Kaci and the XOXO Wedding Team were the absolute best to work with for our wedding! As a couple living on the East Coast, Kaci accepted us right away (via Zoom) and confidently took up the challenge of helping us plan from afar. We felt the warmth, expertise, and diligence she would bring to our event right away and throughout the planning process, where Kaci was available and communicative. She was stellar at prioritizing what was important for us while incorporating additional activities and logistics as they came up during the year-plus process. Wedding planning is stressful, but our virtual and in-person meetings felt just as lighthearted as they were productive.

Their suggested vendor options were outstanding - tailored to our needs and not overwhelming in the number of choices. Most of the vendors we hired had worked with Kaci before, so the rapport they shared made everything run smoothly up to, and throughout, the big day. Thanks to Kaci’s planning and day-of orchestration, every vendor and staff was on time, equally friendly and within our budget! Multiple family members and guests told us how impressed they were with her abilities.

Taylor was a phenomenal wedding coordinator and we whole-heartedly recommend her to anyone getting married in the Reno-Tahoe area! It was evident in every meeting, phone call, and email correspondence that Taylor was passionate about her role in ensuring our wedding day was executed to our vision as seamlessly as possible. She was easy to work with, had a positive attitude, and was well-known and well-regarded by all of our vendors.

Although we chose the “month of” package, Taylor provided us with a framework, timeline and budget tracker that guided us through the process of planning and executing our wedding from a year out to the big day. We had monthly email checkins that provided encouragement and advice, as well as vendor recommendations and contract reviews. All of which was very helpful, and her knowledge of the industry and local vendors was self-evident.

About a month before our wedding, we met with Taylor to go over everything that would happen the day before, the day of, and the day after our wedding day. From here she took on total communication with vendors, working with them to create our timeline and ensuring everyone was on the same page.

On the day of our wedding, Taylor expertly managed everything from set up to clean up, including small details like making sure we had drinks and apps in hand while signing our marriage license. At one point in the night, we had told her that everything went so smoothly and on-time, not even knowing that at one point she had to personally scare off a bear! Needless to say, she is an expert at making sure the bride and groom are at ease and handle any hiccups discreetly along the way!

We are so grateful for Lexi for making our wedding day perfect and stress-free. We first met Lexi virtually in January of this year (our wedding was in October) and immediately connected! My partner and I had a vague vision for our wedding but through our every other month meetings (which became more frequent as we got closer), Lexi provided us guidance, support, and advice to help us refine our vision. Our families cannot stop raving about how great Lexi (and also her assistant Cassidy) were and we are so grateful! They really gave us the greatest gift - feeling completely at ease on the wedding day and that is truly priceless. Kaci is a godsend!!!! We started working with Kaci about a year out from our wedding and, from the very beginning, she was organized, optimistic, perseverant, and kind. Taylor Hicks was the best decision I made for my June 2025 wedding at Valhalla Tahoe. There was about an 18 month period between the day we hired her to be our day of coordinator and our actual wedding day, however, Taylor was with us every step of the way. From the moment I first met Taylor, there was a sense of calm, organization, and love for Taylor Swift that I knew I wanted for my wedding day.

She thought of every detail and handled them seamlessly. From managing the timeline to dealing with all vendors, setting up decor, keeping wedding party members and family in check, she made the entire day flow effortlessly. Anytime a problem occurred, she handled it quietly and efficiently so we never even knew there was a hiccup. As a Type A person that stresses a lot, this was especially important for me as a bride on my wedding day.

Despite the fact that Mel had to deal with a traumatic family event in the weeks leading up to my wedding, I never felt like she dropped the ball once. She was always available to respond to my messages, and never once made me feel like I was bothering her. I felt prioritized and confident in her. I'm a type A bride, and had so many vendors and things that needed to get done on the big day. It was a lot of moving parts. But Mel and her team executed it perfectly. I couldn't have asked for a better planner and team to have executed my vision. All my guests were also so impressed with Mel and her team, with how professional they were and how they accurately and efficiently handled everything. They say every wedding has some unplanned hiccup, but I feel like thanks to Mel and her team, the night went seamlessly and perfectly.
