Grover Studios	Samara and her team are truly amazing. We have worked with many coordinators and she truly impressed us. She took care of all the details for the bride and groom, we only contacted her and she would get back to us with what the bride wanted and needed. She expressed all that was needed of us, and also answered any questions we had. Her team the day of the wedding made the couple's day go so smooth. How many planners do you work with? We have 2 senior wedding planners and assistants.

What style of wedding do you specialize in planning? There is no one specific style we focus on. Our clients weddings reflect their individual and unique style. ... Therefore, our approach to wedding planning is custom designed around our client. If needed, we offer suggestions and ideas to make your wedding all that you can imagine and dream of.

Do you support or cater to any specific cultures? Most definitely... We truly enjoy working with our clients to include those facets of their culture(s) that truly make their wedding unique and special.

What sizes of weddings have you coordinated in the past? 10 up to 300+ guests.

Which venues have you worked at that you are familiar with? We've worked with various venues within the Maryland, District of Columbia, and Virginia areas. We also have worked with destination venues (Puerto Rico, Florida, Bahamas).

Additional Questions and Answers

1. If I hire a wedding planner, will they take over my wedding?
There are some who may, however, we will not. Your wedding is exactly that – YOUR wedding. It should reflect your personal, distinct style, and ultimate vision, not ours. We have personally experienced how unpleasant this type of person can be and this is certainly not what we’re about – creating an unbearable and stressful experience for you.

Your happiness and overall satisfaction with our services is of utmost importance to us. We sincerely believe you deserve and should experience the ultimate, pleasant and memorable engagement and planning experience, working with vendors that have your best interest and vision in mind.

2. Why can’t I just use my friend |relative | other vendor to plan my wedding?
Some people choose to take the offer of assistance from friends, relatives or vendors to plan their wedding. Although they’re willing to help you (with good intentions), keep in mind their assistance and time may be very limited, as well as their knowledge of wedding planning details and attention required to execute a flawless wedding.

3. Does By Design Events always use the same vendors?
We have a list of vendors with whom we enjoy working alongside and have a great relationship with; however, we are certainly open to opportunities and remain flexible to working with new vendors with exceptional service. If you have a vendor in mind we look forward to getting to know them. Our ultimate goal is to create the best team of service providers for your event to produce the wedding of your dreams.
