We have received so many compliments on our wedding reception. The atmosphere at the Enchanted Manor is really special, and Georgia, the owner, made everything easy, even though we came to her at the last minute. She helped us find a wonderful caterer. She had a sound system with speakers outside, so all we had to do was bring our music. Everyone had a wonderful time. I highly recommend The Enchanted Manor.Sent on 04/03/2009

Georgia the owner was so unprofessional,Not a good place for special events
I had a horrible experience renting this place for a special event. Be aware that just to deal with Georgina is pain in the neck. Not to mention that you're gonna have so much difficulty to receive your deposit back because she will make up new charges which is not even written on the contract and try everything to keep your deposit. She went against the contract trying to charge us $300 just because the rental guys went there 20min early to drop off the rentals(the additional fee in the contract was after the 5hours bot before that) Consider that the place is very dark for special events like weddings or engagement parties. You can't have Dj because the owner won't let you have it. She came twice in the middle of a performance asking us to bring down the music even though we could barely hear it and it was 9:00 pm. There was no privacy through out the whole night because Georgina comes back and forth in the middle of your event. She was so unprofessional.we're changing in the bathroom ,she came in without asking or knocking the door to tell us our clothes are so heavy for the hanger !! She keeps saying she came to make sure if there were toilet papers, but there were already there ,and those things are prepared a head of time.although we paid for cleaning fee ,she was trying to over charge me because of one popper ,and she was so cheap that didn’t want to deduct the cost of that from the cleaning fee.She actually asked me to go there and clean it so I could save her $40.OMG!! We had plenty of alcohols (wine, vodka whisky) but she had to blame us somehow to keep the rest of the deposit .She accused us of taking her wine( how cheap of her!) she asked the caterers to giver her food which I don’t mind but that’s nor professional at all!! The place is maybe good just to rent out for a stay. So sorry for the rest of her clients (maybe now she’ll learn how to treat people)! And you can buy a new pajama for you with the rest of the deposit.Sent on 09/25/2019
THE ENCHANTED MANOR's reply:This is the first time I actually met a "Bridezilla". Wow. She didn't want to pay for anything. I gave her the tables at half price ($4.00) each and then she balked about paying the $20.00 set up and breakdown fee. She exploded poppers which went all over the property and in the pool. I don't allow poppers!!! She never asked for permision. It's been over a month now and I am still finding the reminisce of those shinny gold things. I had to hire additional workers to pick up all those gold things. It took them hours and still they are floating around here. I have even seen them on the street in the front of the house 600 ft away from where they were popped! They clogged the pool filter and were embedded in all the plants which had to be picked out ONE by ONE. I only charged her $30.00 for the extra cost to clean them up. It actually cost me $80.00. I gave her so many beaks on cost and still she wanted to squeeze me on every "little" thing. The rental people were here 1 hour early, not 20 minutes as she stated. My normal charge for an extra hour is $300.00. I only charged her $150.00. Even if it were only 20 minutes, the contract reads for one hour or fraction of. She took $170.00 of my personal wine and never returned it. As far as being on the property, that is my job! I have to be sure there is toilet paper and paper towels in the bathrooms and turn the lights and waterfalls off and on when needed. All her guest were raving about how beautiful everything looked, which could not happen without my being on top of everything. A person who's ugly inside cannot see the the beauty around them or appreciate when people are being kind. I feel sorry for her husband.
The Enchanted Manor is such a warm and inviting place for a wedding. I recently photographed a wedding there and was amazed with every aspect of the event. The owner Georgia is so genuine and professional. She makes certain that every detail is taken care of to the clients request. The environment was truly magical which made the brides fairytale wedding dreams come true. For me, the photographer, the beautiful surroundings made for very special photographs for a very special day.
