Faten went out of her way to accommodate all our DIY projects for the wedding and made the wedding planning process so much smoother for us. She is also very responsive and frequently communicated with all the vendors, which took a lot of stress off our shoulders. -

Faten and her team were so helpful throughout the entire wedding planning process! She was so quick to respond to any questions we had and made sure that our day was exactly as we pictured it (maybe better). Even though it felt like the windiest day of the year she found a way to make sure nothing blew away. Faten was absolutely amazing! From the minute she came on board, she took charge of all the vendors and details, repositioned us where needed, and handled everything so smoothly till the very end. We had so many constraints that day - protests, other big events near the venue, traffic but she stayed calm and focused through it all (unlike me! 😅).
The whole wedding ran like clockwork thanks to her. She managed every moment down to the second and made sure everything flowed perfectly from start to finish. We couldn’t have asked for a better coordinator.
Already looking forward to having her onboard again for our other son’s wedding next year — wouldn’t do it without her! 💕

My now-husband and I were stressed through the roof when the wedding coordinator that we were going to book ghosted us (thankfully before we signed or paid a deposit). It ended up being the best thing to happen to us, because as I frantically searched for somebody else who checked all of our boxes (esp. local and coordinates events themself). Faten was everything that we hoped for in a month-of coordinator, and then some. If I reached out worried about reaching out to a vendor to fill them in on a detail, Faten would reassure me that it was already done. There was a lot of behind-the-scenes work she did in the weeks leading up to our wedding. When the week-of stress of last minute details was worrying us, Faten was there to reassure us that she would handle it. When everyone ended up running way behind schedule for our rehearsal, Faten reassured us that we could still cover everything to make it in time to our rehearsal dinner. The day of our wedding, everyone from my mother to our vendors all raved about Faten (from how incredibly communicative and sweet she was, to the fact that she was on-top of everything). She even helped throw in some free décor on-the-house and helped us work out transportation for our rehearsal dinner and off-site wedding party shoot. Don't walk, run to book Faten NOW! -

I was on the fence about hiring a wedding coordinator because, as someone who has planned large events in the past, I thought I could handle it myself. However, I quickly realized that we definitely needed one. There were so many moving parts, and the stress was getting real.
We hired Faten because she was familiar with our venue and had amazing reviews online, and she ended up doing a fantastic job for our wedding! You can count on her to make sure everything runs on time throughout the day, and she has an incredible eye for detail. She’ll also be there to calm your nerves and capture moments on video so you don’t miss a thing.
All in all, my number one advice is to hire a day-of wedding coordinator, and when you do, go with Faten :) -

Faten was our day-of coordinator for our wedding at Meadowlark Botanical Garden, and we truly couldn’t have asked for a better experience.
My wife and I couldn’t stop talking about how grateful we were that everything went exactly as we had planned. We fully expected a few hiccups throughout the day—but there were none. And if there were any behind the scenes, Faten handled them so smoothly that we were completely oblivious and able to enjoy our wedding stress-free.
A huge part of that success was thanks to Faten’s incredible attention to detail. She was always organized, proactive, and helped guide us every step of the way to make sure nothing slipped through the cracks. When vendor communication got overwhelming or details felt unresolved, she quickly stepped in—whether it was by reaching out herself or offering thoughtful suggestions to ease our minds.
Her experience also proved invaluable when it came to structuring our wedding day timeline. We didn’t have a clear vision at first, but Faten came prepared with ideas and insight that helped us understand what we wanted and how to make it all happen.

We are SO thankful for Faten. She went absolutely above and beyond to make our wedding day perfect and stress free. She started working with us about 6 weeks before the wedding, and managed communication with our vendors. Her organization helped everything go smoothly, and when we did have a minor problem with one vendor on the day of, she not only came up with a solution she also got us a refund afterwards while we were on our honeymoon.
She took time to introduce herself to our wedding party and parents so they had a point of contact and knew what was going on, and she made both of us feel so loved, special, and supported throughout the process and on the day of. She also took little videos and photos throughout, which was a cute and special complement to our official wedding photos. We would highly recommend Faten to every person planning a wedding in the DMV. -

What can I say about Faten other than that choosing her was the best decision we made for our wedding?
In short: if you want your dream wedding to come to life and actually enjoy the day you’ve meticulously planned, Events by Faten is your answer. Faten will go above and beyond to bring your vision to reality, making it even more magical than you imagined. If you are lucky enough to have the option of getting her on board for your event, do not hesitate for a moment.
To give you more insight: My husband and I debated for a long time whether we really needed a Day-of Coordinator for our wedding. We had already put so much effort into planning and had an excellent venue coordinator who was prepared to handle many aspects of the day. However, the unanimous advice we received was to hire a Day-of Coordinator to ensure everything went off without a hitch. We’re so glad we took that advice!
From our very first interaction with Faten, her expertise, enthusiasm, and attention to detail were evident. It was clear immediately that we needed her on our team. She responded to every question we had with lightning speed and anticipated needs we hadn’t even considered.
On our wedding day, Faten was nothing short of exceptional. She managed the wedding party, coordinated the ceremony and reception timelines, and ensured all vendors were on track. Thanks to her seamless coordination, my husband and I were free to relax and truly enjoy the day. Our guests kept commenting on how happy they were to see us having fun and how lucky we were that we actually had the chance to eat dinner and mingle with all our friends and family.
We felt like guests at our own wedding, confident that Faten was diligently working behind the scenes to make sure everything was perfect. Faten did an outstanding job as our day-of wedding coordinator. During the planning phase she was organized, responsive and knowledgeable and did a great job coordinating with our vendors and helping us create our timeline. She maintained a good balance between reflecting what we wanted and making suggestions for things we had not thought of. On the wedding day she took care of all the details and calmly dealt with unexpected changes so that we could enjoy the day. She was well prepared and did a great job getting people to where they needed to be while also being very attentive to the bride and groom. Faten made our day absolutely wonderful and I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a wedding coordinator.

I could not have had such a beautiful and successful wedding without Faten. From the moment I reached out to her during my search for a wedding coordinator to even after the wedding, she’s been so amazing! Her organization and communication skills along with her ability to get things done helped make my life stress free during my wedding event. Even when things didn’t go as planned, such as me forgetting my flower bouquet, she quickly put together a flower bouquet for me that was more beautiful than my original bouquet!! Perfect college sweetheart wedding in DC with Faten
My wife and I travel a lot, and so finding times to visit vendors and track the many small decisions was a huge challenge. Thankfully Faten took control of coordinating timing details, vendor relations, and all important day-of assistance. We had an uncomfordable ride unfortunately because the AC wasn't working in the Limo, but Faten got us a refund! It was magical wedding that took the bridal party to four locations, and Faten executed our plans perfectly. "Best wedding so far" are what my aunts are saying :) THANK YOU FATEN

Faten and Events by Faten was a dream to work with. From the initial consultation call to the day of the event Faten ensured that everything went smoothly without a hitch and overall that my husband and I were happy with everything. Faten took the time to listen to any ideas we had, respected items and traditions we did not want for our wedding and had the utmost patients with us navigating this process where we were unsure. She was able to take our various ideas, incorporating our own sense of style and vision cultivating it into a beautiful ceremony that was exactly what we were unable to put into words. She used her amazing network of vendors to help us choose a catering service, bakery, DJ, and photographer that both works with our budget and are aligned with our overall theme for our event. There was not any step in the process where we had any doubts or felt left out of the information loop. She remained professional and organized throughout this entire process, which we both very much appreciated as adding the stress of wedding planning to our already hectic lives would have been a nightmare. Faten accompanied us to all of our venue viewings and tastings gathering more ideas for our wedding as well as offering much-appreciated input. Truly she made this feel less like a business transaction coordinating an event and more comfortable like old friends planning a wedding. There was never a lack of communication as we had several email threads, phone calls, or in-person meetups to go over progress status, where we stood within our budget, what was needed to book or review giving us ample opportunity to ask any questions, make any suggestions or voice any concerns. Through these encounters, she learned more and more about our personalities which helped her pull together a wedding that was unique to who we are as a couple. Through the important process of finding our ceremony and reception venue she really listened and cared to what we wanted and was able to select venues that fit perfectly with our vision, in the end finding one that both met our wants as well as within our budget. She was very mindful of our budget and was always on point in keeping us in the know when we were nearing our specified cap, and if we were going to go over by how much and if there was anything we could change or omit if we weren’t inclined to go over. She put in the extensive time, effort, and research into putting together a memorable night for us and the wedding hadn’t even happened yet! She was nothing short of exceptional come our wedding day coordination everyone in the chaos, making sure everything was absolutely perfect, and most importantly everyone was happy (as much as anyone person can please everyone). Most importantly, she made me feel at ease and I didn’t worry about anything as I knew this day was in the most capable hands. Our wedding turned out better than I could have ever imagined, and I could not have chosen a better person to be my wedding planner. The care, consideration, and compassion she puts into her job, my wedding, and likely any event that she coordinates is nothing short of perfect, you can tell she absolutely loves making dreams come true. I even received many compliments from my family for the wonderful job she had done, there was high praise all around for Ms. Faten. I can not recommend her enough, and while I don’t plan on getting married again, should I have any other big events that need to be coordinated she is my definite go-to. I used Events by Faten for the Day of Coordinator package. Overall: Faten is friendly, knowledgeable, professional, and punctual! She brought my visions to life and made our big day so much less stressful! I was able to spend my special day dancing the night away and not worrying about staying on schedule or vendors.
*Pre-wedding: Faten met with me for a consultation to review my needs and also provided vendor recommendations. While I had my decor selected, Faten helped me with those final touches and make decisions between things I was debating! She joined me at my final walk-through with the venue, had additional questions to ask the venue to help make the day smoother for us and other vendors.
