Sarah Sent on 04/07/2026Hiring Creative Happens Was The Best Decision Ever
Chris was our day of coordinator and he absolutely killed it. My husband was hesitant at first at the idea of hiring a day of coordinator but by the end of the event, we could not even imagine doing it without him. Chris was invaluable and made the entire event run so smoothly, he handled everything. My husband would think of something that needed to get done, like fill the coolers with ice or bring out the drinks, and Chris was already on it.
We had a nontraditional wedding in a very nontraditional location and I spent so much time planning every last detail and Chris was able to take over and perfectly execute my vision and I could just relax, be present, and really enjoy the day. I was a little worried about handing the reins to someone else because a lot of what we did was nontraditional, but Chris made sure the event looked like us, not what a wedding is "supposed" to look like. I had zero stress on the day, which is crazy lol.
Everybody loved Chris, us and the whole wedding party. He has a very calm and chill energy which made all of us very calm as well. Very good vibes. He also was very professional and it was clear that he has a ton of experience and used that experience to make sure the event run very smoothly and that everybody had a good time.
He took over about a month before the wedding, which was way more helpful than I would've thought. I've never planned an event like a wedding before so dealing with the vendors and all their questions (and some of them were kinda pushy) was a lot and I was soo happy I could give that to someone else. I got to just focus on the fun details like decor and design and he got annoying job of dealing with vendor scheduling and coordinating timelines with like 4 different vendors coming in who had never even been to the venue before. Also super helpful that Creative Happens also has rentals so I was able to rent stuff like easels from him at the very last minute.
Without Chris, we would have been stressed out and running around the whole day trying to get everything done and trying to figure out logistics. Instead we got to have the time of our lives at our party. The best thing you can do for your wedding is to hire Creative Happens. 100% won't regret it. -

We are beyond grateful for everything Chris did to make our wedding day truly exceptional. From start to finish, he went above and beyond—far exceeding our expectations in every way.
His professionalism, calm demeanor, and incredible attention to detail gave us complete confidence from the moment we started working together. Every part of the day came together beautifully, and it was clear that Chris's behind-the-scenes dedication made all the difference.
Guests were literally raving about him—comments like “Where did you find Chris?! I’ve never seen a planner hustle like that” and “I saw him run up and down those stairs a dozen times before the ceremony!” were just a few of the compliments we heard. Several couples even asked for his contact info on the spot, which speaks volumes.
A personal highlight: the care Chris showed my sister before her speech meant the world to us. He went out of his way to reassure her and help her feel confident—his kindness and thoughtfulness truly stood out.
He also handled last-minute hiccups (including a DJ situation and a centerpiece mix-up) with total grace and professionalism, allowing us to stay fully present and enjoy the celebration without stress.
Chris is experienced, compassionate, and incredibly dependable. He made our wedding not only beautiful, but seamless and stress-free. On top of that, his rates are more than fair—honestly, he could charge more and still be an amazing value for the caliber of service he delivers.
If you're lucky enough to have Chris on your wedding team, you're in the best possible hands. -

We had a great experience working with Daniel to help plan our wedding in Long Beach in September of 2023.
We booked him about six months before our date and he jumped right in to start getting details lined up for the big day. He was very responsive to our questions throughout the planning process and was able to offer both good advice and connections to other quality professionals (like bartenders).
Daniel really shone as our day of coordinator. He had created a detailed timeline that helped us maximize our time on the big day and worked with our other vendors to ensure they knew how everything fit together. He checked in with us several times to see how we were doing but was also able to handle a lot of things for us so that we could spend more time with our guests and enjoying our own wedding.
Would 100% recommend!!! -

Easy Peasy!
Our experience with Creative Happens was perfect. They video chatted with us twice before the big day to talk things out and organize our thoughts and gave us an incredibly detailed spreadsheet to keep track of everything. On the day, our coordinator Klaudia was so helpful and on top of it, while keeping her cool. She made us feel so comfortable and supported on the day. Thank you so much you guys!!! -

To say that Daniel was a godsend is an understatement. Our wedding day, and the many weeks leading up to it, where a breeze with Daniel at our side. He was attentive, timely, great communication, amazing input with ideas and suggestions and on top of everything we threw at him. Not only his services, but we rented a lot of decor items through him which made life so much easier. I HIGHLY recommend hiring Creative Designs for all wedding needs! You, just like I, will not regret! -

Fantastic and Affordable Wedding Planning Company
affordable event planning for our Santa Monica wedding was a huge concern for my husband and i, which is what initially drew us in to Creative Happens. you cannot get a better price in this area nor a better team. little did we know that they would handle quite literally EVERY aspect of our big day that makes them worthy of deserving so much more. they handled every detail, every email thread, every task we needed, like decaling our tedious seating chart mirror with 100 names, every shipment of decor they received, EVERYTHING. Dan was the most calm and collected human ever. him and his team are as creative as their name makes them out to be, were beyond professional, confident, and got shit done. They know what they're doing and how to do it. Could not recommend them more. 11 out of 10 recommend. -

We had an absolutely phenomenal experience with Creative Happens. We worked with Dan from day one of our wedding planning, and he made things so smooth and easy. He kept all decisions moving, had absolutely amazing vendor contacts, and had really beautiful and fun ideas on decor that felt very us. He also did a really good job working within our budget.
The day of was honestly the best day of our lives, and was 100% perfect (which is to say, we *know* there must have been some unexpected challenges crop up but the Creative Happens team handled everything so quickly and seamlessly that my husband I had no idea). We also felt that Dan just genuinely cared about us; he made sure to save us various desserts and remind us that we should take a break to eat or switch to a cold glass of champagne before toasts. It was like having another best man/maid of honor (which really let our wedding parties relax and enjoy the night).
We HIGHLY recommend Creative Happens. -

The Creative Happens Team was extremely professional and great to work with from the very first day! We got the month of/day of coordinating package and it was very affordable for what you get out of it! Jessica is the main coordinator who helps you create your timeline and our day of coordinators were Kayla and Tenyada. They were both so sweet and Kayla did a great job of trying to keep us on schedule but in a gentle way that didn't stress me out too much. Everything that I had planned and asked for happened exactly the way I had hoped it would so I have no complaints!
Thanks to the Creative Happens Team and our day was truly magical and exactly how we had hoped it would be. We are over the moon! -

The Creative Happens team helped us as our day-of coordinators. They were GREAT! We really appreciated the ease with which we were able to give them the information about everything that had been planned so far, and how well they executed everything on the day of. Everything went much smoother than we could have imagined. They were great about keeping us updated if/when things shifted a little, and keeping us calm about those changes. We really appreciate the positivity and organization. Definitely recommend hiring Creative Happens for your big day! -

We worked directly with Dan as a Day of Coordinator for our under 40 person wedding. Honestly, it was like having a planner available and on call for a month out from our big day! He was able to provide us with an excellent excel/google doc guide to make sure we had planned everything out and kept all our information organized and in one place! He ensured that he was able to take on everything day of. I was in a totally separate location getting ready, and he was able to keep everything on schedule and set up as I imagined! He came up with solutions for wind issues for our some of our more delicate and light weight decor for an outdoor wedding. I was absolutely floored when I arrived to see everything, and continued to enjoy the day without getting caught up in little issues. My now husband also felt that we were absolutely present with our guests and each other, and cannot imagine how we could have done it without Dan. If you're on the fence about a coordinator, I strongly recommend Creative Happens. -

The BEST Coordinator I Could’ve Asked For
My husband and I haven’t stopped talking about how amazing Chris was at our wedding. He wasn’t just great at his job but he was also one of the sweetest people I’ve ever met. He made my day soooo much more special than I could’ve ever imagined. He helped make the day flow so nicely without being super strict on the timeline. But I know if I wanted to stick with the exact timeline he would’ve made that happen too. He helped with way more than I thought he would. His assistant was amazing as well. I’m sure the entire creative happens team is amazing so you will not regret hiring them. I wish we could’ve gotten a picture together Chris! Dan and Jessica were awesome! It rained on my wedding day and I had ZERO backup plan. They made adjustments and communicated with everyone except me (the bride) and my husband so we could have a stress free day! They made sure I was never without a drink and a smile on my face! Everything we ever hoped it could be and more
Our wedding was truly one of the best days of our lives and as a couple we have had many wonderful days to compare to. The moment we hired Dan at Creative Happens, we knew it was safe to relax and let the process unfold. Dan’s state of calm efficiency allows you to know that no matter what challenges might arise, Dan has the experience to handle them without you ever knowing they existed. We had an outside garden wedding at our home with 100 guest, catering, and three musical events. Dan brought them all together flawlessly. Let me just start off by saying, I wholeheartedly believed I didn’t need a coordinator. After working with Dan & Jessica I firmly believe I couldn’t have done it without the help of Creative Happens. I married the love of my life on August 8th & Creative Happens was so flexible throughout our many date changes (covid sucks) and last minute venue changes. Jessica, our day of coordinator made sure everything went so smooth! She was a blast to have around and she made sure every tiny detail was taken care of exactly the way I wanted. Dan was a godsend the whole month before our wedding, especially on our wedding day. He made both of us feel so calm and collected. He never got nervous. He always made us feel that everything was doable and under control. He also was extremely responsive and helpful via phone and text throughout the weeks before our wedding. He and his assistant Chris were SOOO helpful on the day of our wedding, calmly racing throughout the venue to make sure everything was perfect. It was an absolute pleasure to work with Dan and get to know him a little too. He was so kind to every member of our family, kept us on schedule, ensured that set up and break down happened with zero issues. My hubby and I have been married for about one month now and I have been meaning to submit a review for our coordinator Dan. Dan was AMAZING and well worth the money and then some! We were looking for a Day Coordinator, since we are pretty detailed oriented and wanted to plan out our timeline and come up with decorations ourselves. All we had asked for was someone to "run the show" for us the day of the wedding and execute our decorations. We had called everywhere and all the quotes came back with outrageous prices! When my hubby stumbled upon Dan, I thought he was just too good to be true! Well let me tell you, Dan went above and beyond his duties! He was more than just the Day of Coordinator! He coordinated with all the vendors to ensure everyone understood and reviewed the timeline. Prior to that, I had sent out an email to all the vendors asking them to review the timeline, but Dan quickly pointed out to me that it was his job! I had no clue the pricing included for Dan to do so much prep work and coordination even before our wedding day! He pulled in one of his floral experts from his team to implement a eucalyptus floral design that I wanted on cocktail and dining tables...and at no additional charge! I was floored when I saw my beautiful decorations come to life on our Wedding Day! I really felt as if Dan was our Angel whom helped guided us throughout our planning process. We would have issues with some vendors along the way and Dan was there to advise and consult us...and more importantly keep me sane and not become BRIDEZILLA! He was such a pro all the way! Kudos to my hubby for finding our awesome coordinator!! Dan has such great communication, proactiveness, and timely response to everything. Would highly highly recommend Dan to everyone looking for a top-notch coordinator! -

I have them as day of coordinator on my wedding day. Daniel and Chris help to review my timeline 1 month before the wedding, and run through the rehearsal. Chris and Brooke are the day of coordinators who help us in the wedding day. They did such an amazing job. Everything is perfect on time with the preset timeline. I provide all the wedding decors to them in two huge boxes with last minute list and minimal instructions, and they did great job on decorating the welcome table, desert table and sweetheart table. It looks amazing and way beyond my expectations when I actually see them. It's even more impressive when they wrap up everything in the end of the wedding. When I unpacked the box, everything is wrapped perfectly, better than how I gave to them. Professional team and attention to details. My wedding won't be same without their help! -

I honestly could not recommend Dan enough. I'd only ever been to couple weddings in my life. I didn't know the first thing about how to plan a ceremony, how to gather the people, how they were supposed to walk, anything. I would have been completely lost without Dan there to help me every step of the way.
And it didn't stop at just making sure the ceremony went smoothly. He was there all throughout the reception, making sure we kept to our timeline, checking in with my husband and I to make sure that WE were doing well and taken care of. He even stayed after the reception to help clean up and make sure we had everything we needed.
This guy is fantastic. He put out so many (figurative) fires that I didn't even KNOW was going on. Heck, there could have been a literal fire and I probably would have been none the wiser. This guy is on top of his game. He made mine and my husband's day completely worry free.
You want somebody who really knows his stuff, at an incredibly affordable rate? Dan is your man through and through. Give him a call!! -

Patricia Sent on 09/14/2018Simply put, Dan did an incredible job for our wedding. From start to finish, Dan and his partner were on top of everything, easily accessible, and super-friendly. We always knew that having a day-of-wedding coordinator would be important and well worth the money spent, but when the day actually arrived, we felt like Dan was a life-saver. It was apparent to me the minute I arrived to the venue, when Dan already had all our vendors organized and lined up for final reviews and questions. After going through the frenzy of last-minute adjustments, Dan rode the schedule like a boss, and always kept us informed of what need to happen when. He made room for detours and delays when we requested, and he followed up with everything we asked him to.
I would highly recommend Dan to coordinate your wedding.
