the wedding because my entire family is addicted.

Everything was taken care of and our maitre d for the night, George, was INCREDIBLE! He anticipated our every need and took care of anything and everything we needed throughout the night. I think he saw me fanning myself after getting worked up on the dance floor and immediately turned the air up. Shoutout to my bridal attendant Jasmine who was a literal angel! She helped with everything and was so kind and sweet the entire time. She helped me carry my dress outside, get ready for the ceremony - everything!

Now… the FOOD! Everyone I spoke to could not get over the food. I have a friend who is basically a professional wedding guest — he’s been to over 150 weddings and he said this cocktail hour was in the top 5! There were just so many options and everything was hot and delicious. I know everyone says this about their wedding but I really wish I had eaten more! They had so many options for the cocktail hour that we were able to incorporate foods from out cultures which was a nice touch. Another friend said that her entire table was saying this was some of the best wedding food they’ve ever had. We did the Viennese dessert hour, and I think some of my friends went literally insane (as did I) when they saw the display. I heard one friend said “how expensive is this wedding?!” Truly we had no idea the dessert hour would be this lavish. Everyone kept saying it was like Willy Wonka.

Truthfully, this could not have been an easier planning process for what was an amazing wedding. I had an idea of what it would be and this surpassed that tenfold. The guests were constantly commenting on how amazing the staff were — could not be happier that we chose this venue! My father is already trying to convince my sister to host her son’s bar mitzvah here so we can return.

The one thing I had a hesitation about at the start was that we were told we needed to use one of their recommended florists. Well, I was wrong to worry because we worked with Enza Events and I truly could not have asked for anything better. Looking back it made the process easier because I didn’t need to search through hundreds of vendors, I had a small selection to choose from and got to work with an amazing vendor.

Glen Island — update your website! The world needs to see how amazing you are!

Glen Island Harbour Club is as picturesque as it gets, with stunning waterfront views and grand spaces that elevate every wedding. The light here is incredible—every photo feels so vibrant and timeless.

This review is almost impossible to do because how could I sum up in just a few characters how amazing a venue Glen Island Harbour Club was for the most important day of our lives? Getting married at Glen Island was an absolute dream and i'm so thankful we got to experience such a magical day. The entire staff at the venue went consistently above and beyond to ensure that we enjoyed ourselves and every single moment of our special day. Huge thanks to Rocco of course, Maria, Miss Hope, Jasmine and all of the other amazing workers who facilitated our special day with such care and professionalism. People are still raving about our cocktail hours months later. We checked out a number of venues, but no where could ever measure up to Glen Island at all. They simply had the best selections of everything. We were 1000% blown away by how good the food AND service was at our food tasting. The food options were just so through and vast. Wedding planning can potentially be stressful and expensive, but every single visit we made to Glen Island was an absolute joy and pleasure. The staff helped us fine tune our first look location right near the venue and you can just tell that everyone there is truly invested and passionate about the work that they do. Physically the venue was spacious, ornate yet classy and provided our guest with a truly elevated experience. I'm hoping some day I can attend another event at Glen Island just so that I can experience the venue as a guest! Rocco, Maria and Miss Hope were always very accommodating with us and very clear about specifics if we had any ideas (ex. The size runner we would need if we wanted to use one, the types of petals for our flower girls, the use and size of provided easels etc). They were also very through when it came time to us bringing items over and cataloging what we had. It just made our actual day of that much more stress free. Day of we were provided with food and a quiet moment, to enjoy our cocktail food, had plenty of time to take photos, and were provided with very attentive attendants. Jasmine bustled my dress so easily, and our waiter made sure we always had our signature cocktails in hand! The baker they worked with made us a stunning cake, the florists they recommended were utmost professionals as well. It was just the perfect venue; We’d pick them all over again given the choice.

My husband and I had our wedding on July 4th with you guys and my gosh, it was everything we ever dreamed!!!! Jack is phenomenal, he ensured leading up to my wedding that no stone is unturned! He’s methodical, detailed oriented, and so on the ball with his knowledge and experience. He executed our wedding with finesse and perfection!!! He listened to everything I wanted to express to him and you even made it unique with all the vegan food!

George and Ashlee were sooo amazing on the day of. So sweet and so attentive- making sure we were satisfied with everything and ensuring we had cool towels, enough water, our stuff was with us, we were eating, and the timing of events were all appropriate to our liking. I can’t thank Glen island harbour club enough!

As soon as we left Glen Island we knew we wanted to get married there. Sandro is so professional and the venue is stunning. From start to finish it was such a pleasure working with them. The day of went so smoothly thanks to Sandro, Maria, and Ashlee. I couldn’t have gotten through pre ceremony jitters without Ashlee. She was so attentive and understanding. All of our guests raved about the food and our bridal party was blown away by the service of everyone, especially Maria our maitre d’. As my mom asked, “Why would anyone get married anywhere else?”

My brother got married at Glen Island Harbour Club nearly 10 years ago and when it was my turn to get married, I knew exactly what vendor I wanted to visit first. Glen Island was the only venue we visited and my decision was made before we left the first meeting. Rocco was the best manager anyone could ask for -- attentive, personable, reliable, gracious, and generous. He took care of our every needs and made sure the planning for the big day went seamlessly. My biggest concern was ensuring our guests did not leave our wedding looking for the nearest diner - with Glen Island, that concern was immediately quelled. Not only do they offer more food than anyone could imagine, but the food is top quality and delicious. Our guests were raving about the food -- including the lamb chops and eggplant rollatini at cocktail hour, and all of the entrees at dinner. The staff at Glen Island truly goes above and beyond. Joseph was our maitre'd and was cordial, accommodating, and attentive to details. He answered all of our questions and made sure our guests were comfortable and happy. I have to give a warm shoutout to Evelyn, our bridal attendant. Not only did she make sure the bridal suite was fully stocked with food from the cocktail hour and drinks, but she saved my dress when the bustle broke right before I went out to meet our guests during cocktail hour. I truly cannot say enough about Glen Island. If you want to have a wedding where all your needs are met, your guests are happy, AND the food is actually delicious, you'll get all of that here. Glen Island made our wedding a wonderful night to remember and I'd recommend the venue and their team to anyone in an instant.

Glen Island was the first and only venue we visited because it checked all the boxes for our wedding. Rocco and all of the staff make you feel right at home and the feeling when we got to preview the cocktail and reception rooms before everyone went in was indescribable because they set everything up better than we could ever have imagined. From the stunning views to the amazing food to the incredible service, this venue is a no brainer! Our guests are still raving about how beautiful the venue was, how it was the best cocktail hour they’ve been to, how every steak was cooked perfectly, and how awesome the service was. We never had an empty drink and had someone checking on us all night to make sure everything was perfect.
