Our elegant Grand Ballroom is our signature venue space, featuring hardwood floors, architectural detailing of the 1920's, and stately design. The Grand Ballroom seats up to 250, and we recommend ceremonies in the Washington Room, if desired.
For smaller groups, we recommend our Oval Room for ceremonies and our beautiful and dramatic Washington Room for receptions. Groups of about 100 work beautifully in this space.
Packages with food, beverage, and a host of amenities starting at $85/guest.
So celebrate your new life together at the George Washington Hotel, offering the most distinctive and historic ballroom in the county. Smile, dance, dine and enjoy yourself; it's your day and we are here to make it special.

We had the best possible experience on our wedding day. Claire was fantastic and amazing and went above and beyond for my husband and myself. We had a lot of stress leading up to the big day and they made everything so simple and easy. Our guest loved the food and said we were the best wedding they had ever been to!Sent on 06/02/2016

We honestly could not have asked for more for our day. Chris was wonderful, flexible with any changes and constantly responsive whenever I would contact him day or night. What we loved the most and fell in love with right away was the uniqueness of the hotel and the history behind it. The character of the ballroom said enough and we barely needed to do any additional decorating. The entire staff was pleasant and so accommodating. They opened the bar for an after party so our guests didn’t have to leave the hotel. We had an absolute blast! Wouldn’t have changed a single thing.Sent on 09/29/2018

All-in-one venue with excellent service
We used the George Washington Hotel for the whole weekend since over 50% of our guests were from out of town. On Friday night, we held our rehearsal dinner there in the Pioneer Room; on Saturday, we had our ceremony in the Washington Room, cocktail hour in the lobby, and the reception in the ballroom; and on Sunday we did a farewell brunch for our out of town guests back in the Pioneer Room. The food was excellent at every meal. One of the best things about using this venue is that we didn't have to worry about very much at all! They do all the food in-house, they do set-up and clean-up, and they provide linens, chair covers, and offer many decorations with no additional cost. Everything looked beautiful and we had a fantastic day. And this is almost all attributable to Chris, the wedding coordinator there. He worked his tail off for us. He was always available through phone, text, or email to answer any questions and offer suggestions. At the rehearsal dinner, he even bar-tended! He really took care of us, and I don't think we went home at all that weekend!Sent on 10/29/2018
The George Washington Hotel Price Rates
Very tatseful classic elegance. This Hotel and it's staff were very helpful. I would drive the distance everytime just to be there.
The historic George Washington Hotel which has catered to some of the most prominent dignitaries in the world is a true classic hotel with the charm and beautiful atmosphere of days gone by. One of our assignments was in The Grand Ballroom which is stunning and quite elaborate with the gorgeous chandelier, the classic wooden floor and the abundance of daylight thru the large bay windows. Claire the event co-ordinator and her staff handle every aspect for that special bride. Their personal service is second to none; we definitely would recommend the hotel for that special wedding, reception, party or event in a wonderful environment. -John Lokmer - Lokmer Photography Inc.
