I could probably speak for eons about how much I love Kadzo and her team for how they showed up for my husband and I. We only had 2 weeks until our wedding when our previous coordinator had to drop our contract due to a sudden loss in the family. Of course we totally understood that, but it put us in a bind. My husband and I planned pretty much everything ourselves, but we didn’t want to be pulled in a million different directions on the day of the wedding so we knew that a coordinator was an absolute must. So I scrambled on The Knot to find someone who could help us coordinate the day of the wedding. I found Fairy Godmother Events there and messaged them. Kadzo replied so fast and we had a call booked asap. I knew right away that she was the perfect choice for us because she was asking me detailed questions that the previous coordinator didn’t even ask me. I found myself speechless because she found inconsistencies in our planning that we never even considered. Mind you: this is, again, the week before my wedding so we seriously had to lock in and follow her recommendations if we wanted to have a smooth wedding. She whipped us into shape (respectfully of course) and gave us direct insight on what was needed for the day to go well. So we got to work and tied up as many loose ends as we could. In the end, the only things we forgot were the guest book and the basket for the flower girl. But when I tell you everything, and I mean EVERYTHING, else was perfect, it was truly our dream wedding and I know it wouldn’t have been anywhere close to that amazing without Kadzo and her team. As with most couples, we were feeling the nerves the day before the wedding. But when the day came, Kadzo and her team did an INCREDIBLE job with keeping us at ease and making sure we stayed on track with the timeline.
We hired Kadzo as the day-of coordinator but she helped a ton with all the questions we had prior to the wedding. She provided solid advice and suggestions and overall did an amazing job with all the preparations prior to the wedding. Looking back, I do appreciate the level of effort that she and her team put in behind the scenes and I don't think we could have hired a better team. 10/10, I would highly recommend Kadzo and her team!

We had such a wonderful experience with Fairy Godmother Events, especially working with Kadzo and Niassa! Kadzo was our main point of contact and was absolutely amazing throughout the planning process. She made sure we had a clear schedule and helped keep everything organized leading up to and throughout our wedding day.

On the big day, Kadzo was such a reassuring presence. She helped with setup, kept everything moving according to schedule, and made sure we knew what was happening so we could actually relax and enjoy our wedding. One thing we especially appreciated was how intentional she was about giving us little moments of seclusion and privacy between wedding events. Those small moments gave us a chance to take everything in together before moving on to the next part of the day, and they meant so much to us.

Niassa was also fantastic! She did a great job running our rehearsal and was incredibly helpful with all of the other wedding-day events and details. Both Kadzo and Niassa were professional, organized, and genuinely supportive throughout the entire experience.

We are so grateful to Fairy Godmother Events for helping our wedding day run so smoothly. Having Kadzo and Niassa there allowed us to focus on celebrating and spending time with our family and friends instead of worrying about logistics. We highly recommend them to any couple looking for wonderful day-of coordination and support!

Kadzo was fantastic to work with – 10/10 would recommend! We opted for her day-of-coordination package, and she made sure our wedding went off without a hitch. The weather forecast was up in the air on our wedding day with a chance of thunderstorms, and she masterfully managed switching our outdoor ceremony setup to indoors at the last minute. I would describe her as a “swan” – graceful, measured, and calm under pressure. She provided such helpful advice and knew how to navigate family dynamics involved with weddings. I felt at peace knowing our celebration would go well with her in charge. We would recommend her to anyone.

It was an absolute pleasure to work with Kadzo and the Fairy Godmother Events team. We opted for partial planning services over a year before our wedding date, and from start to finish, planning with Kadzo was a breeze. Hiring Fairy Godmother Events and Kadzo was the very first decision we made on our wedding planning journey and was by far the BEST decision we could have made for our wedding day and our marriage. For context, we had a multicultural and interfaith indoor/outdoor wedding in September 2025 with about 145 guests.

During the planning stages, Kadzo was always patient and clear about our options, timelines, and the factors to consider with each vendor and decor decision. She kept us organized with a planning portal that included a shared checklist, reminders, a budgeting page, and other helpful tools. She helped us stay on budget (though my husband made that incredibly difficult!) and found creative ways to get the most out of what we were spending. We also wanted to prioritize small businesses where we could, and she always kept that in mind when making recommendations.

Thanks to her guidance, we ended up with the most phenomenal vendor team. I was especially impressed by her ability to find hair and makeup artists who met my needs as a natural-hair (4C) bride who rarely wears makeup.

When it came to day-of coordination, Kadzo was once again amazing. Just before our ceremony, it began to rain unexpectedly. She prioritized our wishes and gave us the space to decide whether to take the risk or switch to the rain plan. When the rain continued, everything transitioned smoothly to our indoor backup plan (despite having only 20 minutes before the ceremony was set to begin). Multiple guests even commented on how well-run the day was and how incredible Kadzo had been. I didn’t have to worry about a thing, and everything felt effortless.

Beyond her professionalism and planning expertise, Kadzo was simply a joy to have at the event. She beamed with happiness as we walked down the aisle and smiled at us from across the room. In those little moments, it truly felt like having another family member there.

I would recommend Kadzo and her team to anyone planning a wedding or hosting an event. She is absolutely phenomenal!

Kadzo was so great to work with from start to finish as our day of coordinator. She was exceptionally helpful as we planned, asking questions that prompted us to make sure every detail was accounted for. We had a few planning calls beforehand, she shared a software where we built out the seating plans, timelines, etc, and she was present for the ceremony rehearsal the day before. On the day of our wedding, Kadzo and Niassa did an incredible job. I had my dream day, everything went so smoothly, and they both have a calm and grounding presence that made me feel so taken care of and at ease throughout the day. We are a queer, trans, and interracial couple with mixed families, and they were respectful of those dynamics from start to finish. Highly recommend Fairy Godmother Events!!!

Kadzo and her team were amazing at supporting me and my husband through our wedding planning process and day(s) of coordination for our 3-day Indian wedding. As my husband and I both work full-time we were nervous about how we were going to manage planning an Indian wedding on top of everything, but Kadzo was truly our fairy godmother. She was able to help us create our Indian wedding events seamlessly and we felt that she understood our every need, sometimes even before we knew what they were! Kadzo was with us every step of the way reminding us of what we were responsible for, what our timeline was, and connecting with us as a couple and as a family with our parents. We had monthly planning calls, a great platform (Aisle planner) where we could track everything, and amazing communication each step of the way. We never felt overwhelmed or out of the loop with Kadzo and her team. She is truly an amazing wedding planner that made us and our parents feel at ease during the planning process and during our wedding events. I cannot recommend her highly enough, if you are looking for someone who is experienced, transparent (no hidden agendas or forced partnerships with vendors for the money! She does not get kick-backs from any of the vendors she uses), meticulous, down-to-earth, realistic, budget-conscious, and just an amazing planner then you will have everything you need and more in Kadzo and her team.

Thanks to Fairy Godmother Events, I was actually able to relax & enjoy my wedding! Working full time, I was completely overwhelmed trying to plan my wedding – with Fairy Godmother Events, I had someone who was able to help me stay on track and find the vendors I needed for our smaller wedding. On the day of the wedding, it looked like the rain had finished & we were excited to be able to hold our ceremony outside – and then 30 minutes before the ceremony started, there was thunder & torrential rain. Kadzo was able to work with the vendors to quickly reset everything inside. It was so seamless our guests had no idea that this was never what we intended and I didn’t have to worry (or try to coordinate while already in my dress & trying to relax before the wedding).

I’m so glad we chose Kadzo, we went with her month-of coordination package which ended up being perfect for us. She helped us make sure all of our planning was on track a month out from our wedding and meeting regularly with her before our wedding helped us stay organized and make sure we didn’t miss anything. It was amazing having her and her assistant with us all day on our wedding day so we didn’t have to worry about a thing, Kadzo made sure everything was set up beautifully and taken care of for us! We would strongly recommend her!

I cannot say enough great things about Niassa and Fairy Godmother Events! They were absolutely amazing from start to finish. Niassa handled everything with incredible care and attention to detail. She even went above and beyond by preparing food for my spouse and me to keep us energized for our wedding photography. She thought of things I hadn’t even considered, which made the entire experience feel completely stress-free. The decorations were stunning, and it felt like she brought our vision to life perfectly. Every single detail was handled flawlessly. I am so grateful for Niassa's professionalism, creativity, and hard work.
