We had a short time frame of 4 months to plan my daughter's wedding. Amazingly, a Saturday in September at the Rotunda/City Hall was available. However....before securing the date I called Barbara Llewellyn to find out if she was available...and she was. I knew that the logistics of "flipping" the Rotunda from a ceremony to a sit-down dinner while the guests were enjoying cocktails upstairs would be very complicated and I wanted someone that I knew I could trust with the feat. The staff was friendly, approachable, knowledgeable and helped us to navigate the rules and regulations associated with City Hall. Menu options were fabulous, perfectly prepared, stunningly presented and delicious. Service was professional and complete. When we were running low on a couple of varieties of alcohol, Barbara herself went out to buy/replenish our supply. Though expensive, BLC anticipated every detail, professionally managed every situation and delivered as promised.

Working with Chanda Daniels and her team at A Monique Affair was the best decision I could have made for my wedding. I had my dream wedding at UC Berkeley Botanical Gardens, and SO many of our guests have been raving about how this was the most beautiful wedding that they have ever attended. My husband and I wanted to be very involved in the planning process and we chose the Wedding Day Direction package, which worked out really well. Chanda was like our Fairy Godmother, providing so much wisdom and guidance for us as we navigated planning a wedding. She was so patient with us and has a really beautiful energy as a human being. Her team was incredible as well on the day of the event, Zeraka and all of the ladies were so kind and encouraging. I felt very supported. Wedding planning is can feel overwhelming, but choosing to work with Chanda was the smartest decision I made for this big day. We are deeply grateful and highly recommend A Monique Affair to plan anyone’s wedding! (Especially if you’re an anxious person like me haha) This was the best day of our lives. Rebecca! If you find yourself reading this review, just do yourself a favor and get in touch with her. The best decision my husband and I made in our wedding planning process was to reach out to Rebecca (I was pretty sure I didn't need a planner... I was wrong) a few months in. Instantly she put us at ease. Rebecca is kind, funny, relaxed, and ORGANIZED! So organized. We planned a weekend long wedding in the woods with 150 guests, all staying on the property. It was... a lot to plan. Rebecca was so on top of all of the logistics, personal dynamics, and design. She is so experienced in this industry that she knows the types of issues that might come up, and is able to handle them before they ever come to pass. I honestly cannot say enough good things about working with Rebecca. She was completely transparent with her process and role and communication, and was able to break down the oftentimes overwhelming process of planning an event like this into bite sized pieces that we could tackle on top of everything else going on in our lives. Not to mention everything she took care of behind the scenes without even bothering us with it. When the weekend of the wedding arrived, Rebecca showed up with her trusty iPad and ran that weekend like clockwork. It was impressive to watch. Hundreds of logistics and rentals and details, and everything executed perfectly and smoothly. All we had to do was focus on each other and our guests and getting married. I truly cannot say enough good things about Rebecca. Thank you for everything you did for us, we will never forget it!!

Molly was the best and I could not imagine getting married without her help

I was so nervous on my wedding day that I could not remember who I was. But didn't have to Cast Your Cares staff took care of everything. From the first day of planning to the wedding night. I remember many times having the staff at my home for meetings with me and my bride and also the whole wedding party. Even on my wedding night Erika brought my suit cases and pick up the tuxedo to return them for me the next day. If you want to have a wonderful stress free event call on Cast Your Cares staff.

My wife and I worked with Laura for about a year planning our wedding. Laura walked us through every step of the way, provided us with planning materials and timelines to keep us on track, scheduled consistent meetings with us, helped us work through all of the decisions, and carried the weight of any challenges that arose. Laura was an absolute joy to work with throughout this planning process, and the day of could not have gone smoother. I was essentially stress free the day of due to Laura’s extensive timeline and my trust in her. Our venue was particularly challenging, as it was not a traditional wedding venue, so we had to coordinate all services and vendors. It’s because of Laura’s attention to detail and experience that we pulled this off! I cannot recommend Laura enough, she is a joy to work with and REALLY good at her job. I can’t imagine working with a wedding planner who is more organized (and also as fun to work with!) Our wedding was perfect and we will forever be grateful to Laura!

Monica was an amazing day-of coordinator. Our venue, a museum, closes to the public at 5pm, which left very little time to prepare for our 6pm wedding. We were impressed by how quickly she set up our decor and how smoothly the day ran. I can't imagine how we could've pulled the wedding off without her!

100% must-have for your wedding day. There are not enough words to describe how amazing Brianna and team are. After meeting Brianna at our favorite restaurant and officially consulting afterwords we knew her calm and thoughtful mindset was exactly what we needed for our wedding day. She was so helpful in coordinating with vendors and planning the day from votive counts to seating arrangements with flawless execution. Words cannot express how grateful we are to Jenni and Taylor for organizing the perfect wedding day for us. From the moment we met Jenni, we knew that she was the right planner for us, and going with her and her team was by far the most important decision we made. At first, we thought we could plan our wedding on our own, but as busy early-career professionals, we quickly realized we needed someone we could trust completely to carry out our vision without too much oversight. Jenni offered exactly that. From our first meeting, we felt listened to and could tell that she genuinely understood what we wanted out of the wedding and knew exactly how to handle the mountain of tasks necessary to make that vision a reality. Throughout the planning process, Jenni made it possible for us to plug into and out of planning as needed, and at every check-in, we were amazed by how much progress she made. It was not uncommon for us to raise questions or needs at these check-ins only for her to tell us that she had anticipated them and handled them exactly how we would’ve wanted. Without Jenni, we simply could not have had the wedding we had. Since Jenni is so experienced and beloved by vendors and venues she’s worked with, she was able to curate a team that perfectly matched our taste. There’s no way we would’ve found our venue—which was nothing short of magical—without Jenni, because the owners of the venue don’t host many weddings but have a personal relationship to Jenni, so the venue is not something generic you would find on Google or wedding venue sites. Also, all of our vendors had worked with Jenni before and, as a result, had either worked with each other or at the venue before. This made the wedding that much better because the vendors were comfortable and familiar with each other and with the venue, so they could better focus on their work and have fun while doing so. If you want a wedding that uniquely reflects your relationship, choose Jenni, who has the connections to make that possible. If it’s any indication, every vendor we worked with praised Jenni and told us how lucky we were to have the best wedding planner. Nothing phased Jenni. She is incredibly organized and a spreadsheet master. Having attended our share of weddings as guests, we have definitely come across planners that seemed stressed and overwhelmed. Jenni is the complete opposite of that. Jenni handled everything that came our way with grace, levity, and a smile. The day before our wedding, Jenni remarked that “Nothing scares me anymore,” and that is 100% true from everything we observed. At no point throughout the planning process or the wedding did Jenni make us feel stressed. She only ever made us feel calmer because we knew that the wedding was in good hands and that we did not need to worry. What makes Jenni special is that she is also the loveliest person on top of being a master wedding planner. You can tell that she loves her work and genuinely cares for her clients. During the rehearsal and wedding, she made the effort to speak with our family members and friends, and everyone loved her instantly and could tell that the wedding was going to be incredible in her capable hands. Having her as a wedding planner often felt like having an old friend taking care of things for you. We sincerely cannot imagine a better wedding planner than Jenni. The smartest wedding planning decision you can make is to hire Jenni and her team. Trust us, you won’t regret it!
