I had very high standards for a wedding coordinator. I interviewed several, and while they seemed very professional and capable, something did not feel right. The first time I talked to Faten, I knew she was the perfect fit for my personality and wedding vision. I signed the contract immediately after interviewing her, and it was one of the best decisions I made in my wedding planning process. When I tell you nothing went wrong on my wedding day, big or small, I mean NOT A SINGLE THING! It was genuinely perfect, and every single thing went according to plan. A few specific examples: Faten set up all my vendor schedules for me, including hair, makeup, photography, and transportation for the morning of the wedding. Everything was perfectly on schedule, to the point where I was early to my own wedding! And I was completely stress-free and unplugged the entire morning. I also had a Catholic mass wedding, photos in a second location, then the reception in a third location, but everything ran completely smoothly and stayed on schedule because of Faten's flexibility and experience. Faten also did my (complicated!) bustle for me during dinner with no practice after I forgot to have my sister do it after we took photos, snuck my husband and I into the venue and upstairs so we could have a dramatic surprise entrance (which was her amazing idea, btw), and was entirely flexible when I decided during the wedding to have a longer receiving line and come to the reception later. I could give a million more examples like this. Also, I didn't even mention the amount of photos and videos her team was able to capture too (over 200!)! I never expected that from them, and it was an amazing surprise the next day.

Faten was also amazing during the planning process -- she was incredibly organized, responsive, and had a million good ideas. I literally took the bar exam two weeks before I got married, and was still far less stressed than many of my friends who had planned a wedding, because Faten kept everything on track. I would think of something random, like vendor meals, and text her about it, only for her to respond immediately and say it was already handled!

I can't recommend Faten enough. I told her after the wedding I'm happy to be a reference for her, so if you want to chat me, feel free to ask her for my contact information. I've told my own engaged friends to hire Faten's team, and would tell anyone in the world they're making a mistake to go anywhere else. So many people remarked how wonderful the guest experience was at my wedding as well, so your guests will be very happy too. If you don't hire Events by Faten, you will regret it!

Faten went out of her way to accommodate all our DIY projects for the wedding and made the wedding planning process so much smoother for us. She is also very responsive and frequently communicated with all the vendors, which took a lot of stress off our shoulders.

Faten handled the details of my daughter’s brunch wedding at the Reagan Bldg in DC. Over the weeks leading up to the wedding, I could hear the confidence in my daughter’s voice that everything was going to be perfect. Faten understood her vision and was prepared to make it a reality! Fast forward to the big day, where Faten and her assistant had everything covered. Whenever I got ready to chip in to help that morning I would hear this calm and reassuring voice “we got this momma. this is what we do. just enjoy the day”. Faten allowed me to be so incredibly present the entire day which is something I will always treasure! She seamlessly worked with the venue and the other vendors to create an experience that was everything and more! I highly recommend Faten to help turn your dream day into reality.

Faten and her team were so helpful throughout the entire wedding planning process! She was so quick to respond to any questions we had and made sure that our day was exactly as we pictured it (maybe better). Even though it felt like the windiest day of the year she found a way to make sure nothing blew away. It was a pleasure to work with Faten and we would highly recommend her and her team to couples getting married!!

Faten was absolutely amazing! From the minute she came on board, she took charge of all the vendors and details, repositioned us where needed, and handled everything so smoothly till the very end. We had so many constraints that day - protests, other big events near the venue, traffic but she stayed calm and focused through it all (unlike me! 😅).
The whole wedding ran like clockwork thanks to her. She managed every moment down to the second and made sure everything flowed perfectly from start to finish. We couldn’t have asked for a better coordinator.

My now-husband and I were stressed through the roof when the wedding coordinator that we were going to book ghosted us (thankfully before we signed or paid a deposit). It ended up being the best thing to happen to us, because as I frantically searched for somebody else who checked all of our boxes (esp. local and coordinates events themself). Faten was everything that we hoped for in a month-of coordinator, and then some. If I reached out worried about reaching out to a vendor to fill them in on a detail, Faten would reassure me that it was already done. There was a lot of behind-the-scenes work she did in the weeks leading up to our wedding. When the week-of stress of last minute details was worrying us, Faten was there to reassure us that she would handle it. When everyone ended up running way behind schedule for our rehearsal, Faten reassured us that we could still cover everything to make it in time to our rehearsal dinner. The day of our wedding, everyone from my mother to our vendors all raved about Faten (from how incredibly communicative and sweet she was, to the fact that she was on-top of everything). She even helped throw in some free décor on-the-house and helped us work out transportation for our rehearsal dinner and off-site wedding party shoot. Don't walk, run to book Faten NOW!

I was on the fence about hiring a wedding coordinator because, as someone who has planned large events in the past, I thought I could handle it myself. However, I quickly realized that we definitely needed one. There were so many moving parts, and the stress was getting real.

We hired Faten because she was familiar with our venue and had amazing reviews online, and she ended up doing a fantastic job for our wedding! You can count on her to make sure everything runs on time throughout the day, and she has an incredible eye for detail. She’ll also be there to calm your nerves and capture moments on video so you don’t miss a thing.

All in all, my number one advice is to hire a day-of wedding coordinator, and when you do, go with Faten :)

I came upon Faten through sheer browsing. I interviewed her and we hit it off immediately. I was very happy with her work. Professional, efficient, friendly and passionate about weddings is how I describe her. You sit back, relax and let her take over.

Pros: Establishes timelines, constant communication, check ins and makes solid recommendations when your decision-spent. She takes charge and I like that style.

Con: Book her early because she is a busy lady.
