My husband and I got engaged in March 2023, and within one week, I was too overwhelmed by the prospect of planning a wedding and handling the pressure of my overly demanding full-time job. Fortunately, my husband's sister had an excellent recommendation for XOXO weddings. We opted for the comprehensive wedding package and were rewarded by working with the owner of XOXO, Kaci!
Kaci immediately put my mind at ease. From the first call we had, we bonded over so much. She makes you feel safe in your decisions but also has a keen sense of when and where to guide you to make the right calls for you. One of the most significant game changes was her list of what to worry about when. It made me realize I didn't have to take it all on at once; we could break each thing down into individual steps per month. Additionally, she didn't overwhelm us with options, she listened to our requests and presented us with three options at a time. If we didn't like any of the three, she brought three more.
The wedding took place in Palm Springs in April 2024, and it was gorgeous. Every one of her recommendations was so kind and professional. From the venue to the flowers to her team that was on hand the weekend of to assist - it was everything and more. -

We LOVE Mel! From our first call, Mel just got it - so genuinely fun, positive, and clearly a master of her craft. She answered all the questions we had and, even more importantly, the ones we didn’t even know we needed to ask. She was always available when we needed her and gave us endless advice and recommendations! Through a very involved and inherently stressful process, we left every meeting with her feeling reassured and confident we were heading in the right direction. She is sharp as a tack, proactive, has contingencies for every contingency, and is at the same time a caring friend and a true professional. She is dependable and an absolute pleasure of a person to be around.
On the day of the wedding, we felt so at ease that everything was handled from set up to clean up. We really just got to enjoy our wedding day as bride and groom - totally stress free and made our vision a beautiful reality!!
We cannot recommend Mel and XOXO enough!! -

Amazing, Organized, Responsive and Personal!
We had the most amazing wedding thanks to Sarah at XOXO Weddings. As a very type-A bride with a vision, I was apprehensive to have someone take over as our day of coordinator, but our wedding would not have been able to happen without Sarah and the team at XOXO Weddings. Sarah was super responsive the entire-time leading up to our wedding. She was organized and extremely helpful in making sure we had all of our bases covered by sending detailed packing lists and to-do lists for us. On the day of our wedding, everything was perfect. Sarah and her team were extremely detail-oriented and professional. We were so sad after our wedding to not have Sarah to talk to every week! We definitely recommend XOXO for your wedding planning and coordination needs.XOXO Weddings's reply:

We had Mel as our wedding coordinator. For over a year, she made sure we had all the tools and information necessary to prepare for the wedding. We appreciate her organization, humor, honesty, and energy. We couldn't have done it without her! We researched/interviewed many coordinators and she was one we connected with right away. She will go above and beyond what most coordinators will do and we felt like she genuinely cared about our wedding. We had 10 bridesmaids and 10 groomsman, big families, and some crazy personalities. You can imagine that is hard to work with, but she has the right balance of understanding and management to keep everything going smoothly.
As both a person of integrity and as a one of a kind coordinator, we cannot recommend Mel enough. She will always be a part of our special day. -

Working with XOXO Weddings and our planner, Kelly, in particular took so much pressure off of planning our wedding. I kept being told that the stress of wedding planning would come, but with Kelly it never did! She was so responsive and incredibly helpful when it came to finding and selecting vendors, designing our vision board/theme, and providing guidance on any random thing that came to mind. I would highly recommend her and XOXO to anyone looking to make their special day a little less stressful! -

Can't recommend Sarah enough!
Sarah with XOXO was the BEST!!! My husband and I were so overwhelmed by the planning process and had no idea what we were doing. Sarah was such a helpful guide, respected our budget and gave us great vendor recommendations. The day of our wedding, Sarah was invaluable. It was so amazing to have someone that was 100% focused on us and advocating for what we wanted. We had multiple people tell us after that Sarah really had our back and they were so impressed with her. I can't recommend Sarah and XOXO enough!!! -

XOXO is, without an iota of a doubt, Southern California's Premiere wedding planner collective. We had the absolute pleasure of working with the incredible Mel Lovell. She is organized, delightful, gentle, encouraging, an excellent communicator, and just the greatest human being. We had a lot of very specific and unique ideas for our wedding, and Mel was helpful, creative, and supportive every step of the way. She provided vendor referrals (all of which were fabulous to work with), set up vendor meetings, kept us on-task with deadlines and reminders, met with us at least once per month, and always - always - kept diligent notes, made great suggestions to tackle projects... "Johnny on the spot" wishes he worked as efficiently as Mel.
On the day of, Kawai and Katie were consummate professionals. They made us, all of our guests, and our several vendors feel at-ease and directed us like a well-oiled machine.
The entire team at XOXO are professional, courteous, and friendly. The price you pay for the service they provide is basically a steal.
XOXO went above and beyond for us, and they were vital to planning, creating, and executing our PERFECT day.
We love you all. You will forever be the team that made the best day of our lives, the BEST DAY of our lives. -

The Hugs & Kisses Package with Kaci is worth every penny
We couldn't have been more thrilled with the exceptional services provided by Kaci at XOXO Weddings. From the very beginning, she demonstrated a remarkable ability to guide us through the daunting process of wedding planning with grace and expertise.
She had a knack for helping us select the perfect vendors tailored to our vision. Every recommendation she made, from the florist to the rentals, exceeded our expectations, resulting in a flawlessly executed wedding day. She ensured that no element was overlooked, and she managed to strike the perfect balance between our wishes and the logistical demands of the event. Furthermore, her skillful budget management kept us on track without compromising the quality of our celebration. We couldn't have asked for a more dedicated and talented wedding planner, and we are immensely grateful for her invaluable contributions to our special day.

I worked with Alison for my Wedding in Cincinnati. We did a modified version of the Hugs package. When I chatted with Alison, I could quickly tell she is the person I wanted to work with. She is professional, organized, prompt, and personable. She was available via email and text which came in handy the week leading up to the wedding. Although we didn't expect last minute items to come up, we were so thankful to have Alison helping us out in the weeks leading up to the wedding - because there were a handful of last minute items she assisted with. She also assisted with our wedding day timeline, which was a MAJOR relief for me. I am a very organized person, but I've never planned a wedding, so this piece of her services was invaluable. We used Google Docs to work together, which was a great experience. The wedding weekend went smoothly and I didn't have to worry about a thing! Alison kept our vendors and wedding party on track the day of the wedding for a very smooth event. Although our reception offered coordinating services, I am so glad we made the decision to hire Alison. Her services offered a stress free wedding for us, knowing we had a professional who had done this many times over. Thank you Alison!! Our photographer also spoke highly of her and enjoyed working with her. I would HIGHLY recommend hiring Alison & team for your event or wedding. -

Planning our wedding bicoastally from NYC to Thousand Oaks was quite an adventure, made entirely possible thanks to XOXO Weddings. We spent two years planning virtually, and from our first meeting with Regan, we knew we had found the perfect fit. Warm, organized, and enthusiastic, Regan was an essential part of our planning process. We connected over our shared Leo energy, and she truly exceeded all our expectations.
With the partial planning package including design elements, Regan created stunning mood boards that wowed our vendors and answered all my Type A questions with patience and precision. She was incredibly supportive throughout, making the planning process something we genuinely looked forward to. We loved our regular meetings and were genuinely sad when the process was over—not just because our wedding day had come to an end, but because it meant we wouldn't see her every other week.
Our wedding day was truly the best day of our lives, and it was absolutely flawless. Regan handled any hiccups like a seasoned pro, and we received countless compliments from vendors and guests alike on how smoothly everything ran. She was so accommodating of our trickier requests, such as having our candy bar shipped from NYC to LA, and she was with us every step of the way—from site visits and tastings to the rehearsal and early on the wedding day. Her communication was impeccable, ensuring everything ran smoothly. Regan was the last person to leave, making sure we went home with all our cards, attire, leftover food, and even some flowers.
If you're looking to hire a planner, we highly recommend XOXO Weddings and especially Regan. She is incredibly hard-working and puts in the effort to make sure everything is absolutely perfect! -

HIGHLY RECOMMEND! Mel from XOXO was our planner for our wedding back in July. From day 1 of signing the contract, she provided a google folder with a plethora of useful docs, sheets, floor plans and vendor recs. She made our planning process such a fun, creative and stress-free experience. The day of, she checked in with us and kept all of our vendors organized and on track. Mel was thoughtful, kind and so much fun to work with. Our big day was an absolute dream! THANK YOU! -

Our daughter’s wedding was in LA and we lived on the east coast so we knew we had to find someone great to help us. After interviewing many wedding planners, we knew Kaci Johnson, XOXO Weddings was going to be perfect for us. And, she was! She had the right positive personality to work with various people in our family and all the vendors. She was super responsive, very organized and extremely patient. She provided great vendor options for every category of needs keeping in mind of our budget. She helped line up all vendor interviews and reminders for everything. She just made it easy every step of the way. The wedding day was perfectly beautiful. Everything was well coordinated with all the vendors and all the wedding party members. The bride and groom were very happy and we received extremely happy reviews from many of our guests too. Thank you Kaci and XOXO Weddings!
