I could probably speak for eons about how much I love Kadzo and her team for how they showed up for my husband and I. We only had 2 weeks until our wedding when our previous coordinator had to drop our contract due to a sudden loss in the family. Of course we totally understood that, but it put us in a bind. My husband and I planned pretty much everything ourselves, but we didn’t want to be pulled in a million different directions on the day of the wedding so we knew that a coordinator was an absolute must. So I scrambled on The Knot to find someone who could help us coordinate the day of the wedding. I found Fairy Godmother Events there and messaged them. Kadzo replied so fast and we had a call booked asap. I knew right away that she was the perfect choice for us because she was asking me detailed questions that the previous coordinator didn’t even ask me. I found myself speechless because she found inconsistencies in our planning that we never even considered. Mind you: this is, again, the week before my wedding so we seriously had to lock in and follow her recommendations if we wanted to have a smooth wedding. She whipped us into shape (respectfully of course) and gave us direct insight on what was needed for the day to go well. So we got to work and tied up as many loose ends as we could. In the end, the only things we forgot were the guest book and the basket for the flower girl. But when I tell you everything, and I mean EVERYTHING, else was perfect, it was truly our dream wedding and I know it wouldn’t have been anywhere close to that amazing without Kadzo and her team. It was an absolute pleasure to work with Kadzo and the Fairy Godmother Events team. We opted for partial planning services over a year before our wedding date, and from start to finish, planning with Kadzo was a breeze. Hiring Fairy Godmother Events and Kadzo was the very first decision we made on our wedding planning journey and was by far the BEST decision we could have made for our wedding day and our marriage. For context, we had a multicultural and interfaith indoor/outdoor wedding in September 2025 with about 145 guests.
During the planning stages, Kadzo was always patient and clear about our options, timelines, and the factors to consider with each vendor and decor decision. She kept us organized with a planning portal that included a shared checklist, reminders, a budgeting page, and other helpful tools. She helped us stay on budget (though my husband made that incredibly difficult!) and found creative ways to get the most out of what we were spending. We also wanted to prioritize small businesses where we could, and she always kept that in mind when making recommendations.
Thanks to her guidance, we ended up with the most phenomenal vendor team. I was especially impressed by her ability to find hair and makeup artists who met my needs as a natural-hair (4C) bride who rarely wears makeup.
When it came to day-of coordination, Kadzo was once again amazing. Just before our ceremony, it began to rain unexpectedly. She prioritized our wishes and gave us the space to decide whether to take the risk or switch to the rain plan. When the rain continued, everything transitioned smoothly to our indoor backup plan (despite having only 20 minutes before the ceremony was set to begin). Multiple guests even commented on how well-run the day was and how incredible Kadzo had been. I didn’t have to worry about a thing, and everything felt effortless.
Beyond her professionalism and planning expertise, Kadzo was simply a joy to have at the event. She beamed with happiness as we walked down the aisle and smiled at us from across the room. In those little moments, it truly felt like having another family member there.
I would recommend Kadzo and her team to anyone planning a wedding or hosting an event. She is absolutely phenomenal! -

Kadzo and her team were amazing at supporting me and my husband through our wedding planning process and day(s) of coordination for our 3-day Indian wedding. As my husband and I both work full-time we were nervous about how we were going to manage planning an Indian wedding on top of everything, but Kadzo was truly our fairy godmother. She was able to help us create our Indian wedding events seamlessly and we felt that she understood our every need, sometimes even before we knew what they were! Kadzo was with us every step of the way reminding us of what we were responsible for, what our timeline was, and connecting with us as a couple and as a family with our parents. We had monthly planning calls, a great platform (Aisle planner) where we could track everything, and amazing communication each step of the way. We never felt overwhelmed or out of the loop with Kadzo and her team. She is truly an amazing wedding planner that made us and our parents feel at ease during the planning process and during our wedding events. I cannot recommend her highly enough, if you are looking for someone who is experienced, transparent (no hidden agendas or forced partnerships with vendors for the money! She does not get kick-backs from any of the vendors she uses), meticulous, down-to-earth, realistic, budget-conscious, and just an amazing planner then you will have everything you need and more in Kadzo and her team. -

Thanks to Fairy Godmother Events, I was actually able to relax & enjoy my wedding! Working full time, I was completely overwhelmed trying to plan my wedding – with Fairy Godmother Events, I had someone who was able to help me stay on track and find the vendors I needed for our smaller wedding. On the day of the wedding, it looked like the rain had finished & we were excited to be able to hold our ceremony outside – and then 30 minutes before the ceremony started, there was thunder & torrential rain. Kadzo was able to work with the vendors to quickly reset everything inside. It was so seamless our guests had no idea that this was never what we intended and I didn’t have to worry (or try to coordinate while already in my dress & trying to relax before the wedding). -

Kadzo west is amazing!
Kadzo and her team are INCREDIBLE. Seeing your vision come together is one of the best parts of the big day, and Kadzo made it happen. I was a very anxious bride. Kadzo kept me calm and handled all of the concerns that came up. She ran interference with all of our vendors, which worked perfectly during the day so that my husband and I didn't have to worry about a thing. All of my friends and family were so complimentary of Kadzo and her efficient team. If you have the opportunity, hire Kadzo. -

Kadzo, the Head Godmother, was an incredible asset to us, helping figure out the timeline, plan out the seating arrangement, and helping us think through all of our plans at a high level. From the very beginning, she was open, kind, honest, and informative - during the planning process, things could get a bit stressful so having her on our side was incredible. When it came time to have our final walkthrough, rehearsal, Niassa was our assigned coordinator and she was so helpful with everything! She helped guide us the walkthrough, inform us what might go with our themes and colors, and led an incredibly easy and smooth rehearsal. On the day of, we had TWO(!) day of coordinators to help us through the day and it couldn't have been smoother. Niassa and Dymond were incredible and my wife and I were able to be completely in the moment while they handled everything from handing out tips, making sure we ate something, getting us some time alone, and even packing up. Such an incredible experience and I couldn't recommend the whole Fairy Godmother Events team more! -

I hired the FGM team to help assist with day-of coordination. From the beginning, they were super helpful and answered my questions. As the big day got closer, they helped finalize the small details. Kadzo was great at easing my fears/anxiety and assured me she had it handled. My wedding day went off without any issues; the day-of team was very attentive to both my husband and me. They allowed me to relax and not worry about the schedule. Book the FGM team, you won't regret it. -

Worry Free Wedding Day

Initially we were not sure that we needed a day-of coordinator, as we had planned the entire wedding ourselves remotely with the help of our moms and knew most details inside and out. But as soon as we spoke with Kadzo over the phone, we knew we were dealing with a professional who is VERY good at her job. Kadzo said from the outset that her job would be to execute the vision we had carefully planned and to allow us and our loved ones to enjoy the day. And that is exactly what she and her team delivered.
We had two ceremonies and two receptions, basically two weddings, planned in one day, and when we asked Kadzo admitted that this was one of the longest timelines she had worked on. Kadzo has a calm, thoughtful, and reassuring demeanor and has an established workflow with a coordinator dedicated to the wedding party and one dedicated to vendors on the day. She kindly partook in our venue walkthrough with our caterer and moms when we could not travel back for the meeting. She met with us several times over the phone and asked questions about aspects of the wedding we hadn't considered, and helped us tweak our timeline into a smoother and more logical flow. Seeing our complex decor timeline with multiple details handled by family and friends, Kadzo offered the option of adding a third coordinator dedicated solely to decor. We took her up on the offer and never looked back. Kadzo stepped in and helped us reach our caterer when we were having trouble with communications. And when it came time for our rehearsal, she helped run the show and keep us organized.
On our wedding day, Kadzo and her team allowed us as the couple and our moms to relax and enjoy the day, without having to stress over little details. My mom, who otherwise would have had to shoulder the bulk of that burden, has said multiple times that having Kadzo and her co-coordinators there was the best decision we made and that she felt so at ease on the day with the wedding in their capable hands. Kadzo and her team were in constant communication with each other and with our photographer, caterer, and DJ so that timing went according to (and at parts even ahead of) schedule. Our DJ even commented on how easy Kadzo made his job that day. For my part, my husband and I so thoroughly enjoyed our wedding day, we still have no idea of what difficulties or hiccups Kadzo and her team had to deal with to make things run so smoothly.
So for any couples out there wondering whether or not to take the plunge with day-of coordination, hiring Kadzo and her team was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. If you want to be worry-free and able to fully enjoy your wedding day, we would absolutely recommend that you work with Fairy Godmother Events! -

The name says it all. Kadzo and Niassa are an absolute dream team and the way they saved my event was nothing short of an act of magic.
If there are such things as guardian angels, I would not be surprised if Kadzo was secretly one of them. No matter the how great the ask, she took care of it, sometimes before I could even ask it!
I have never met someone so professional and polite that still could get things done from anyone she spoke to! I think I cried more reflecting on how perfect she made the wedding than I did during my own vows.
Without her my DIY wedding would have ended up on one of those wedding disaster/fail shows on TLC no doubt.
We only got the day of coordination package and are absolutely kicking ourselves we didn't invest in the full coordination. DO NOT BE LIKE US. Put your wedding in her hands from jump and watch her work her magic. You will not be disappointed!

Working with Kadzo and her team was amazing. She is extremely professional, but also lets her personality shine. When a situation arises, you can’t feel stress from her demeanor, yet a sense of calmness. It poured on our entire wedding day from sunrise until sunrise the next day, so our outdoor cocktail hour got canceled, she handled communication about that seamlessly and sent her team to buy umbrellas to escort people in and our without me even needing to know. Day of, I didn’t have to worry about anything because I knew I could trust Kadzo. She had 3 other coordinators and they split up to handle communication with the bridal party, the guests, and the vendors. They did a phenomenal job keeping everything on schedule without rushing anything.Fairy Godmother Events's reply:

As many know, there are so so many moving pieces to a wedding. The Bride and Groom usually sweat each detail and wondered if all bases were covered. Kadzo was an absolute dream to work with from beginning to end. I hired her and her team to be a day-of coordinator and decorator and she went above and beyond to make sure my vision was executed perfectly for the wedding. She patiently fielded lots of questions at all hours, and was always responsive and positive. She had great advice and great taste. I was nervous that getting a coordinator would cost an arm and a leg, but it was all very reasonable and well worth the expense. I hired Kadzo as the day of coordinator for my wedding this past weekend. From my initial conversation with Kadzo I had very good vibes. She made me feel comfortable and gave me advice of what to look for in a day of coordinator, even if I chose not to go with her. We had our initial consultation and leading up to the wedding that she was always available by email and/or text in case I had questions or concerns. Or needed advice on something for the wedding. The day of the wedding went so smoothly. Everything was so beautiful. She and her assistant Rachel (whom she included later at no additional charge) were great. They worked well with the day of coordinator that was provided by my venue. I am so thankful to them in helping my make my day perfect. I will definitely use them for future events. -
