Tux + Tulle

Jacob was an outstanding day-of wedding coordinator for our special day. When trying to choose the right person, my fiance was very involved in the process. For me, it was all about finding someone I could relinquish control to and trust to get everything handled without my having to be involved at all. For my fiance, it was about finding someone he could be comfortable enough around on our big day, someone that could blend into the woodwork of an intimate event. Jacob was the one person we found who met both of our needs.

On the big day, there were three problems that arose which made Jacob invaluable to our plans. The first problem was handled before I even became aware of it - that's how seamlessly he coordinated things. There was a shortage of seating due to RSVP inconsistencies, and of course the people standing ended up being people whose health dictated they needed to sit. Using charm and determination, Jacob made seating available to them, and I had no idea there had even been a problem. The second problem involved two mildly inebriated neighbors showed up with their dog in tow to our outdoor wedding just before it began, insisting on seeing the bride before the ceremony. They almost made it in thanks to the photographer, but Jacob firmly and calmly stopped them, kept them calm, and ushered them away. When talking later, we discovered none of the guests had had any inkling the men and dog had even been there! And the third problem went down pretty similarly - I forgot my bouquet! I had to stop just before walking down the aisle. I tried to tell the photographer as the closest person nearby, but she just wouldn't pick up what I was saying. I was just getting ready to turn around and grab it myself when Jacob had it in my hands. Another hiccup that the guests had genuinely no idea had even happened thanks to him.

Weddings are stressful, and I'm so, so happy I had Jacob there on my big day to handle that stress for me. He coordinated so much between three settings and throughout the entire day, from literal morning until night, and he went above and beyond my expectations for a seamless event. I truly cannot recommend him enough for any part of your special day!

Jacob was the wedding coordinator for our fall wedding. Starting out, my husband and I felt totally lost in choosing vendors, organizing the wedding day, and budget-related concerns. We hired Jacob and it was like coming up for air. He tackled all of these things (and more) with ease and great communication. He was organized and on top of even the smallest of details. He worked so much behind the scenes and never exuded any anxiety or stress about the wedding. He provided options for us (like lighting specifics, caterers, etc) and was flexible with our needs.
