We hired Michelle Hayes as our day-of wedding coordinator because our venue required one — but working with her turned out to be one of the best decisions we made for our big day. Even though my husband and I handled most of the planning ourselves, Michelle went above and beyond to make everything come together seamlessly.

From the start, she was professional, warm, and incredibly detail-oriented. Her services were also a great value — very affordable compared to many other coordinators we looked into in the VA/MD area.

Michelle was available for walkthroughs and held weekly or biweekly check-ins leading up to the wedding, which helped us stay organized and on track. She coordinated with all our vendors, managed the timing of entrances for the wedding party and our families, and even helped us set up an enormous Pittsburgh cookie table (which was no small task!).

She also asked insightful questions that we hadn’t even considered, helping us avoid potential hiccups and making sure we didn’t miss any important details. On the wedding day itself, we were able to truly relax and be present, knowing she had everything handled.

I cannot say enough good things about Michelle Hayes and the service she provided as our wedding coordinator! She went above and beyond her contracted duties for our two-day wedding celebration. She was incredibly helpful in the months leading up to our events, assisting with vendor communication and other planning tasks. Michelle was a godsend of a Day of Coordinator. From our first intake call, I knew I had made the right choice. Every step of the way her expertise made the process of organizing the wedding a breeze. From establishing a great timeline (and seamless adapting it when aspects of the wedding ran longer than the expected), corralling my husband and I's family for the rehearsal m, fitting all our decorations in her car, setting up the decorations so beautifully, organizing the procession, to tracking down my mother for the cake cutting, every time I asked for some from Michelle she delivered. I can not recommend her enough as a day of coordinator!

We can’t say enough good things about Michelle! From the very first moment we spoke, we knew we were in good hands. During the months leading up to the big day, she checked in on us monthly, made sure we were doing okay, and helped us keep tracking of the miscellaneous wedding things like a container for our guest book playing cards. On the day of our wedding, everything went so smoothly, thanks to her meticulous planning and attention to detail. Michelle was on top of every little thing, making sure everything was set up perfectly and running on time. We were able to completely relax and enjoy my day because we knew she had everything under control. She coordinated with the vendors seamlessly and kept everyone on schedule. She communicated our vision flawlessly to our florist (who she helped us find!). Every time we needed something, she was right there anticipating everything! Our families were all impressed by how organized and calm they were throughout the day!

Michelle was fantastic! About a month before the wedding I realized there would be quite a few moving pieces so decided to look for a day-of coordinator on short notice. Michelle was very responsive and immediately up for the task. She was very flexible with evening calls and asked great questions to make sure we were on the same page. She was helpful throughout the rehearsal and on the day of the wedding everything went off without a single hitch! My mother-in-law was also very grateful for the last minute help with the cookie table.

Michelle was kind, organized, responsive, and efficient. Would hire her again and recommend her to anyone in a heartbeat!

We hired Michelle for her partial planning services, and we're very happy we did! Michelle was very pleasant and easy to communicate with throughout our wedding planning process. She was professional on all of our phone calls, at our walkthrough, and on the day of. Michelle offered great advice, especially regarding flowers, which we DIY'ed, and she really made our vision come to life with our center pieces, arbor, and wine barrel arrangements.

Michelle was an absolute pleasure to work with. She was accommodating to all of the changes that happened day of due to the weather and was quick to make sure everything was accounted for and fixed to make things less stressful. She knew what was needed and was always on top of everything to make sure things went smoothly leading into the wedding and that all the vendors were on the correct time tables as well! Id absolutely reccomend her to anyone who needs a wonderful affordable wedding planner!

Michelle was amazing for our wedding! The perfect day of coordinator, she was very present and communicative while also being calm and relaxed.
