Services Offered
Stephen will strive to develop a lasting connection with each partner, gaining an understanding of their specific beliefs and values. Stephen will create an outline that shows couples what their ceremony will be like and offers opportunities to customize their ceremony with selected readings and cultural practices that best support them. Stephen invites couples to create their own vows if they wish. If not, he has five suggestions for them to choose from and can help them select the best fit. During the ceremony, Stephen is known for creating a safe and intimate environment for the couple to speak directly to one another. Stephen services a wide spectrum of wedding events, including elopements, civil unions, and vow renewals. He will travel to a venue of your choice or help you organize a micro-wedding experience in Central Park or other scenic New York City public space. Stephen will deliver a personally tailored experience, creating deeply intimate celebrations. He will instill a sense that “something extraordinary is happening”, curating a joyous environment that will leave a lasting impression upon couples and their guests.

Great Experience
More Than an Officiant – Still Helping Us Nearly 10 Years Later
Almost ten years later, I found myself needing his help again. As part of my Spanish residency application, I needed to obtain an extended version of our New York marriage certificate, which turned out to be a much more complicated process than I had expected.
Stephen could not have been more helpful. He went above and beyond, attending appointments in New York on my behalf, helping navigate the process, keeping me updated throughout and making sure the final documents were obtained and sent safely to me in the UK.
It says a lot about someone that almost a decade after your wedding, they are still willing to go out of their way to help you. Stephen is not only a fantastic officiant, but a genuinely kind, reliable and caring person.
We were lucky to have him marry us in 2016, and I am incredibly grateful for all his help again in 2026. I would recommend Stephen without hesitation to anyone looking for an officiant in New York.
