Highly highly highly recommend Zach and Jodi! Seriously, stop what you're doing and book them NOW. We are still absolutely blown away by our experience with them & at our photo album 8 months later. From the start they were incredibly easy to work with- beyond personable, responsive, organized, and helpful. They are not only insanely talented at what they do, but are also some of the most genuine, kind, easy going and funny humans that have a way of making you feel so comfortable and relaxed. A lot can happen on your wedding day that is out of your control (we had a rain storm, the torrential downpour kind, headed straight for our mountain top ceremony location just a few hours prior to start time). Zach and Jodi somehow managed to make a game plan, pack the umbrellas just in case, and get us to the summit regardless for some stunning first look photos-without either of us ever even knowing about the potential ceremony-ruiner-incoming-typhoon storm. They are more than photographers in that way and I am so thankful we had them with us, our day truly could have gone a lot differently had we not. I could rave about them and our entire experience for hours, not to mention their knack for capturing the tiniest and most intimate details of your day in the most natural and real way. We will truly cherish them forever!

Go book The Camerados (Zach and Jodi) right now. These two are truly talented. The photos were beautiful--the color saturation was so vivid and like nothing I had seen before.

We were looking for a photographer to take some pictures of us on our wedding anniversary. We are not Portland residents, and Zach and Jodi took the time to send us a handful of places to take photos at and helped us get a feel for what we should expect venue wise. I knew I wanted us to be near water, and they had plenty of suggestions--one even with a lighthouse and it felt perfect for New England.

This is a small detail but it had a big impact. Zach started off the session with a little story about love and us and talked about romantic and happy thoughts. He said this all while my husband and I were hugging each other. His story was calming and meaningful. This started us off on the right foot--we immediately felt comfortable with them.  

Zach and Jodi guided us and suggest poses...but nothing that made us feel awkward. They both were willing to stand out in the December cold and Zach was willing to get wet to capture a great shot with the water crashing against the rocks. They were so fun to work with they made us forget how cold and windy it was outside.

Zach and Jodi are so much more than photographers. They are great people. They are fun! And you just want to grab a drink with them and get to know them. So that's exactly what we did.

Zach & Jodi are the kind of photographers that you walk away being friends with. I am not a particularly photogenic person, but their relaxed attitudes and great humor made me feel comfortable enough to actually get incredible photos for our engagement shoot and our wedding. We were already ecstatic about our photos after the engagement session, but after we got our wedding photos back, we were completely blown away. They have a gift that not many other photographers have - the ability and passion to tell the story. They didn't just take pictures of us, they truly gave us a thousand tiny time capsules that take us back to those wonderful moments we shared with friends and family. We could not have asked for more. Also, they really are awesome friends and have a cute pup named Glen. He's great, too.
