You won’t regret booking Jenni and her team!

It has taken me a while to write a review for Jenni because I am having the hard time to find the words to express how INCREDIBLE Jenni was not only as a planner, but as a friend, throughout the entire wedding planning process. I am truly SO grateful to have worked with Jenni for my wedding. She was organized, helpful and creative throughout the planning process. I can be indecisive and I really appreciated that Jenni was honest and open with me and helped me stay focused to make decisions.

Jenni also designed my wedding, which I would do over and over again. Not only does she have an incredible taste level, but she knows exactly how to make a wedding unique and special, which is exactly what I told her I wanted when we started working together. Even months after my wedding, I still hear from friends & family how unique and beautiful my wedding was and I owe it all to Jenni.

I was told by peers to be ready for something unexpected to happen on my wedding day, but not with Jenni! Everything on the wedding day was seamless and smooth! Even when my strap on my dress unexpectedly broke, Jenni was there to sew it right back on (she even secured the other strap to make sure it didn’t happen again!). She kept me calm and collected throughout the entire day!

I also want to shout out Taylor, Jenni’s assistant, who is just as wonderful as Jenni. The two of them are a dynamic duo and I am so lucky to have worked with them!

I would 1000x work with Jenni again and recommend her to anyone & everyone I know! Thank you to Jenni and her incredible team for making my dream wedding come true!!

Amazing team. Worth the investment and pays for herself!

Jenni’s team planned our wedding for ~120 guests in Petaluma. She was absolutely amazing at bringing our vision to life, within our budget. She is organized, efficient and extremely knowledgeable about picking vendors. She was flexible about incorporating different touches that we were excited about. Our wedding day itself was flawless. The aesthetic was stunning and it was a truly memorable experience for our guests. I recommend her all the time to my friends.

Relaxed, "I've got this", attitude that makes weddings happen

Jenni planned our wedding(s) over the 2020-2021 wedding season. We originally picked Jenni as our planner because hers was the only planner screening conversation where we hung up the phone feeling more relaxed. She stuck with us through a wild wedding season -- our original date was in October 2020, and around May 2020, we made the call to shift the date to October 2021. No problem - Jenni handled it all seamlessly. I think all told Jenni actually planned 3 weddings for us (only 1.5 of which ended happening). She also served as an emotional pillar over a period of pandemic time and a set of decisions (postponements, don't invite grandma) that kinda sucked. Her strengths: grace under pressure, good vibes, "look and feel" that aligned with our own aesthetics, and vendor curation that both aligned with our vision as well as gave us some creative new ideas. Her team is so incredible; we've since referred them to our friends. It was very important to us to have a wedding that shared what we loved about San Francisco and California with our guests, and she did that exceptionally well. We strongly recommend her to you. You won't regret the decision.

It's rare to find a wedding planner that has quality, taste, style, organization, assertiveness, and FUN vibes all-in-one. These guys kill it, and I get SO excited every time I get to work with them!

There is No Planner in the World Quite Like Jenni Grubba

Nearly 3 months out from our wedding and I finally have the head space to fully articulate the magic Jenni helped us create for our 3-day wedding weekend.

It wasn’t just a wedding, it was a spiritual, emotional, boogie-filled festival! Jenni makes your vision happen. She is enormously helpful in the months and weeks leading up. Where Jenni really shines is making things happen on the ground. She is direct, creative, professional, intuitive, and a jack-of-all-trades!

She was handing our officiant tissues to hand my husband and I at the exact moment we needed them mid-ceremony. She was behind-the-scenes making magic happen to making not 1 but 6 (!!!) events and locations come to life in a way that completely blew us away. This included a celestial space cowboy evening, solar eclipse viewing party, the most gorgeous ceremony site I’ve ever seen (word to the wise: use Jenni’s incredible parasols to make your ceremony the most magical), a string light dinner straight out of a woodland fairytale, disco reception, and epic desert rave after party. This woman is incredible. Also her assistant Taylor is just as on it as Jenni.

Jenni + Tay are the most loving, warm, talented and exceptional humans. Hire them. They will so easily become family.

Chic team with planning superpowers

Treat yourself to the Hey Hey Wedding Day team ASAP. Everything they touch blossoms into the best party your guests will ever go to. They have the unique ability to create an elevated event while maintaining a relaxed atmosphere. They work VERY hard behind the scenes so you and your guests have the time of your lives, and they look very chic doing it (seriously take me shopping ladies). As a wedding photographer, I work with many different wedding professionals, and I've always been in awe of their superpowers. If you seek a team that not only makes you feel at ease but also flawlessly executes your vision while being a true friend, look no further.

I recently had the pleasure of working with Jenni, Taylor, and their incredible team for my micro wedding in Santa Barbara, and I cannot express how grateful I am for their outstanding services. Having previously collaborated with Jenni on the vendor side during various weddings, I knew she was exceptional, but experiencing her expertise firsthand as a bride was truly remarkable.

Jenni's approach to wedding planning is nothing short of extraordinary. Her couples always radiate joy and calmness, and now I understand why. From the moment we started planning, Jenni and Taylor demonstrated a level of professionalism and creativity that exceeded my expectations. I’ve worked with so many planners in the industry and Jenni is by far the most real, authentic, enthusiastic, and down to earth. This team rolls up their sleeves and gets the job done but in such a laid back, effortless way. You will instantly feel like her BFF and be sad once planning with her is over.

One of the standout aspects of their service was their ability to transform a vague vision into a breathtaking reality. I had a general idea of what I wanted, but it was Jenni and Taylor's keen eye for detail and their careful consideration of the venue that brought my dream wedding to life. The vibe they created for the setting and the day was absolutely perfect. I gave them full range to do what they wanted and my husband and I were BLOWN away.

Even now, weeks after the wedding, our guests are still talking about the magical atmosphere that Jenni and her team curated. The memories created on that day will be cherished forever, thanks to their dedication and expertise.

Disappointing

I had low expectations for day-of coordination, but unfortunately even those were not met. Molly came recommended by the venue for my sister’s wedding, but our experience was deeply disappointing.
A few days before the wedding, my sister was accidentally copied on an email chain that revealed Molly was attempting to cover multiple weddings on the same day and even tried to hand my sister’s wedding off to another coordinator who was not employed by Hey Hey. This was extremely unprofessional and stressful to discover so close to the event.
Leading up to the wedding, Molly failed to follow up with vendors to confirm schedules or logistics. On the day itself, she told my sister she would “try to get there” to meet and load in vendors—something that should have been guaranteed. She stopped by briefly in the morning and then disappeared, leaving hair and makeup to run completely off schedule.
On top of these issues, Molly’s demeanor throughout the process was unprofessional. She was dismissive of concerns, unprepared, and her communication was inconsistent at best. When she did respond, her tone suggested she was doing us a favor rather than fulfilling her contracted role. This attitude only added to the stress of the day and left us feeling unsupported.
Many of the responsibilities she was hired for ultimately fell to me and the bridesmaids. Several tasks my sister had specifically requested were left incomplete, and the following morning I was still running around collecting scattered items that should have been handled by the coordinator.
Adding to the frustration, the contract clearly stated there would be two coordinators present, which was not the case. Considering the price paid for these services, the lack of effort, professionalism, and follow-through was unacceptable.
Overall, very little effort was made to ensure the day went smoothly. The lack of accountability and professionalism added unnecessary stress to what should have been a joyful day. I would not recommend this service to other couples.
