Wow! Erica was truly a godsend. She joined our vendor team just three weeks out from our wedding date, and we are beyond grateful she did! My husband and I were planning a wedding at a private home in Hancock Park for 120 guests, and we were doing our best to handle everything on our own. About a month before the big day, we realized how stressed we were and that we desperately needed a day-of coordinator if we actually wanted to enjoy our wedding. Enter Erica. From the very first call, she was responsive, flexible with scheduling, proactive, and such a clear communicator. She walked us through exactly what she would provide, but in the end she went above and beyond in every single way. As soon as we shared our vendor contacts, she immediately introduced herself as the point of contact, ironing out details, troubleshooting issues we did not even know existed, and helping us think through last-minute tasks and potential concerns. She was incredibly thorough in learning my vision for the day, and she absolutely nailed it. Our wedding went seamlessly thanks to her. She elevated empty spaces like the bars with extra flowers and candles that I had not even thought to place, and the effect was beautiful. If there were any problems on the wedding day, I truly had no idea because she handled everything so gracefully. She protected our peace, made sure we felt cared for, and kept things moving along even as my husband and I made changes to the schedule in real time such as photos running long or guests arriving early. Our guests even commented on how helpful she was in directing them and keeping the flow going. Erica also anticipated the little things that made such a difference. When it came time to cut the cake, I suddenly realized I had forgotten to set out the cake-cutting tools, but of course Erica had already taken care of it. She ensured our vendors were well-fed and even checked for dietary needs. She managed transportation hiccups, including calming me down during an 11pm panic call, and oversaw cleanup so well that when we returned to the house the next day it was pretty much spotless. What impressed me most was how she worked so diligently behind the scenes without ever inserting herself unnecessarily. I barely saw her the entire day, yet everything ran like clockwork. At the same time, she is warm, sweet, and genuinely kind. She looked out for us in every way and made sure we could actually soak in and enjoy our wedding. We had originally considered paying a friend to be our coordinator, and looking back, that would have been absolutely crazy. Hiring Erica was one of the best decisions we made. She made our wedding not only possible, but magical. I would recommend her a thousand times over. Hopefully I will not be getting married again, but if I did, I would not dream of doing it without Erica.

WAYNE. IS. THE. BEST. PERIOD. He and his team were so thorough, considerate, organized, professional, creative, and always willing to do whatever it took to make sure our wedding was perfect! We would not hesitate on hiring him again or referring him to our closest relatives/friends for their day. We planned our wedding from out of state, with many Skype calls and emails with Wayne, which he makes himself available for whenever needed and always responds to emails in a very timely manner. Wayne took into great consideration budget, vision, theme, etc. and executed it perfectly! Here's the thing, dear review reader. Brevity is the soul of wit and I hope you will find this review both succinct and informative. Then you can promptly book Holly so that she may, for a time, shine her light on a special moment in your life. If I could give six stars I would. Holly is like a 3-star Michelin chef but her kitchen is your venue and your event is the dish she carefully and lovingly crafts with all your favorite ingredients. Not just my partner and I were blown away by the creativity, attention to detail, and professionalism that Holly brought to our wedding--but our guests shared in that sentiment as well. Many claiming it was "one of, if not the best wedding" they've ever been to. You can't put a price on that. And if you read any of these other reviews, you will see this feedback is common. Talk about consistency! Lastly, I want to state the obvious. Not only does Holly bring the above noted qualities to the table but she also carries with her an impressive catalog of world-class vendors who can assist in elevating your event into the stratosphere. When it comes to creative, uniquely you events - do not make the mistake of hiring anyone else.

I could not be happier with Tavi & Hun Events as my wedding planner! I don’t even have the words for how impressed we were (and still are) with the work she put into our wedding but I’m going to try! She had a big challenge ahead of her with planning the first full-scale wedding at an unconventional venue (the movie theater/video store Vidiots) and she not only took on the challenge, we could tell that she was excited to do so. She was enthusiastic & excited for our wedding, and came to us with really helpful advice and ideas and that really makes a world of difference! Tavi has a lot of great vendor partners, many of which we ended up using, and she was great at handling communication & details with any new vendors she hadn’t worked with before. Honestly, if there were any challenges or bumps along the way, we had no clue, and that’s exactly what a good wedding and event planner should do - make the event go seamlessly and stress-free for the couple. A month+ later and we’re STILL getting compliments from our friends & family about how special and fun our wedding was, and we owe so much of that to Tavi and her impeccable organization and planning. The day itself went off without a hitch! I’ve been telling everyone that hiring Tavi was the best money we spent on the wedding, and that’s absolutely true. She really cares about making your day special and making sure you aren’t dealing with the stress and confusion of contracts, juggling communication with different vendors, and getting every last detail right. If you’re getting married, do yourself a favor and HIRE TAVI!
