From our church wedding, to our rooftop cocktail hour, to being completely transported into a different world for the reception — we wanted the day to feel like a true transformation. Kaci brought that vision to life in the most incredible way. From the moment we walked into the reception, it felt like stepping into another place — the draping, florals, live band, and overall design completely transformed the space. The energy was amazing, and exactly what we had hoped for… people were on the dance floor all night.
I cannot say enough amazing things about Kaci. She played such an integral role in making our wedding one of the most special and memorable days of our lives.
We had a 300+ person wedding and were really focused on keeping it local and true to who we are. With our guest count, that came with some limitations — and a few pivots along the way — but Kaci guided us through every decision, helping us stay calm and on track while keeping the vision intact.
What stood out most to me was how she listened. She let us talk… a lot… about our vision, what we wanted, what we didn't want. She never rushed us or steered us somewhere easier. She just took it all in and then made it happen. You could tell she genuinely cared, not just about the event, but about us.
She is incredibly responsive (honestly, sometimes too responsive — she deserves a real vacation after our wedding!), deeply detail-oriented, and someone you trust with every decision. And on top of all that, she is just so much fun to be around. Planning a wedding is a lot — but Kaci made the whole process feel fun rather than overwhelming. She is exactly the kind of person you want by your side during one of the most important times of your life.
A special mention also has to go to her husband Bryan — together they are such an incredible duo. Bryan helped bring some stunning details to life, including our menus and our seating chart. We wanted the seating chart to look like stone, and what he created was so beautiful it ended up becoming its own moment — guests were stopping to take photos in front of it.
Kaci also introduced us to some amazing vendors, all of whom brought our vision — and more importantly, the feeling and energy we wanted — to life in such a beautiful way.
I can't recommend Kaci enough. She made our day everything we dreamed of and more.

Kehau and the entire team at XOXO Weddings were absolutely incredible. She came highly recommended by our friends, and now we completely understand why. From the very beginning, Kehau was extremely responsive, organized, and thoughtful. She took the time to understand our vision and truly planned every detail with care, making the entire process feel smooth and stress-free.
Throughout the planning, she was always available to answer questions, offer guidance, and keep everything on track. On the day of the wedding, everything came together seamlessly because of her preparation and attention to detail.
A huge thank you as well to her amazing assistants, they went above and beyond, especially with picking up last minute items and handling anything that came up without us ever having to worry. Their support made a big difference in keeping the day running perfectly.

The BEST Wedding Planner!!
Choosing XOXO Wedding as our wedding planner was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. We hired Kaci for full-service planning, and she was absolutely amazing. We got married at the Ebell of Los Angeles in August 2025, and Kaci's extensive knowledge of the venue and her strong connections with local vendors made a huge difference.
Kaci and her team are incredibly organized, detail-oriented, and professional. They made the entire planning process feel smooth, stress-free, and even enjoyable. They handled everything, from vendor coordination, contracts, timelines, and layouts to all the small details that truly matter. Kaci provided amazing recommendations for photography, videography, photo booth, officiant/MC, DJ, florist, lion dance, and everything in between. She even helped with our first dance choreography, and her colleague Natalie created a beautiful and unique choreography for our first dance and the mother-son and father-daughter dances. It was such a special highlight of the night.
As the wedding day approached, Kaci made sure we had a clear and finalized schedule, and she coordinated closely with all vendors so everyone was aligned. On the day of the wedding, everything ran perfectly. Kaci and her team ensured everything flowed seamlessly and always guided us on where to be, so we could fully relax and enjoy every moment. The decor was absolutely stunning, and so many of our guests told us it was the most beautiful and fun wedding they had ever attended. My husband and I are incredibly grateful to Kaci and her talented team. They are truly the best in the business, and they made our dream wedding a reality. XOXO Wedding deserves more than five stars.

My husband and I feel so lucky to have Mel from XOXO weddings in our life! Working with Mel to plan our absolute dream wedding was, well, a dream. She took our ideas and helped us make them reality with professionality, humor, and grace! We appreciated her organization and communication, she made sure we all stayed on the same page and our day went as smooth.
Her day-of execution was on point, the weather forecast for the wedding changed several times in the weeks before our set date, the threat of rain was so stressful with it being an outdoor event. And it did rain! But, we were so prepared, and it was whimsical! Mel and her team coordinated everyone, the vendors, the guests, the performances while still checking in with us the bride and groom to make sure we did everything we wanted to do! She even made us the coolest pocket timelines for the wedding party and VIP’s! Thank you for being a part of our special day, Mel.

Kaci and the XOXO Wedding Team were the absolute best to work with for our wedding! As a couple living on the East Coast, Kaci accepted us right away (via Zoom) and confidently took up the challenge of helping us plan from afar. We felt the warmth, expertise, and diligence she would bring to our event right away and throughout the planning process, where Kaci was available and communicative. She was stellar at prioritizing what was important for us while incorporating additional activities and logistics as they came up during the year-plus process. Wedding planning is stressful, but our virtual and in-person meetings felt just as lighthearted as they were productive.
Their suggested vendor options were outstanding - tailored to our needs and not overwhelming in the number of choices. Most of the vendors we hired had worked with Kaci before, so the rapport they shared made everything run smoothly up to, and throughout, the big day. Thanks to Kaci’s planning and day-of orchestration, every vendor and staff was on time, equally friendly and within our budget! Multiple family members and guests told us how impressed they were with her abilities.
We cannot recommend Kaci and her team enough to anyone who wants an expert wedding planner as much as a dear friend to take them up through the wedding planning journey. Taylor was a phenomenal wedding coordinator and we whole-heartedly recommend her to anyone getting married in the Reno-Tahoe area! It was evident in every meeting, phone call, and email correspondence that Taylor was passionate about her role in ensuring our wedding day was executed to our vision as seamlessly as possible. She was easy to work with, had a positive attitude, and was well-known and well-regarded by all of our vendors.
Although we chose the “month of” package, Taylor provided us with a framework, timeline and budget tracker that guided us through the process of planning and executing our wedding from a year out to the big day. We had monthly email checkins that provided encouragement and advice, as well as vendor recommendations and contract reviews. All of which was very helpful, and her knowledge of the industry and local vendors was self-evident.
About a month before our wedding, we met with Taylor to go over everything that would happen the day before, the day of, and the day after our wedding day. From here she took on total communication with vendors, working with them to create our timeline and ensuring everyone was on the same page.
On the day of our wedding, Taylor expertly managed everything from set up to clean up, including small details like making sure we had drinks and apps in hand while signing our marriage license. At one point in the night, we had told her that everything went so smoothly and on-time, not even knowing that at one point she had to personally scare off a bear! Needless to say, she is an expert at making sure the bride and groom are at ease and handle any hiccups discreetly along the way!
If you want to work with a coordinator with a positive, can-do spirit who will bring you and your fiance’s vision to life, we highly recommend hiring Taylor!XOXO Weddings's reply:

Kaci was organized, set out a clear plan for how we'd partner over the year+ planning process, and always kept the trains moving forward. We loved the vendors that she recommended and had so much trust in her ability to execute the wedding of our dreams. We are so grateful for Lexi for making our wedding day perfect and stress-free. We first met Lexi virtually in January of this year (our wedding was in October) and immediately connected! My partner and I had a vague vision for our wedding but through our every other month meetings (which became more frequent as we got closer), Lexi provided us guidance, support, and advice to help us refine our vision. Lexi really went above and beyond and was the single best investment we made for our wedding. She made us feel so comfortable, was a great communicator, supported us with all of our decisions, and offered the best advice.
While Lexi’s support leading up to the wedding was amazing, her support the day before and day of the wedding was even more amazing, as it allowed us to hand off all of the logistics and just enjoy the weekend. Lexi managed all the moving parts with grace and truly set the tone for a stress-free wedding. Our families cannot stop raving about how great Lexi (and also her assistant Cassidy) were and we are so grateful! They really gave us the greatest gift - feeling completely at ease on the wedding day and that is truly priceless. We had the pleasure of working with Mel for our wedding that just happened this weekend. I rushed to write this review while everything was fresh in my head. I worked with Mel for 1.5 years leading up to our big day and she did not disappoint. Despite the fact that Mel had to deal with a traumatic family event in the weeks leading up to my wedding, I never felt like she dropped the ball once. She was always available to respond to my messages, and never once made me feel like I was bothering her. I felt prioritized and confident in her. I'm a type A bride, and had so many vendors and things that needed to get done on the big day. It was a lot of moving parts. But Mel and her team executed it perfectly. I couldn't have asked for a better planner and team to have executed my vision. All my guests were also so impressed with Mel and her team, with how professional they were and how they accurately and efficiently handled everything. They say every wedding has some unplanned hiccup, but I feel like thanks to Mel and her team, the night went seamlessly and perfectly. Hi all! I found XOXO weddings after a not-so-great experience with another planner and I'm so happy I ended up where I ended up because XOXO paired me up with Barb... and everything was great.
She was there with and for me, every step of the way. I had most of my vendors picked out by the time I signed on but anything I didn't have picked out already... she had suggestions for and saved me a ton of time.
Barb was quick to respond, always prepared, and kept everything (including myself) in check and on time. And did so in a way that was really appreciated by all involved.
I believe everything she suggested and did, was to help me have the wedding I wanted to have. Evennnn when it came to things she might not choose for herself! :D
So yes, I recommend Barb with XOXO weddings to any bride (or someone planning an event) who needs any kind of support from planning all the way through to just enjoying your special day. -

Where do we begin after this nearly two year long journey? We truly couldn’t have had as perfect of a wedding if it wasn’t for Kaci.
At the beginning, it seemed like we wouldn’t need a planner or coordinator. We had a long window and our own personal experience coordinating teams and events. It quickly became apparent that our lives would be exponentially better relying on Kaci at every turn.
There are so many things to be grateful for, like the big stuff of scheduling visits to venues and providing lists of trusted vendors. But we think so much of the little stuff is what saved us: sending an email after a day when we were just not up to it or chasing down answers when the videographers might not be making sense. And we’re sure there’s three times as much stuff to be thankful for that we never even heard about because of her work.
But maybe most of all, we have to acknowledge her positivity and energy. We have to imagine that not every day is a good one. But she never let on that any task was a burden or that we were another number on a spreadsheet or that she needed a moment to just be in a bad mood. It’s rare to find that quality in a person, let alone someone who has dedicated their life to making sure other people have one of the best days of their lives.
We can’t stress enough how perfect our wedding was. And she is one of the main contributing factors in that perfection. -

I could not say enough great things about my wedding coordinator Kehau (Kehaulani Gabriel). I chose the hugs package and I really liked that it was not just a "month of" coordination which is what most planners/coordinators offer. From the moment we had our first meeting, she was ready to jump in and start drafting a timeline. I originally planned to do all the coordination and planning myself but halfway through the planning I realized that I really needed help, especially on the day of. Now, I could not imagine going through the planning process without Kehau! Since we was able to put together the timelines, communicate with vendors, and set up all the decor, I was able to focus on enjoying the wedding itself without worrying about things going smoothly. Because of this, I really had a lovely wedding and I owe this unforgettable day to Kehau and xoxo weddings. -

I can't say enough good things to say about Kaci and XOXO, and can't imagine anyone else guiding us through and pulling off our one-of-a-kind event. I work in production, so I know a good producer when I see one… and the hallmark is balance of logistical/organizational abilities and interpersonal/communication skills. Kaci and her team have that balance.
My husband and I brought Kaci on board for our Catalina Casino wedding on Catalina Island after interviewing a few planners recommended by the Catalina Island Company. We opted for a comprehensive planning package because it’s not so simple to host a wedding on Catalina and we had a lot on our plate: soonafter we set the date, I found out I was pregnant (and due a few months before the wedding!). Kaci was extremely compassionate… which became even more essential when things took a downward turn with my mom. She passed not too long after baby was born, and Kaci helped us postpone and replan the wedding with the utmost kindness and understanding during a very difficult time. Our timeline with Kaci was a supposed to be 1 year… it ended up nearly 2.
When we rescheduled it ended up our son’s birthday weekend - so she also helped with the welcome-dinner-slash-first birthday. Many thanks to her team for helping to set up the party decorations perfectly so I didn’t have to… (And while I’m at it, shoutout to Mel for operating my son’s RC car for a grand entrance to the wedding reception!)
Kaci is organized, thorough, and kind. She had excellent vendor recommendations, did research if she didn’t, and stayed on us when we were pursuing other folks as well - to make sure we followed through and got everything we needed. And, her husband made perfect graphics/posters for us! For someone like me who likes to produce/direct and be in control, I felt comfortable handing her the reigns… and that says a lot. Truly.
I’ll leave you with this: I know in my heart that my mom would have been so very happy seeing how happy our wedding made us, and that was in many ways thanks to Kaci and her team. It was beautiful, unique, fun… but most of all… it was a happy day. A happy day with happy memories. -

We had the absolute pleasure of working with Kelly Pruner for 19 months to plan our wedding in September 2024. Kelly is an absolute superstar - she's kind, open-minded, thorough, timely, and extremely helpful. She took the time to get to know us right off the bat so she could understand the vision for our special day. She gave us tons of tips and encouraged us to explore some of our less-traditional ideas. When we had no idea what was next, Kelly was quick to assure us that all couples experience certain challenges with planning and that she'd be there to guide our next step.
As queer brides, it was extremely important to us to not only find a wedding planner (and planning company) that was open to working with queer couples, but also someone who was an ally and understood the nuance of our wedding day. She consciously provided gender-neutral / appropriate documents, asked questions instead of assuming anything, and communicated with openness the whole way through.
Kelly was awesome on our wedding day. Her calm nature kept us calm, and she celebrated our excitement with us too! She thought of literally everything and kept our value to have a fun and stress-free day top of mind. She interacted incredibly well with our vendors, the venue, and our friends and family.
We would recommend XOXO Weddings, and more importantly, Kelly Pruner, to help any couple planning a wedding. She is a total professional and is as open-minded, calm, direct, kind, and attentive to detail. We love love love Kelly and miss our regular chats with her! She's the best. -

Of all the decision we made for our wedding, this was by far the easiest. We got engaged in October, 2023 and started interviewing planners shortly after that. Kaci was one of the first wedding planners we chatted with and the way she asked questions about us, our story, what was important to us, the vision of our wedding, gave us all the confidence that she was the perfect person to handle our special day. We live in Minnesota (although the groom grew up in LA), so having someone help plan your wedding when you don't live in the state is of the utmost importance.
After hiring her in December, 2023 she was right there with us for the next 13 months. She made sure we stayed on budget, gave us various vendors to contact, and answered all of our questions promptly. She did all of this with a smile on her face through each conversation. She made us feel like we were the only wedding she was planning.
The sign of a great wedding planner is how they handle everything when things don't go as planned. How about getting married in LA during the week of the fires? Our wedding was January 11 and we flew into LA on the 8th, the day where things really started to get out of hand. Despite one of the many fires getting close to Kaci's house, and her power being cut, she never panicked. She never made us feel like our wedding was of the utmost importance to her. She handled it all with professionalism.
Because of the fires, we did have to pivot on some things, including our officiant not flying in. Kaci was there at every turn to help us with important decisions and she kept calm the entire time. The day of our wedding went on without any issues, 13 months of planning paying huge dividends.
Bottom line, if you want someone that is going to make you feel like your wedding is the only thing going on in her life, can help you every step of the way, and can handle the most major of crises, then Kaci, and XOXO Weddings, is the company to go with. -

We were so BEYOND lucky to work with Kaci from XOXO Weddings for our wedding last summer. She was so incredibly kind, organized, responsive, professional, and collaborative. We HIGHLY recommend Kelly and XOXO Weddings for anyone's wedding if you want it organized to a tee!! We actually found Kelly because she was coordinating some of our best friends' wedding and by the middle of the night, we were asking for her business card. She is so extremely hard working and goes above and beyond for you. She's perhaps the most organized person I've ever seen and she prepared us for things we never would have thought of. I first met Mel when she was coordinating my cousin's wedding last summer, and my cousin wholeheartedly recommended her when I began planning my own at the beginning of this year. If Mel is available for your wedding date, SNATCH HER UP because she was the best choice we made; if we had to do it all again, Mel would still be my first call and the most important line item in our budget.
If I were to write a purely bloodless review, I'd say that Mel is efficient, organized, and responsive. She whipped up a timeline for us to follow from the second we hired her, without which we would have felt overwhelmed and out of our depth -- neither of us have planned anything this big before! She also touched base with us every month to see if we were one track and to field any questions we had throughout the process, and made sure to take notes for us to reference later. Finally, the day of the wedding went off without a hitch and in large part due to Mel's coordination. From large-scale issues like last-minute venue rentals, to medium hiccups like our cake arriving before the venue opened, to even small details like one of our wedding party members needing bottled water where the venue provided lemon spa water -- Mel took care of it all promptly. Even my parents noticed how put-together she was on the day of, and complimented her to me at length.
Okay now for the part where I'm super biased, because besides being professional Mel is COOL. She's funny, she's friendly, and she rocks rainbow hair (and recommended me the colorist I used for the wedding! C:). I genuinely enjoyed every minute we spent speaking with one another. She has a knack for putting people at ease, and speaking with her felt like we'd made a new friend. I think this also translates further to her skill as a coordinator, because in taking the time to get to know us she ensured that the steps we took toward the wedding were *ours* -- I think our wedding day felt so completely like a representation of both of us specifically because of the care she took in advocating for our vision.
So if you want a wedding that reflects you and your spouse and that allows you to fully immerse yourself in the moment on your big day, PLEASE ask for Mel. You won't regret it for a second.XOXO Weddings's reply:

Sarah was phenomenal. I cannot imagine our day without her!
We selected XOXO because they were a preferred vendor for our venue. Based on the communication between Sarah and our venue manager, you could tell there was a clearly established relationship there. We had Sarah booked as our day-of coordinator, but she assisted far beyond that. As soon as we booked her, she provided us with any recommendations we needed and was available via email for any questions that arose!
My favorite part of XOXO's packages are that they handle timeline creation for you (such a game-changer), and they took over vendor communication about 2 weeks out from your wedding. That saved me so much stress and hassle leading up to the day!
On the day, as everyone says, we had some hiccups, but Sarah handled them and reminded me to relax and not worry. She helped keep us on time throughout the evening, and we are so grateful for her. Thank you Sarah and the XOXO team!!

We couldn't have imagined someone as organized, thoughtful, wise, knowledgable, and friendly as Mel. From the first call we knew we were in great hands. Mel understood our goals and budget and was transparent with all of it. She had great advice to keep us from getting screwed over. She documented everything and has an organizational system that is easy to read but could also run the NASA space program. On the night of, her and her assistant made sure everything ran so smooth and dealt with some difficulties created by our venue, all without us knowing.

The wedding coordinator of our dreams
We had the privilege of working with Alli with XOXO Weddings and we truly could not have had the wedding of our dreams without her! We opted for the day of coordination package as we would be doing a fair amount of the back end booking of vendors and organization. Since day one Alli was nothing but organized, prompt, communicative, knowledgeable, kind, and not to mention hysterical (providing the comedic relief I needed as a type A & stressed bride). Any question I had or recommendation on a vendor was met quickly and with incredible information and experience and did an incredible job at keeping me organized and on top of everything for the big day ahead.
While I won't go into too many details, Alli consistently put out fire after fire due to the lack of organization of other vendors without adding to my stress and keeping me calm, happy, and in the loop. She was always one step ahead of me in resolving any problems and most of the time had resolved any issues before I even knew there was any! For us the wedding flowed so smoothly, guests were extremely happy and having an incredible time, and the setup of the wedding was straight out of our dreams (when I know behind the scenes she was working incredibly hard all while 7 months pregnant!). We were incredibly lucky to have Mel from XOXO Weddings as our wedding coordinator! My husband, parents and I had some specific visions for the wedding including a two-part ceremony (Traditional American and Persian), and she was extremely helpful with refining and executing our vision.

Beyond worth it!
I knew I wanted a planner for when I eventually had to plan a wedding, and woo boy, I had no idea how critical one would be. I found Kaci at XOXO Weddings through a law school classmate who planned her wedding. Kaci was bubbly, bright, friendly - qualities I sometimes lack - and it was so appreciated for the many zooms, calls, emails, and texts we had. I'm stubborn and type A, and I know there is a lot of the process that I could have done, but I'm glad that I chose not to and let Kaci handle and manage. Having her on top of everything gave me space to focus on the design and details - things that took our wedding from great to amazing.
I used Kaci for the whole package which included helping us find a venue. She nailed it with what we eventually chose. I will say that if you're anything like me, you will still look at the venues' reviews, photos, etc before making a choice. Same with the various vendors. Kaci always came equipped with the best, but again, because I'm type-A, I would still do my own googling and research all to just come back to one of her suggestions. OR if I found one that I liked better on my own, she would still swoop in and handle communication and all the "admin." It felt like we were part of the same team when approaching vendors. I had a budget and Kaci would give me ways to make it work and would help me come up with ways to make it work with the vendors. If there was ever a snafu, she would be our representative and get it worked out. You can tell vendors love working with her. Which is what you need, because then vendors will want to work with you.
I always worried, what if I change my mind? What if we do alllllll this, set the design book, and I wake up and have a different idea - well that happened and Kaci was great at communicating that I could change things up until x date.
Kaci was always responsive. I'm a lawyer and being responsive to emails is part of my job, but I didn't expect it to be a part of hers, yet she would always respond if not right away, just a few hours later (I should note that I never expected her to get back to me so quickly and it was not something I demanded).
I feel like this review is all over the place because how can I put our working relationship for the past year into one review?! Here's some more things though, she had a designated binder for my wedding. She kept track of when payments were due and how much had been spent. She helped create a budget at the outset and helped us stick to it --- though we strayed. She held a 4 hour design meeting with me that got the juices flowing. She attended vendor meetings with us. She was receptive to my suggestions and took them on. When it came to day of stuff, I felt like a baby when I realized I had to deal with my family and their schedules and their parking and all that. Because she had taken such good care of everything else, I was like, I can't possibly handle this haha.
Day of, she was everywhere. Had a walkie talkie and her two assistants from the company. They were everywhere too. Making sure I was where I needed to be. Making sure vendors were in and out appropriately. I'm sure she saw things and handled things that I'll never know about, and that's fine because I had a good day. Surprising to me is that we got our own attendant during dinner who was on top of getting us anything we needed. I wish I could relive that day again and again. I wish I could've attended my wedding as a guest! It just went so smoothly. I'm sad it's done, largely because we won't be working together anymore.

My husband and I got engaged in March 2023, and within one week, I was too overwhelmed by the prospect of planning a wedding and handling the pressure of my overly demanding full-time job. Fortunately, my husband's sister had an excellent recommendation for XOXO weddings. We opted for the comprehensive wedding package and were rewarded by working with the owner of XOXO, Kaci!
Kaci immediately put my mind at ease. From the first call we had, we bonded over so much. She makes you feel safe in your decisions but also has a keen sense of when and where to guide you to make the right calls for you. One of the most significant game changes was her list of what to worry about when. It made me realize I didn't have to take it all on at once; we could break each thing down into individual steps per month. Additionally, she didn't overwhelm us with options, she listened to our requests and presented us with three options at a time. If we didn't like any of the three, she brought three more.
The wedding took place in Palm Springs in April 2024, and it was gorgeous. Every one of her recommendations was so kind and professional. From the venue to the flowers to her team that was on hand the weekend of to assist - it was everything and more. -

XOXO is, without an iota of a doubt, Southern California's Premiere wedding planner collective. We had the absolute pleasure of working with the incredible Mel Lovell. She is organized, delightful, gentle, encouraging, an excellent communicator, and just the greatest human being. We had a lot of very specific and unique ideas for our wedding, and Mel was helpful, creative, and supportive every step of the way. Best Decision Ever!
Besides marrying my husband, this was the best and easiest decision when it came to our wedding. We have been working with Kaci since August 2021. We just got married in May 2023. From our initial meeting, we knew she had to be our wedding planner. Not only did she have so much experience in this industry and her past weddings look amazing, but most importantly, she’s just the most wonderful human being we ever met. She made planning our wedding fun and easy. She took the stress out of making decisions and guided us each step of the way. She is everything I could have ever asked for in a wedding planner and more. My husband, who is so picky at times, loves her and her team and will continuously sing her praises! She is so passionate about her work and her kindness radiates in everything she does. Also, she is just so on top of it. Whether it’s her planning binders, her meetings, emails, the execution is perfection. I could write books and books of why you should choose her and her team as your planner. One thing that I truly loved working with her was that I could openly ask her about what was worth spending money on and what wasn’t and she was able to give such thoughtful answers. She knew my dream wedding vision was and was able to deliver it and stick to our budget. We’re definitely in the age of all our friends getting married and we were warned over and over again by friends to have extra money set aside because things will inevitably cost more in the end. And with Kaci, it didn’t. All costs were transparent and she even put in a miscellaneous cost in our budget and I don’t even think we used that. She made wedding weekend go so smoothly. Even if something did go wrong or run late, I never knew about it! She took all the stress out of our wedding day. I couldn’t have imagined our wedding without her. And with Kaci, it makes me want to plan a million weddings and parties with her. I will say she makes the post wedding blues worse because we just miss talking to her and planning with her! So you are warned about that. But seriously, I can go on and on about her and her team. And because she has so much experience in this industry, the vendors she suggest! We worked with Mel at XOXO Weddings for our April 2023 wedding at the Ebell of LA and had an absolutely amazing experience. We did the partial planning package, which was super helpful as Mel kept us on track and low stress throughout the entire planning process. She referred us to an incredible team of vendors, and helped guide us to make sure that we were doing the right things at the right time. Beyond the referrals, anytime we had a question, she was quick to answer or reach out to the relevant vendors to secure an answer for us.

Our wedding was the best weekend of my life, and it was because of all the details involved in the complexity of the event Kaci had already thought of. The wedding ran so smoothly and was way easier than I expected. One of the most common compliments we heard from our guests was about how well all the events came together.
I’d say that we all became friends as we worked together, and honestly I’ll miss her! Kaci was constantly level headed and focused on keeping us on schedule and organized, even when things were tough. She is 100% committed to making sure your wedding is the best it possibly can be, and she doesn’t settle for doing an “okay job”. If I had to do a large event in So Cal she’s the first person I’d reach out to. On a separate note, I learned I was related to Kawei, a member of the XOXO team! (Small world).
XOXO weddings not only kept us on task, but frequently came up with creative solutions to different logistical issues. All the vendors that they found for our welcome party and wedding ceremony were amazing. The wedding venue they found for us was beyond any of my expectations. You’re the best, Kaci! My husband and I had a great experience working with Kelly from XOXO Weddings as our month of coordinator for our wedding last month! Despite being our "month of coordinator", Kelly was readily available if we had any questions or asked for vendor recommendations during the months prior.
Communication was easy; Kelly was quickly responsive via email and our meetings were very comprehensive and informative. My husband and I needed a lot of guidance when it came to the little details for our wedding day, and Kelly answered all of our questions and asked us all of the important questions that did not even cross our minds. For the rehearsal, she took lead and clearly walked us through so everyone knew what to do the day of. Kelly is very organized and created an entire google folder in google drive to compile all of our important documents for the wedding. This made it so easy for us to access and update on our own.
Also, she has a great attitude. She is so friendly and overall was a joy to work with! My husband and I were thoroughly impressed with Kelly and so glad we had her as our coordinator! Thank you, Kelly, for making our special day so memorable and the best wedding ever! :) -

We worked with XOXO Weddings and Mel Lovell, who produced a birthday party at my venue "The Oviatt" in April 2023. It was a wonderful experience all around.
Of the qualities I look for in a good wedding/event planner: organization, communication, commitment and care, and vendor selection, Mel was top notch at them all - she is super easy to work with, has so much energy she puts into her work, and above it all is a blast to be around and work with.

Kaci coordinated my brother's wedding and I was so impressed that I hired her for mine! Loved working with Kaci and would definitely recommend her to all my friends. Your wedding day should be the best day of your life at that point, and I'm glad to say that was the case for me. Not everything is going to go exactly according to plan, but if you have a good wedding planner you'll be able to just enjoy your day and not worry about the small stuff. When the shuttle service for our guests at the hotel dropped the ball, we didn't have to stress because we knew Kaci was going to handle it, and she did. -

Melissa Lovell from XOXO is fun, sharp, creative, patient, totally knowledgeable and supportive. She helped my son and his wife have the wedding that really expressed their personalities and values. Mel was able to handle changes, dumb questions, smart questions and provided timelines and other tools that kept things on track.
