Betsy was wonderful with our wedding planning! She was fun, helpful, responsive, and thought of so many details we hadn't. She was very invested in our vision and those early meetings were essential to talking through all the moving parts. Having her help really made the planning process and the day of the wedding low stress. She was helpful and supportive with brainstorming and any changes we wanted. Her timeline was perfect and I knew we were in good hands for everything to come together smoothly. We could not have done this without her! Betsy is really sweet and experienced and it was all around a pleasure to work with her. She recommended some great vendors too that we loved working with. Ms. Betsy is such an amazing outstanding wedding planner! She went above and beyond for us and always kept everything together!! Betsy handled everything with kindness, efficiency, and a personal touch. Our wedding was out-of-town, so we really needed planner local to the DC area. She helped us make plans, find vendors, manage the event, and just everything we could ask for. For us the wedding was just a happy day with no stress.

I’m not usually the type who writes reviews, but Betsy Lanning, of Betcom Weddings & Events did such an amazing job with my son’s wedding, I feel compelled to write this! Every detail of the wedding was anticipated and executed with precision. Betsy thought of everything. And she listened to the bride & groom and their ideas. She made their visions come to life, and offered expertise & direction when they needed it…all the time keeping the budget in check. Her vendor recommendations were the best, and saved us money, too. She considered our budget and the couple’s vision for their big day, and wove it into such a beautiful event. No mishaps or unanticipated problems. All we had to do was show up and celebrate the joy!

Betsy was incredible! She was such a resource throughout our wedding planning from helping us find an amazing caterer to liaising and helping us organize the timing of our special day. I can't recommend Betsy highly enough. The entire wedding planning process was mostly painless, in large part because Betsy helped to handle everything behind the scenes. From music to food to decorations, Betsy either knew off hand who to contact or quickly found people to suit our needs. It went off perfectly and I can't recommend her highly enough.

Betsy is the DREAM wedding planner! She has a killer vendor referral list, is highly organized, reliable, and so fun to be around. We worked with Betsy for 8 months leading up to our wedding and enjoyed every minute of it. We had no idea what we were doing and she guided us through every step, including helping us prioritize when things could have easily gotten overwhelming. She also knew our budget and helped us pick vendors and make decisions that kept costs manageable. In the days leading up to the wedding, we could rest easy knowing that things were in Betsy's extremely capable hands. Our wedding itself was absolutely perfect and every vendor Betsy recommended was a rock star who gave 110% on our big day. We cannot recommend Betsy enough. We only wish we'd found her sooner!
