When we first started looking for our wedding venue in Italy we reached out to a number of venues and wedding planners and were very clear as to what our budget was, how many guests we’d likely have and what the main things we wanted to have at the wedding were.
Lisa from Castello di Rossino was quick to get back to us to organise a short video call - The venue looked beautiful and Lisa was extremely meticulous, giving us an estimate price for every part of the wedding and was very clear with every detail (including additional VAT costs, transfers, extras etc). Working with Lisa on planning the wedding honestly couldn’t have been easier. She gave us a number of options for each vendor - importantly every vendor available she has a great working relationship with and they are all very high quality but very reasonably priced. The vendors we used I have listed below:
- Wedding planning: Lisa Elle Group (Lisa & Vivian)
- Catering: Area Kitchen Group (Monica & Arianna)
- Florist: Laura Rotasperti
- Photography: Fotosenzaposa (Fabio, Davide & Ginni)
- Stationery: Roberta Manzoni
- Music: Filippo Tosci, Peppe Santangelo (saxophone)
- Makeup & Hair: Amanda Tironi
- Transfers & Taxis: Lario Bus, Lario Taxi (Guido & Vittorio)
- Hotel for guests: NH Pontevecchio Lecco
Every single vendor that we worked with during planning was extremely friendly and helpful. Nothing was too much to ask of them and it made the experience so enjoyable and straight forward. Lisa’s organisation of each vendor and collating such an amazing set of people is something we were so grateful for.
The big day itself we had a high expectations for, we travelled over with 35 of our closest family and friends from different parts of the UK and were all extremely excited. Genuinely, the day itself surpassed anything we ever even believed possible. Every single moment from when the bridal party arrived to get ready at the castle, to when the bus arrived perfectly on time to take us back to our hotel was like a dream. Lisa and Vivianne worked extremely hard all day but you would hardly notice they were even there - the privacy of the event was just amazing. Every vendor nailed it, they all provided us with more than we could have expected and did so with such an amazingly happy and positive attitude that both us and our guests felt like the most important people in the world.
Throughout the day we were always guided through each part seamlessly with Lisa and Vivian’s help but without feeling like there was any pressure at all, which really let us enjoy each others company during the event which was really appreciated.
Since the wedding our guests have not stopped talking about how it didn’t even feel real the whole day - the venue was unbelievable, the food the best they’ve ever had at a wedding and the evening dancing and disco were extremely fun.
The planning and execution couldn’t have been better - everything came in on our expected budget that we discussed in the very first phone call, including some added extras like sparklers in the evening, extra lighting, heaters, beer tap and table football!
We genuinely couldn’t be more grateful for what was easily the best day of our lives. We also feel like we will have friends forever in Calziocorte, Lecco now! -

Planning our dream wedding at Castello di Rossino all the way from Australia felt surprisingly easy, thanks to Lisa and Giorgia from Lisa Elle Weddings. They were always in touch with monthly calls, super organised and made the whole experience really smooth and stress-free.
They have a great team of vendors they work with from catering and photography to florals and everything came together perfectly.
If you're thinking about getting married in Italy, we would recommend Lisa Elle Weddings. They made the whole experience so special. -

My husband and I had the wedding of our dreams because of the work that Lisa and Giorgia put into our wedding. The vendors they suggested were perfect for our event and they were so loving and attentive throughout the process. Every month they spent an hour with us going over details and coordinating with us. We live in Los Angeles and our wedding was in Lake Como, so not only did they work with our time difference and schedule appointments with us at the very end of their workdays, but they were able to video call with us and show us the venue so we could get an idea of everything before we got there. I am so grateful we found them and cannot recommend Lisa Elle Weddings enough!!! -

Lisa Elle Weddings made all my destination wedding dreams come true and I would highly recommend her for all future brides! I worked directly with Lisa and one of her team members, Giorgia, and they were both incredible. Lisa truly listened to all my desires for our wedding day and executed it perfectly. She was always available and responded promptly. She was incredibly kind and easy to work with. She provided me with options for all of our vendors with whom she works with frequently. Our caterer, DJ, florist, and photographer were all amazing!
During the entire wedding planning process, it was obvious that Lisa and her team had years of experience to execute a beautiful wedding day. I live in the USA and was unable to visit Italy beforehand, so I put my trust in Lisa and it was the best decision my husband and I made. She and her team sent us many photos of the venue we chose (Villa Claudia) and did a site visit for us. The process was easy and I knew I was in capable hands. Lisa and Giorgia were also both there on the wedding day and everything went smoothly so we were able to fully enjoy our wedding day stress free.
My wedding day was overall more beautiful than I ever could have dreamed and I owe that to Lisa Elle Weddings. Our wedding day was perfect. The venue, the food, the music, and the organization were all superb. I cannot thank Lisa and her team enough!! -
