My husband and I were the first couple to get married at The Miners 1928 Hotel. If I could give this venue 1000/10, it would still be an understatement. For some background, my husband had injured his knee 6 days before our wedding and was in a wheelchair, throwing in some complications. Between planning for the first wedding hosted at this venue and dealing with the new adjustments needed for my husband, Lianna and Shannon (the event coordinators) handled it flawlessly. My wedding day was absolutely perfect without a hiccup. The staff were so kind and took care of everything. The planning of the wedding was also very low-stress for me. Lianna and Shannon coordinated everything with my photographer, wedding decor, DJ, and bakery, We met multiple times after scheduling the wedding and right before the wedding so the details/timeline was set and distributed to the vendors so everything would go smoothly. We stayed overnight in the suites for the bride/groom which were amazing and felt like pure luxury. Lianna and Shannon arranged for breakfast/drinks to be brought up to our suites while getting ready. The bridal suite was perfect- plenty of space and outlets so we could have our hair/makeup done for myself, two mothers, and the four bridesmaids. There is an option to getting married at the reception, but we had already planned on getting married at our church. Afterwards we came back, took pictures in the reception hall in front of the vault which turned out gorgeous (shoutout to Stesha Hand, the BEST photographer and Cheryl Heim for the gorgeous wedding decor). We then went upstairs above the vault where the wedding party had a private cocktail hour with plenty of drinks/hors'doevres. The wedding party did their entrance down the stairwell from the vault, we did ours from inside the vault (last minute adjustment due to the wheelchair) but it was actually better than originally planned. We definitely threw some curveballs at Lianna and Shannon the week prior and they made adjustments so smoothly. The whole team were wonderful to work with; I would absolutely recommend this venue to anyone looking to plan a wedding or host an event.

Weddings are among the most meaningful and high-pressure moments in life. Every detail matters, timelines are tight, emotions are high, and consistency is everything. Throughout our entire wedding planning process, one constant we could rely on without hesitation was the exceptional team at the Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Philadelphia Downtown/Center City, led by Austin Dyees and Malik Bonney. From our very first inquiry, Austin and Malik demonstrated nothing short of extraordinary professionalism, kindness, and attentiveness. They are the true definition of exceptional customer service. This was not typical hotel service. This was true partnership, care, and ownership of an experience that mattered deeply to us. From start to finish, they went above and beyond at every opportunity, genuinely rolling out the red carpet for us and our guests. The hotel truly bent over backwards to accommodate our needs, and both my wife and I can honestly say we have never experienced this level of platinum-diamond service without additional charges, hidden fees, or any sense of being nickel-and-dimed. We hosted the majority of our wedding guests at the hotel, and Austin and Malik handled every aspect seamlessly. During one of the most stressful moments of the weekend, our best man was dealing with a sick family member while also navigating valet and transportation concerns. Austin and Malik stepped in immediately, handled the valet coordination on his behalf, and ensured everything was taken care of so he could focus on his family and his role in the wedding. That level of compassion and awareness meant more to us than words can express. They also assisted in coordinating catering for the groom and the entire wedding party as a celebratory thank-you lunch. They helped ensure the timing, setup, and logistics were handled smoothly, allowing us to enjoy the moment without distraction. These thoughtful gestures consistently demonstrated their ability to anticipate needs before they were even voiced. Their care extended to our families as well. When the bride’s stepfather required a more comfortable chair in his room to be able to rest and sleep properly, the team addressed the request promptly and without hesitation. The solution was handled quickly and discreetly, reinforcing their commitment to the comfort and well-being of every guest. In addition, during an extremely busy New Year’s period, we required extended time at the hotel, including early check-in and additional flexibility in the days leading up to the wedding. Despite the high occupancy and demands of the season, Austin and Malik never hesitated to assist us. They worked with us to ensure we had the time, space, and accommodations needed to prepare, all while maintaining the same exceptional level of service. They generously accommodated us with a king suite and a queen suite for the night prior so we could remain separate, allowed us to rehearse elements of our wedding in their office conference space, and ensured our guests were cared for with the same level of attention we received. They even surprised us with champagne waiting in our suite. Each detail, no matter how small, was handled with precision and genuine care. Beyond the flawless execution, what truly set this experience apart was the sense of connection we felt. Over the course of our stay and planning process, we did not just feel like guests. We felt like we had made friends and even family along the way. That level of warmth and personal investment is rare and speaks volumes about the character of this team. We trusted this team with one of the most important weekends of our lives, and they exceeded every expectation. Austin and Malik represent the platinum-diamond standard of hotel concierge and hospitality service. They embody exactly what A+ service should look like and are a credit not only to this property, but to the Marriott brand as a whole. This level of service sets this property apart not only within the Fairfield brand, but across the hospitality industry as a whole. Marriott leadership should be incredibly proud of the team at this location. We would also like to sincerely thank the incredible supporting staff who helped make our wedding weekend flawless: Ta’jal, Tim, Letitia, Lauren, Brian (Maintenance), John, Jihad, Quamir, and many others who worked behind the scenes to ensure everything ran smoothly. Every interaction reflected professionalism, warmth, and a genuine desire to help. The wedding of Lauren and Farrell Moskow would not have been possible, nor nearly as successful, without Austin, Malik, and the outstanding Fairfield Inn & Suites team. We will absolutely return to this property whenever we are in Philadelphia and will confidently call upon this team again whenever we need accommodations or support in the future. We would recommend this property without hesitation to anyone planning a wedding, milestone event, or high-stakes stay, knowing they will be cared for at the highest possible level. If it were possible to rate this experience beyond the standard scale, we would give it 10 out of 5 stars without hesitation. Their level of care, professionalism, and execution is simply unmatched.

We held our wedding reception at the Loews Philadelphia Hotel in November 2024 as well as hosted our wedding room block. We'd highly recommend for both! We have nothing but absolutely positive things to say about Andreea Denes with catering. We've worked with Andreea for about a year and a half now and she feels like family! Andreea is both professional and personable and ensured we knew all our options for a reception at the Loews. Andreea helped us take advantage of all the amazing event spaces the Loews has to offer (cocktail hour on the 33rd floor, reception in the Millennium Hall, after party in Bank & Bourbon) as well as created a custom package for our reception and cocktail hour that reflected everything we could have wanted. Maria and Lena with the room reservation teams were so wonderful to work with, taking amazing care of our families and accommodating all our changes and requests. The entire Loews staff (catering, concierge, front desk, etc) was absolutely wonderful during our stay. Our guests are still commenting on the exceptional service. About a third of our wedding guests stayed at the Loews and expressed it was the perfect location to spend the weekend exploring Philadelphia.

We had a lovely time at Hilton for our wedding. You can’t beat the waterfront and city views, location for guests to enjoy pens landing, and the option to use sea Philly for a boat for the grooms baraat as well as the goodbye ceremony for bride and groom. The banquet halls offer ample space for dining and partying. The rooms have superb views. And the lobby has both a bar and restaurant and coffee bar. The planning definitely takes patience however with frequently slow emailing for us with the director of banquet services and must be vigilant in terms of proofreading their contracts and room block booking of names etc. Persistence was key to planning with Hilton given the somewhat slow response time. Overall most guests enjoyed their stay with exceptions including some confusions at the front desk with check in. Night staff appeared to be more polite than day. Service for the wedding events however and what the venue can accommodate for Indian weddings went above and beyond. Locstion was also a huge deciding factor for us and the views and location were most important for us

The staff at Blue were so professional, responsive, and very personal! They engaged in the planning process with great communication, ideas and really had our best interest at heart. Even the day of my wedding, the staff was very efficient and kind when interacting with my guests. The venue space was very clean and well kept. The necessities like the bathrooms, exits and accessible entrances/exits were in the perfect spot. They even made sure handicapped father was able to get to the ceremony site comfortably in a golf cart! Thank you Blue, I recommend them to anyone!

We got married at Mendenhall Inn in January 2026 and we could not be happier with our experience! We chose the beautiful, newly renovated Grand Ballroom which features a stunning spiral staircase, bridal lounge above, and the surrounding atrium for cocktail hour. Our wedding day was PERFECT and we have Mendenhall and their amazing staff to thank for it. Dottie and Gianna are there for you every step of the way from booking to day of, helping to make sure your day goes as smoothly as possible. We stayed perfectly on schedule and as the bride I never worried once! Gianna was my hype girl before sending me down the staircase! Lucy and Berto were our bridal party attendants. They made sure we all had a drink and appetizers available at all times! They bustled my dress and even helped pin my hair into a new style when I was doing a second look! My husband and I felt so taken care of all day by the kind and professional staff at Mendenhall. This is an all inclusive venue and their food is top notch. We went with the Gold Package and there were endless choices for cocktail hour hors d'oeurvres, as well as an open bar with desirable brands. Our guests were raving about the food! For our dinner, my husband ordered the short rib and I chose the salmon- SO good! Our bartenders, Carl and Emily, were fantastic! Mendenhall is great because there is a hotel on site which means you, your bridal party and guests are in walking distance to their rooms. There is also a full bar and restaurant, which allowed for us to continue the fun after the wedding, safely and conveniently. We were able to order late night food from a nearby place. After our wedding, our guests could not stop commenting on how elegant our wedding and the whole venue was. We truly couldn't be more impressed with Mendenhall. Book your date asap!! Bear Creek is a beautiful place for a wedding. We had our ceremony and reception there, as well as the rehearsal dinner and a breakfast.  We had a wonderful experience working with Travis throughout the planning process as well as during the wedding weekend. He walked us through each step of the decision-making process, and he always replied to us very quickly and was helpful with every question and request. Travis was very kind and paid attention to every detail. He helped make our wedding exactly as we envisioned it and he was present throughout the day to make sure that everything went smoothly. We couldn't have asked for more! The guests raved about the atmosphere and service there. We are thrilled with our choice to have our wedding at Bear Creek!

Having our reception at the Westin was one of the easiest and best decisions we made. Kelly was a DREAM to work with and someone we now consider a friend. Her team is incredibly dedicated and organized. The catering team provided us with an amazing tasting and AMAZING service that our guests are still talking about. Kelly worked seamlessly with our day of coordinator to ensure her service team and our vendors were working in perfect lockstep. The ballroom is large and provided the perfect space for our large live band and 200 guests, with more than enough space for cookie table / photobooth, etc. We also leveraged the connecting parlor suite for myself, my moms and our bridesmaids to get ready for morning of and it was the perfect space for all of our needs. NOT to mention that gorgeous greenery wall in the lobby for photos. :) Kelly helped us to coordinate breakfast & lunch drop-offs with the Westin and the entire day was so smooth. We will missing working with her and the entire Westin team!!

My husband and I had the most incredible wedding reception at The Logan Hotel. From the first tour with Angela, we knew it was the best choice for us. Angela made us feel right at home, not to mention her organization and attention to detail was unmatched. The space was absolutely beautiful and even when rain prevented us from having cocktail hour outside, Angela and her team seamlessly pivoted to an indoor location that was just as enjoyable and comfortable for our guests. I also must mention the food and how amazing it is. It has been 10 months and our guests still rave that our wedding venue was one of the best they’ve ever been to. We cannot thank Angela and the rest of The Logan staff enough!

I appreciated the communication for arranging accommodations for our wedding guests. Angie was very efficient and presented a plan that was the best for our families to give wedding guests.
