I don't even know where to begin! We worked with Natalie and her team for more than 2 years. The pandemic threw a wrench into our Italian wedding plans, leading Natalie to have to plan 3 different weddings for us! My husband and I hired her because we know we don't have the patience, knowledge, or time to plan the wedding we wanted. Natalie was patient the entire time, shared her expertise at every step of the way, and made our experience personalized. She found ways for us to save money where we needed it and also found the best of the things we cared the most about. She truly brought to life the ideas we struggled to articulate. She even came with me to my final dress fitting and hid a surprise tiny statue of our dog on our cake. Natalie helped us when we had to move our wedding to the U.S. and helped us recreate our Italian dreams here. When it rained and was freezing day of (in a climate where it rarely rains or drops below 70!) she moved every part of our wedding indoors and made it beautiful. No one would have known that it wasn't the original plan. I'm not confident that we even would have ended up having a wedding if it wasn't for Natalie. We probably would have given up 6 months in and ended up at a courthouse. I'm so grateful to her and can't recommend her enough!!

If we could give Vanessa from Little Black Book 10/5 stars, we would. Truly, hiring her was the best decision we made for the whole wedding, and we credit her with our sanity this year. We had to move our wedding date up due to some family dynamics, and she didn't miss a beat making everything happen on a tighter timeline. She kept us moving through decisions at a steady clip and was great at gauging when we were getting overwhelmed versus when we wanted to dive deeper into the details on something. She was also patient when it took us a while to land on certain decisions (like the venue), and never made us feel rushed or pressured. Whenever I got worried, she was quick to set up a call, always calmed me down, and gave me confidence in a solution. One thing that really stood out was how Vanesa engaged both me and my now-husband throughout the process. She paid attention to what was important to each of us and made sure we both felt heard. We also always felt like we could trust her, and she was never trying to upsell us or push us toward pricier options. Her recommendations always felt like they were genuinely in our best interest, which made a huge difference. Vanessa both listens to your vision and is staggeringly competent at implementing it. She has a great network of vendors, many of whom were clearly excited to be working with her again, which tells you a lot. She led the whole vendor team through the weekend without a hitch and we didn't have to lift a finger. No matter what came up that weekend, she somehow kept a completely cool head, which really set the tone for everyone else to just relax and enjoy. Even my friends commented on how impressed they were with Vanessa, and this is a group of type-A DC girls, so compliments on competence are not given lightly. I'd heard horror stories from friends who had bad planner experiences and I honestly feel incredibly lucky that we found someone so exceptional. If we had to give just one piece of post-wedding advice, it would be to allocate some of your budget to a planner and then hire LBB.

Great value compared to an American wedding and so extraordinary unique. This team was able to combine their knowledge of the French culture and language and the necessary local contacts, with an understanding of American wedding traditions and sensibilities. . As I said - it was magical and an amazing value.

I’ve partnered with Mari on several projects for my custom menswear business in both New York and Washington, DC — and I honestly wish I had met her when I was planning my own wedding. Mari is incredibly creative, super professional, and a true joy to work with. She consistently puts the needs of her couples first, and it’s obvious she genuinely loves what she does. Kim is truly one-of-a-kind. She creates the most romantic designs with layers of dreamy details that feel so personal and customized, and I was blown away with how she prioritized guest experience as well! The level of thought and intention that is put into every single last element of a wedding day is truly remarkable. And it's all done with a sense of ease and a smile on her face; her kindness is infectious! Michele was absolutely AMAZING. I got in touch with her quite a few months before our wedding. Whenever I had a logistics question during the final months of planning, she was quick to respond and always had the answer. When it got to the actual month and weeks before the wedding, she was beyond amazing. The week of the wedding, she met with my mom, fiance, and me to go over final details and to finalize an incredibly detailed day-of schedule. She contacted all of the vendors to make sure that everyone was on the same page and that they knew the schedule. I didn't realize how much work that would be until I saw everything that she was doing. She was also a wonderful presence at the rehearsal, keeping us all on track and making sure that the wedding party knew what they were doing the next day. Michele goes above and beyond. She is sweet and firm when talking to vendors. It was really helpful to know that I had someone who was going to make sure that everything went the way we wanted it to. I will absolutely be recommending her to everyone that I know who is getting married anywhere in the region. hiring her was one of the best decisions that we made for our wedding. She let me enjoy the final days of preparation and enjoy being a bride, instead of going crazy with all of the details. I can't thank her enough.
