Tonya and Angela were amazing to work with for my daughter’s wedding on June 8 at Riverbottoms Ranch. From the tours of venues to the selection of vendors, Tonya listened to each request and guided us on our decisions. They kept us on track for our timeline deadlines and made sure we hadn’t missed any detail. Their patience, expertise and attention to detail ensured everything was perfect on my daughter’s wedding day and family and guests enjoyed the day. We are so grateful we chose Angela and Tonya to plan our August 2025 wedding in Park City. Angela was incredibly organized and attentive, going above and beyond to coordinate with our vendors and ensure every detail was covered. Tonya’s wealth of knowledge and local connections was invaluable, especially since we’re not local. They made the entire planning process smooth and stress-free, even with a few last-minute changes, including replacing our photographer just over a month out. Tonya and Mackenzie were wonderful to work with for our July wedding in Park City. They were a huge part of every step - From helping us narrow down and select vendors, to keeping us on track in the months leading up to the wedding (which went by so quickly!), and finally to making sure the entire weekend went smoothly. My husband and I felt confident during the process that everything was getting done with time to spare. We especially appreciated their attention to detail and calm presence on the wedding day. I hired Angela and Tonya for the month before the wedding and day of coordination. Overjoyed to say I'm SO happy I did! I did most of the wedding planning with my husband and my family, so when Angela and Tonya's services kicked in, it felt like help had finally arrived! We were going to be okay! From the very beginning, Angela and Tonya were highly communicative, organized, and confident. I gave them a list of all my vendors and they independently reached out to each to ensure everyone was on the same page. They worked very hard to make sure everything we pictured in our head was translated seamlessly to real life. Leading up to the wedding, I was so fearful that my outdoor ceremony was going to be rained out. Tonya called me a few days before the wedding to discuss an indoor ceremony back up plan. She did a great job communicating what may need to happen while also keeping me calm and assuring me that she'd do everything she can to give me my outdoor ceremony. The morning of the wedding, I was an emotional mess because the forecast said it was going to rain. But did I have to do anything? Nope! Tonya scrambled behind the scenes so I could enjoy getting ready and having fun with my friends and family. A few hours before the wedding, Tonya texted me and said we're good to have the outdoor ceremony! I was so relieved. Still not sure how she worked her magic but I'm so grateful she did! The ceremony was wonderful. We ran a little behind schedule during the dinner/reception but Tonya was adaptive and would consult us along the way to ensure we got everything we wanted. I highly recommend Tonya, Angela, and Hoopes Events to anyone looking to actually have fun at their event. These ladies took everything off my plate so I could be in the moment with my husband, family, and friends. I'm so thankful that Hoopes was part of my wedding!

Mackenzie did an excellent job as our wedding planner. Very responsive, helped us choose all the decorations, followed up with all the vendors, and troubleshooted our hotel block which was amazing. If you're debating whether or not to get a wedding planner, I would definitely say go for it. Your sanity will thank you later.

ANGELA MENLOVE

We want to give the biggest shout out to Angela Menlove from us for doing the decorations of a lifetime at our wedding! She was phenomenal! We spent over six months reaching out to her and getting her help deciding colors, themes, and all of our ideas! We saw many fun ideas on Instagram and Tiktok and she was able to make them a reality while also giving us direction in pointing out what would work best! Let me tell you all about how amazing she was! She went out of her way to be available for calls! We called her almost every weekend and she was basically our wedding planner as well! She was always ready for us to bounce our ideas off her and proved so instrumental in our wedding! She coordinated every detail and was available to make sure our visions turned into reality. We visited the venue multiple times before the wedding with Angela. We had four events over a two day period and she coordinated decorations of all the events. She worked with her floral team to set different areas with flowers. She was patient with us especially when we were going back and forth on various ideas and incorporating multiple changes. She transformed the venue with amazing decor. Everyone was amazed with the decorations of our wedding and I quote, “funnest, best looking wedding we’ve ever been to” -a ton of guests. We’ll definitely be booking her if we ever have any other party throwing needs and highly recommend to anyone needing help decorating their wedding! People should just pull the trigger and get married because then they could hire Angela for the most memorable weddings of their lives!!! We are grateful for her expertise and knowledge. Photographers were able to capture every detail for our memories that we will cherish for the rest of our lives. Thank you Angela! We love you :)

We worked with Mackenzie as our day-of coordinator and she made it easy for me to fully enjoy my wedding day. She went above and beyond and was so helpful! We got married on top of a mountain so between juggling vendors and all of the usual logistics, Mackenzie also tackled the additional logistics that came our the wedding venue (e.g., getting guests to the ceremony location via chairlift). She was always willing to hop on a call and provide advice leading up to the wedding date, which I was so grateful for. Come the day of, she was authoritative and took control. Can’t say enough great things about Mackenzie! I highly recommend working with Hoopes!

Mackenzie did a fantastic job for our wedding. It was a snap decision to bring her on as a month-of coordinator and we are so happy we did. She was attentive, organized and on the ball for our wedding. We even had a mishap (not her fault) during the day-of, where one of our guest buses broke down, and she did a great job resolving the issue. Highly recommend Hoopes!

Tonya Hoopes was the “Day Of” coordinator for my daughter’s destination wedding. She and her team were absolutely amazing. They were so organized, efficient, and wonderful to work with. With relatively little instructions, they jumped into action and executed a flawless wedding. There was some ongoing miscommunication among the venue staff, and Tonya, in a seemingly effortless way, was able to help them figure things out and made everything run just as planned. Because it was a destination wedding, we had to transport an enormous amount of things. Tonya directed the unpacking and set up for the wedding perfectly, and then expertly packed everything up to be taken home. The ceremony, happy hour, dinner, and dancing were all in different locations at the venue, and Tonya so smoothly coordinated all of the transitions and every single detail in between. Tonya has a keen sense of how to make things beautiful, and that really showed in the entire wedding. Having Tonya there and having confidence that she was in charge of everything allowed each of us to totally relax and enjoy the day. Not only were Tonya and her team highly competent, but they were just delightful people who exuded friendliness, a feeling of calmness, and an air of being confidently in charge. Tonya and her team made the day exactly what the couple wanted, and they couldn’t have been happier. I cannot say enough about how wonderful Tonya and her team were, and I give them my highest recommendation. We would hire them again in a heartbeat.

Tonya Hoopes of Hoopes Events is the best wedding coordinator you can possibly find.
