As the mother of the bride, I cannot say enough wonderful things about Castello di Rossino and the incredible team that made my daughter's wedding an absolute dream come true.

From the moment we began planning, Lisa, the owner, and her assistant Margherita were by our side every step of the way. More than venue coordinators, they truly became our wedding planners, trusted advisors, and eventually felt like family. Despite living abroad and never having seen the castle in person before the wedding weekend, we felt completely supported through countless video calls, emails, and text messages.

Lisa and Margherita guided us through every aspect of the planning process, introducing us to exceptional vendors and helping us create the perfect celebration for our approximately 40 guests. From the caterer (Vicook) and florist Laura, to Roberto from Snap2 Photography, the DJ, shuttle transportation, hair and makeup artists, and even the managers of the hotels where our family and guests stayed, every recommendation was outstanding. Their relationships and local expertise made planning a destination wedding seamless and within our budget.

Then came the wedding weekend, and Castello di Rossino exceeded every expectation we had. The grounds are absolutely stunning, and the views overlooking Lake Como are simply breathtaking. The setting feels like something out of a fairytale, with the castle's historic charm creating a magical and romantic atmosphere that left our guests speechless.

What truly sets this venue apart, however, is the warmth, care, and dedication of the people behind it. Lisa and Margherita treated our family as if we were their own. On the wedding day, every detail was flawlessly executed, allowing us to relax and fully enjoy this once-in-a-lifetime celebration.

When we first started looking for our wedding venue in Italy we reached out to a number of venues and wedding planners and were very clear as to what our budget was, how many guests we’d likely have and what the main things we wanted to have at the wedding were.

Lisa from Castello di Rossino was quick to get back to us to organise a short video call - The venue looked beautiful and Lisa was extremely meticulous, giving us an estimate price for every part of the wedding and was very clear with every detail (including additional VAT costs, transfers, extras etc). Working with Lisa on planning the wedding honestly couldn’t have been easier. She gave us a number of options for each vendor - importantly every vendor available she has a great working relationship with and they are all very high quality but very reasonably priced. Every single vendor that we worked with during planning was extremely friendly and helpful. Nothing was too much to ask of them and it made the experience so enjoyable and straight forward. Lisa’s organisation of each vendor and collating such an amazing set of people is something we were so grateful for.

The big day itself we had a high expectations for, we travelled over with 35 of our closest family and friends from different parts of the UK and were all extremely excited. Genuinely, the day itself surpassed anything we ever even believed possible. Every single moment from when the bridal party arrived to get ready at the castle, to when the bus arrived perfectly on time to take us back to our hotel was like a dream. Lisa and Vivianne worked extremely hard all day but you would hardly notice they were even there - the privacy of the event was just amazing. Every vendor nailed it, they all provided us with more than we could have expected and did so with such an amazingly happy and positive attitude that both us and our guests felt like the most important people in the world.

Throughout the day we were always guided through each part seamlessly with Lisa and Vivian’s help but without feeling like there was any pressure at all, which really let us enjoy each others company during the event which was really appreciated.

Since the wedding our guests have not stopped talking about how it didn’t even feel real the whole day - the venue was unbelievable, the food the best they’ve ever had at a wedding and the evening dancing and disco were extremely fun.

The planning and execution couldn’t have been better - everything came in on our expected budget that we discussed in the very first phone call, including some added extras like sparklers in the evening, extra lighting, heaters, beer tap and table football!

We genuinely couldn’t be more grateful for what was easily the best day of our lives. We also feel like we will have friends forever in Calziocorte, Lecco now!
