New in August 2026, the hotel’s outdoor lawn provides a beautiful open-air setting for wedding celebrations. Host a cocktail hour on the lawn before moving into the Robinson Room for dinner—or begin indoors and continue the celebration outside. The lawn can accommodate up to 75 seated guests beneath a tent, offering a flexible setting for intimate weddings, micro-weddings, receptions, and other special events.

The Robinson Room and adjoining outdoor spaces can accommodate celebrations ranging from 40 to 100 guests, depending on the event setup. The hotel also offers dog-friendly guest rooms, making it easier to include every beloved member of the family. With accommodations available on-site, guests can enjoy the celebration without worrying about traveling afterward. Select wedding packages also include a complimentary one-night stay for the newlyweds.

The Brunswick Hotel’s culinary team offers modern coastal cuisine and customizable catering options designed around each couple’s vision. Available enhancements include bar service, champagne toasts, tastings, coffee stations, and other personalized selections. We just hosted our daughter's wedding at the hotel last weekend.. So much to say so let's start with the staff. The event staff met with us as many times as we wanted during the year long process of planning listening to all our wants, needs and concerns. They addressed all issues and really delivered. This was a weekend destination for many of our guests and the entire hotel staff was wonderful. The front desk staff made sure all our guests were comfortable and went above and beyond for the guests and made sure the wedding party had everything they needed. A special thanks to the event coordinators,servers and bartenders. They were always one step of everything and even anticipated things that as parents of the bride we were too busy to to anticipate. They worked tirelessly setting up for the event,during the event and during the breakdown of the event. The hotel is top notch and charming and extremely clean yet has the amenities one would expect. It is set in beautiful Brunswick Maine, a beautiful coastal town with so much to do. It's only 15 minutes to Freeport Maine with all it's great shopping and 25 minutes to Portland Maine. The hotel is across the street from the Bowdoin College Campus which offers so much beauty for wedding photos. Again, if you are looking for a beautiful setting and venue for a wedding and you live in Maine , don't look too far because it is right here at the Brunswick hotel and Tavern in Brunswick Maine. If you are not lucky enough to live in Maine then this hotel and area would make a wonderful destination wedding. Special thanks to Brandon, Chris, Kate, Lisa and all servers for a wonderful wedding event. The management and staff of the Brunswick Hotel and Tavern provided us with extraordinary service and personal attention when they hosted our wedding reception on June 28, 2014. We would especially like to thank and commend Mr. Brandon Hussey, Director of Sales and Marketing, for his generous assistance throughout every stage of planning and preparation. As a mature couple with numerous family members and friends traveling from across the country to join us, we were especially grateful for the flexibility with which attractive and comfortable accommodations were made available. We would also like to express our gratitude for the professionalism of Restaurant Supervisor Ms. Kate Flynn. Ms. Flynn was in every aspect of planning of our menu and the seating of seventy-five guests in the Robinson Room, incredibly patient and helpful. During our reception, Ms. Flynn and her staff unobtrusively attended to every detail and provided a delicious meal. The Brunswick Hotel and Tavern is the ideal venue for a wedding reception.

Simply a dream event from start to finish. Brandon and his team devoted considerable care to planning every detail with us, and clearly wanted to day to be as perfect as possible. We talked to several venues before choosing the Inn, and there's no doubt this is the best choice in the Brunswick/Freeport area. Their flexibility and attention to detail made them really stand out as a venue, but their enthusiasm and personal involvement in my wedding are what made the day for us. Chef designed a great menu and made dinner a delight. Lisa and Kate (the banquet managers) made everything run perfectly and look fantastic. James (the bartender) custom designed our cocktails and made guests feel very welcome. And meanwhile, Brandon handled all my questions, schedule changes, room block changes, special requests, and general "bride stuff" with grace, humor, and patience - but above all, he handled them effectively and completely.

One detail really stood out, and may give you an idea of their wonderful care: Early in the planning, I mentioned that I'd like to surprise the groom with his favorite drink (Moxie) and Dunkin Donuts at the reception if I could remember to run out and get them. Of course I didn't have time on the day of. We got to the ceremony to find the groom's place set with a can of Moxie and three of his favorite donuts - they'd gone out to get them since they knew I wouldn't have time. It was a small thing, but a good example of the level of attention they showed throughout. Highly recommended!

Our wedding was beautiful. The staff was great and very helpful. We went with a small buffet and the food was delicious and very timely. I have also used the Brunswick hotel and tavern for work. We hosted a retirement planning seminar there with a plated meal and all the clients were impressed with everything.
