Amazing experience!
As soon as I saw pictures of Aquafuzion's work, I knew I had to have them do the florals for my wedding! I fell in love with their style, and fell even more in love after talking with Beverley about our wedding vision. She immediately understood what I was looking for, and was excited to work with us. Since she's the professional, and I'm not, I showed her some inspiration pictures and asked her to do her thing to bring my vision to life. The day of the wedding when I saw how everything came together, I wanted to cry I was so happy! Everything looked even better than I could have imagined. Beverley was a pleasure to work with, and her work was phenomenal. I highly recommend Aquafuzion!As soon as I saw pictures of Aquafuzion's work, I knew I had to have them do the florals for my wedding! I was very happy to work with Aquafuzion for my wedding. They were able to come up with solutions that fit my budget. The centerpieces were elegant and the bridesmaid bouquets were just like the picture I sent. I really appreciated how they itemized everything in their invoice and included pictures/inspiration to clearly showcase how my vision was going to look so there were no surprisesI was very happy to work with Aquafuzion for my wedding. Recommended to us by our harpist Carol Tatum, Michelle Tu of Aquafuzion saved the day! After a traumatic experience with previous wedding planner Michelle of Mele Amore, we did not want to embarrass ourselves further (in working on our wedding with The Ritz-Carlton) by selecting a second rate wedding coordinator.
Aquafuzion was able to assign us a coordinator within the same day that they called us back, and arrange an in-person meeting just 2 days later---unlike Michelle Groom from Mele Amore, who refused even one Skype session when we were her distance clients from Boston with a 6-hr time difference.
After meeting Michelle Tu from Aquafuzion in person at The Ritz-Carlton menu tasting session in California on our visit there in March, we were already confident that we were making a better choice going with Aquafuzion's coordination services. We are glad to say now that we were not wrong after all, because:
1) Michelle Tu of Aquafuzion responded to all our calls and emails within 24 hours, unlike Michelle Groom of Mele Amore who took days, even weeks to get back to us---time we did not have with only 4 months to plan our wedding.
2) Aquafuzion helped us secure a floral budget that was only half the price of what Mele Amore was able to achieve.
3) Aquafuzion executed our wedding according to plan, keeping vendors and the bridal party together and well-fed, and even managing to secure time for us to eat!
4) Aquafuzion went out of their way to meet our needs, including: providing lemons to wash tea cups with for our Tea Ceremony, dressing the wedding cake with 30 paper butterflies, helping to stick individual labels on to ~100 seats for our lawn ceremony, carrying our bridal party's items up to the bridal suite for us, being patient with numerous last minute layout changes requested by family, and so much more...
We are so grateful that Aquafuzion had us smiling all the way to our wedding day! Thank you for your hard work!!

I am so happy that I hired Aquafuzion for my garden wedding. Michelle and Debbie were very professional and it took a lot of stress out especially the last two weeks of the wedding. My bridal party said Michelle was awesome and very organized. Aquafuzion can do everything from the most elegant 5-star wedding, to the most romantic, country wedding. With that said, mine was more the latter than the former.
We thought we would be able to throw the bombest wedding all by ourselves, but at this point last year, we found ourselves overwhelmed and frazzled despite our myriad timelines and worksheets. We were trying to pinch pennies and cover every minute detail possible. The last thing I wanted to do was part with my money and hand over my carefully constructed plans to a planner. But we listened to Debbie and Beverley's reasoning, and yielded to the sensibility that they surrounded us with.
We only paid for the basic package, but we feel like we got the royal treatment. Beverley was our main coordinator, and she was phenomenal.
Before the wedding, she: started working on our wedding the day we hired them; responded to emails within hours, called periodically to see how we were doing, and stayed on top of all the change; sat down multiple times to discuss details; ran our rehearsal; went to the site to do a thorough walk-through (over 1.25 hours away!), coordinated our contracts and payment with other vendors, and turned my ideas and dreams into professional, beautiful reality.
On the day of, she took care of every issue that popped up in a super creative way and kept all of it away from me, the groom, the parentals, the guests. I literally did not have to stress or even think much. My job, because THEY were working instead, was to soak in the most momentous day of my life. I had hired a team of the loveliest, most professional wedding coordinators that exist.
AND THE FLOWERS. SO many posted pictures/comments about how they were the most gorgeous flowers my guests had ever seen! AQF will deliver the quality and beauty that you dream of. Words could not even begin to explain how appreciative we are to Debbie and her team at Aquafuzion!!! They worked really hard in helping us achieve our dream wedding from begining to end. After the wedding, Debbie and her assistants all stayed back to gather all our stuff that was left behind to our rooms. I woke up thinking I lost everything, but there it was all sitting in our rooms!! Debbie is so easy to talk to, work with, and above all she keeps it very professional!! We had Debbie for the entire haul of our engagement - I don't regret that at all. I can't imagine only having day-of, or even month-of ... talking to Debbie whenever things went wrong or when I couldn't remember a thing made me so at ease, and most importantly, at ease on my wedding day!
I worry that this might start into the long rambling love-letters I've written to Debbie to thank her for all she & her team did on my day (& building up), so I'll try my best to be concise.
They did an amazing job getting everything together - all those checklists that you don't have to worry about, and especially building a firm timeline for you to utilize ... those are irreplaceable and definitely different when it's a professional that handles it for you!
They do all the awkward talking you don't want to ... they play bad messenger, or evil stepmom. You may not realize how important this is, but trust me, you'll appreciate it. (Calling a guest that RSVP'd for more than their RSVP card said, calling a vendor to decline services, duking it out with a vendor that's not getting it right) ... And still, allowing you to relax!
And most importantly, on the day of, they have quick fixes if anything goes wrong, keep you on time, prevent stress from entering your brain by fielding bad news, allowing you breathing room from guests, and giving you the freedom to enjoy your day. There is nothing better than that. Everything was fantastic with Debbie and her team. Super responsive and attentive to our requests, and incredibly patient and available with our hectic schedule and short time frame. This review is for Sandy, she was WONDERFUL! would I recommend the planning HECK YEA!!!! she's AMAZING... her assistant paid attention to details as to providing me with water, when I forget I'm thirsty they were so in detailed. My reception turned out more beautiful then I imagine!!! I have her lined up for the next couple of family memebers looking to tie the knot soon..
We also got other services from AquaFuzion, as much as the service was great the outcome was not what I imagine it to be... My husband and I both work full time, and although we thought it was possible to plan everything ourselves, we soon realized that time is approaching fast, and we need help from a professional. What we liked the most about Aquafuzion is the fact that we were able to get everything done at one place. We got our invitation, DJ, chair cover, emcee, placement card, limo rental, and wedding day coordination all from Aquafuzion. Debbie's attention to detail and her ability to work with our vision made everything easier and smoother. For the center pieces, they were able to take our abstract ideas and created something that was beyond our expectation. What we also liked about Debbie @ Aquafuzion is her work ethic. Week before the wedding, we had received e-mail from Debbie, who was still up and working at 3am trying to make sure all the details were correct. They made sure everything was printed and delivered on time which reduced the stress that would've been placed on us. After getting rid of our first wedding planner, we needed to look for another one. With 3 months before our wedding, I was freaking out! I mean, we had learned our lesson. We needed to find someone with a lot of experience and actually know what they�re doing. After a few interviews with many wedding planners, we finally hired Sandy Liang, from Aquafuzion. She was a lifesaver. She picked up where my ex-wedding planner left off right away. She was very flexible, responsible, smart, and amazing. Her price was very reasonable too. She also helped me design our wedding program, menu, and place cards in 1 week within a reasonable price. The design was so beautiful. Especially the menu, I loved it so much. On my wedding day, she was so helpful and everything went so smoothly. I just woke up and just worried about being beautiful the whole day and not worrying about anything else. I don�t even know what was happening outside. That�s how good she was. She can handle every single thing. The first time I saw my ceremony and reception, I was so happy. She did all the decorating and planning. Whenever I need her, she came right away and solved the problem right away. I heard some very good compliments from my guests about her too. At the end of the night, I was a little too drunk. She even took me to our honeymoon suite and checked everything before she left, making sure everything was alright. She was just too thoughtful and sweet. The next day morning, we got her email about what happened behind the scenes. A couple days after the wedding, she even called to check on us. My husband and I have no regrets hiring Sandy. She made our wedding beautiful, as she planned and gave us a very memorable wedding. We were impressed with how well Debbie and her assistants handled all this with grace and understanding. CAKE (5 stars):
AquaFuzion provided the cake for my wedding. Their cakes are provided by a baker who works at a Ritz-Carlton hotel in Southern California. A tasting was included after we signed the contract. The tasting went really well. Though I didn't meet the actual baker, Debbie and Sandy were very attentive to my feedback.
On the wedding cake, they coordinated delivery (they were also my wedding coordinators) and everything went smoothly. The cake was beautiful! We got a 3-tier cake for 150 people. The top & middle tiers were chocolate with vanilla custard filling. The bottom tier was vanilla sponge cake with mocha rum filling. The cake was gorgeous and delicious! I only wish I could have eaten more of it!

FLOWERS (4 stars):
The flowers were absolutely gorgeous! I pretty much knew what I wanted in terms of flowers but Debbie and Sandy had some creative and wonderful ideas too. They never shot down my ideas like some other florists I met with. They're very open to your ideas and making them work well together. They do charge for sample centerpieces and bouquets though. On the day of the wedding, almost everything was exactly as I wanted and the centerpieces and bouquets actually looked BETTER than the samples! The only thing that was not perfect was that the aisle runner was shorter than we agreed on. The day after the wedding Debbie e-mailed me to apologize about it, even though I didn't mention it. She said her staff brought the wrong aisle runner and she was so busy overseeing the setup of the reception and coordinating my helpers that she didn't see the aisle runner until guests were already seated and the ceremony was about to start so she had no time to improvise. This was the only thing that didn't go according to plan and NONE of my guests noticed. DH tells me it wasn't a big deal but I'm a perfectionist so I was disappointed. However, I still more than recommend her services. Everything went SO well and I still hear from my guests on how beautiful everything was! I know that a lot more could have gone wrong and these things happen.

COORDINATOR (4 stars):
Everything went SO smoothly the day of the wedding but I think Debbie may have been a little bit overwhelmed by doing coordination and floral services since I had a lot of flowers. My helpers and DH had a hard time locating her before the ceremony because she was setting up the reception. The day after the wedding, Debbie sent me a detailed e-mail about what she was doing on the day of my wedding. It was helpful for me to understand what was going on throughout the day. I know she wasn't slacking and was genuinely doing as much as she could. The incident before the ceremony was the only problem that came up. I still highly recommend her services!
INVITATIONS (4 stars):
I absolutely LOVE my invitations! They did a great job in making it look exactly like the sample I gave them from another company that wanted to charge a lot more $$$ plus I was able to have the writing thermographed! The only problem that came up was that she gave me 100 envelopes, instead of 175 envelopes, on accident. When I told her, she mailed out the extra envelopes to me immediately so she was very fast in fixing the problem. Debbie was really flexible. She even let me change something right before the invitations were about to be printed and let me add printing the addresses on my RSVP envelopes after my initial order. I would totally recommend her to anyone! If you are DIYing your invitations, AquaFuzion also will print your invitations for you in thermography.

CHAIR COVERS (5 stars):
My chair covers were exactly as I wanted them! When we had our walkthrough at Westlake Village Inn to discuss flowers, she brought a sample chair cover with her so I got to see it in the reception room on the actual chairs. It was really cool. Everything went perfectly smooth the day of the wedding for rentals.
