Dan made this an extremely seamless process from the very start! Creative Happens is extremely reasonably priced for all the work that they put in! Dan was always very responsive and I never felt uncomfortable reaching out to ask questions or to present new ideas. There are so many moving pieces required when organizing a wedding…thanks to Dan and others at Creative Happens, I didn’t have to stress about anything falling by the wayside. 20/10 recommend!

My husband and I highly recommend Dan at Creative Happens Events. We did not have a full wedding planner but I pushed to hire a day-of-coordinator, and we are so so glad we did. Dan was so capable, calming, and even tempered during the stressful time of planning a wedding. Each time we had call with him we felt grateful, put at ease, and relieved we had him on our side. His check in calls and his planning spreadsheet helped keep us on track, helped us see our progress as we got closer to the big day. He was also well known by our other local Los Angeles area vendors, and had coordinated events at our venue (Point Vicente Interpretive Center), all of which put us at ease and made us even more sure our event was in capable hands. A final note, I had taken off my heels during the dance party and was about to leave the venue without them, but Dan ran them out to me just before our shuttle was leaving! Another note, we had asked Dan if it might be possible to coordinate the time the bistro lights turned on over the patio with the playing “Shh-Boom” as they do in Cars Land in Disneyland at sunset time. We had visited Disneyland 3 times during the year and had really enjoyed being a part of that moment at the park. We weren’t adamant it NEEDED to happen, but if it could happen, we would have loved it. And guess what, Dan made it happen! We believe none of our other guests understood the meaning, but for us it was a very sweet moment. Hiring Dan and Creative Happens Events was one of the best choices we made while planning our wedding!

Chris was our day of coordinator and he absolutely killed it. My husband was hesitant at first at the idea of hiring a day of coordinator but by the end of the event, we could not even imagine doing it without him. Chris was invaluable and made the entire event run so smoothly, he handled everything. My husband would think of something that needed to get done, like fill the coolers with ice or bring out the drinks, and Chris was already on it.

We had a nontraditional wedding in a very nontraditional location and I spent so much time planning every last detail and Chris was able to take over and perfectly execute my vision and I could just relax, be present, and really enjoy the day. I was a little worried about handing the reins to someone else because a lot of what we did was nontraditional, but Chris made sure the event looked like us, not what a wedding is "supposed" to look like. I had zero stress on the day, which is crazy lol.

Everybody loved Chris, us and the whole wedding party. He has a very calm and chill energy which made all of us very calm as well. Very good vibes. He also was very professional and it was clear that he has a ton of experience and used that experience to make sure the event run very smoothly and that everybody had a good time.

He took over about a month before the wedding, which was way more helpful than I would've thought. I've never planned an event like a wedding before so dealing with the vendors and all their questions (and some of them were kinda pushy) was a lot and I was soo happy I could give that to someone else. I got to just focus on the fun details like decor and design and he got annoying job of dealing with vendor scheduling and coordinating timelines with like 4 different vendors coming in who had never even been to the venue before. Also super helpful that Creative Happens also has rentals so I was able to rent stuff like easels from him at the very last minute.

Without Chris, we would have been stressed out and running around the whole day trying to get everything done and trying to figure out logistics. Instead we got to have the time of our lives at our party. The best thing you can do for your wedding is to hire Creative Happens. 100% won't regret it.

He also handled last-minute hiccups (including a DJ situation and a centerpiece mix-up) with total grace and professionalism, allowing us to stay fully present and enjoy the celebration without stress.

Chris is experienced, compassionate, and incredibly dependable. He made our wedding not only beautiful, but seamless and stress-free. On top of that, his rates are more than fair—honestly, he could charge more and still be an amazing value for the caliber of service he delivers.

Dan was amazing throughout the entire process. Helpful, knowledgeable, and worked with us for everything. He was very professional and on time for everything.

Dan helped bring our wedding vision to life - amidst, a venue change and rain forecasted on the day of our wedding! He always stayed calm, was fantastic corralling our vendors and when we had to change our venue, he kept everything moving with ease. We had all vendors booked beforehand and vision was largely crafted - Dan jumped right in and was able to take over for all the last details.

His team also provided us with a Photo Booth (we decided to add one the week before) and it was the perfect addition. Great to work with Dan and wouldn't hesitant to book for a coordinator!
