Ari Kristin and Jenny are TRULY the best team!!!! They perfectly balance professionalism, attention to detail, and an incredible creative vision and eye. They responded to every email or text quickly, helpfully and always so kindly. I truly could not have imagined a more seamless process start to finish and a better day-of experience!!  They got to know me / my vision better than I did and made suggestions that transformed the night into the most incredible wedding I could have imagined. On such an important day, ARJ productions is the team you want supporting you! Could not recommend enough!!!

Tynise did a wonderful job from start to finish on my May 10th wedding! She made sure every detail was executed to our desire. Tynise was able to give me that reassurance and sense of calm that every bride needs leading up to her big day. She also paired me with an awesome DJ who kept the crowd dancing as much as possible and played all the songs we requested. I would absolutely recommend Pure Elegance to any couples I know who are preparing for their big day.

There is so much to say but just not enough time! L.A. Williams is truly by far the best event planner. I threw a lot at her while planning my wedding and she never flinched. She simply caught all the balls out of the air organized them and moved on to the next task. We had a blast planning with her. she made the entire process 100% stress free! It was very important to us that whomever we hire, they be able to relate to us and see our vision for our day. From our first conversation on the phone to the day we met and even to this day, she has been 100% in sync with us. There is no way I would ever consider working with another event planner for anything. Her services are very reasonable in price, if anything she is worth much more! She not only keeps you sane but makes sure every aspect of your wedding is perfect. There is no real way to describe fully what an asset she is! You will not regret hiring her, not for a second!

Working with Olivia for our wedding was truly the best investment. If you are looking for trusted month-of-coordination services, you need to work with Dear My Event. Olivia handled everything from creating and managing our wedding timeline, executing seamless communication with our venue and vendors, conducting our rehearsal, and so much more. Her and her assistant also set up so much of our reception decor on the day of— from our welcome table, to the guest tables, and even our seating chart. They even bustled my dress in between our ceremony and reception! We are so thankful to Olivia for her extreme attention to detail and running everything so smoothly behind the scenes. Your wedding day will be in excellent hands with Dear My Event!

Qiana did an excellent job in so many ways to make our wedding wonderful! First, she advised us how to save and pay for our budget, DIY wedding from the beginning so that we would not be overwhelmed with the wedding costs. Following her advise led us to pay all vendors before the wedding, which made them very excited to work with us. Also our theme was "Up South" because many of our family members and friends were coming from the deep south up to Washington, DC, which is still the South too. Qiana's extensive experience with Southern and DC culture helped us to create this theme from our wedding and reception decorations to the food we served. Qiana also worked well with our non-traditional wedding and reception venue, Howard University. Leading up the wedding Qiana was willing and able to meet often to discuss details. The week of the wedding she completely took over and contacted all vendors and dealt with them on the wedding day and before in addition to managing my hostesses to complete all decorations for a noon wedding!

Asking Grace to be our planner may have been the single best decision we made in the course of our wedding planning process. We found Grace through a friend, and are immensely grateful for that referral. We would 100% recommend Grace to anyone else getting married. When we first started our wedding-planning journey, COVID was nowhere on the horizon, and so we didn't know how integral Grace would be in navigating the twists and turns that 2020 would throw our way. In the early stages, Grace's guidance was pivotal in helping us to find the most beautiful venue and a host of spectacular vendors, all while keeping to our budget. Her creative recommendations, personal connections, and industry knowledge helped us to save money in ways we never could have on our own, while ensuring we never sacrificed on quality. She provided peace of mind as we reviewed contracts, made aesthetic decisions, and finalized the major event details. Leading up to and including the big day itself, Grace went above and beyond to keep us happy and on track in the midst of COVID. She dealt with last minute curveballs with extreme grace (pun intended!), and provided a level of assurance that let us enjoy our wedding to the fullest. The wedding itself went beautifully, with Grace and her assistant orchestrating every detail to perfection, and we couldn't have been more elated. If you're planning a wedding, even if you're uncertain if you "need" a planner or not, hire Grace!

Leah with "A Vogue Affair" was a breath of fresh air when it came to all of the hectic preparation that went into planning our wedding. She came highly recommended from a good friend and went above and beyond to exceed our expectations. She was extremely efficient and professional in dealing with our multiple vendors (catering, flowers, venue, photographer, etc.) and her attention to detail was spot on in creating what we had envisioned for our perfect day. For the quality of service Leah provided along with her upbeat positive attitude, it was a phenomenal investment. We recommend Leah to any and all friends and family that mention weddings! Effervescent presentation on taming your inner lizard. Many great tips regarding motivations leading to poor reactions by individuals - and how to adjust the lizard's reaction for a more quality co-existence. Fresh approach to an age old issue. Very vibrant speaker. Great personality and empathy toward her audience. I highly recommend.

It was a pleasure working with Laura to plan our wedding, and she was very detailed and organized throughout the entire process. On the day of the wedding, she and her team were instrumental in ensuring that everything ran smoothly. Highly recommended!

There are a lot of good wedding planners in DC; people who plan beautiful evenings, people who think of every little detail- but I’m convinced there are none like Krystin. Krystin is professional, creative, fun, a total boss, and most importantly, keeps the couple’s best interest/needs/wants as her top priority. She is hands down the best wedding planner I could have ever wished for as we planned a wedding amidst multiple life changes happening at once (including moving cross country). I’ll start with the most obvious about Krystin if you were to look at her website or Instagram- her impeccable taste and eye for what looks beautiful together. She has a natural ability to translate your vision into reality- she listens and takes the time to build your wedding from the ground up. Her approach works like this- you complete a design questionnaire and she gets a sense of what you and your partner are envisioning. She takes what you say and starts to mood board everything- colors, potential flowers, lighting, etc. Each bi weekly or weekly meeting you have with her, you work with Krystin on each detail… since we had partial planning, we took on some tasks and she took on others. It was completely doable for both my husband and I even though we have very busy jobs. She kept us on task and on time for every little detail, and as it approached the big day, her and her team swooped in to take care of last minute things. Her team was professional and talented from the moment we met them. I cannot say enough good things about them. Caitlyn is the GOAT. Most importantly, Krystin is someone you can trust to be on your side from the day you hire her. She was not just a wedding planner to us; she was our friend, therapist, enforcer, protector, and so much more. She shielded us from stressful issues with a couple of vendors and dealt with family drama like a total champ; even though I'm sure our family weighed on her at times, she never lost composure and remained professional and smiling the entire time. If I could have paid Krystin triple what I did, I would have. You cannot go wrong with her and her team- they are A+++, 5 stars, creme de la creme
