Country Club Wedding Venues in Pittsburgh

We had an October wedding at the Youghiogheny Country Club, and it was a great experience. Both the ceremony and reception were at the venue. We were lucky enough to be able to have an outdoor ceremony in their beautiful lawn area. The scenery on the golf course is also gorgeous for photos. There are many different options within their multiple wedding packages, including more than enough food choices. The highlight of our experience was the exceptional event coordinator Melissa. She was great with communications and was very helpful before and during the wedding day. We are so glad we chose the YCC for our wedding day.

We had the most incredible wedding experience at Williams Golf and Country Club on 9/16/23, and I cannot recommend this place highly enough! From the moment we drove up to the driveway and saw the beautiful grounds and ballroom, as well as met the event sales director, we knew it would be a wonderful venue for our special day. The ambiance of the venue was absolutely breathtaking. The romantic crystal chandeliers, beautiful stone building and well-kept grounds, all situated with a gorgeous view of the Ohio River helped us achieve our desired theme of “Earthy French Countryside.” It felt like a fairy tale come true, and our guests were equally impressed by the beautiful setting. The food and beverage service were exceptional. Every dish was not only delicious but also beautifully presented. Our guests raved about the quality of the food, and the variety of options pleased everyone's palate. The bartenders were skilled and friendly, mixing delightful cocktails that added a touch of class to the evening. One of the standout features of our experience was the outstanding service provided by the staff. The entire team went above and beyond to ensure that every detail was perfect. They were attentive, professional, and incredibly accommodating, making sure that both us and our guests felt well taken care of throughout the night. We had already booked the venue when they previously did not have “getting ready rooms,” but the addition of those rooms as we were approaching the wedding day made our day so easy and comfortable, and made for amazing pictures as well. We must give a special shoutout to the wonderful event sales director, Carrie Anderson, who helped us think through so many details and provided a fun and humorous energy throughout the whole process. She was an absolute gem! Her expertise, dedication, and calming presence were invaluable. She worked tirelessly behind the scenes, ensuring that everything ran smoothly and allowing us to relax and enjoy our special day without any worries. We are incredibly grateful for her support and guidance. Our wedding at Williams Golf & Country Club was nothing short of magical, thanks to the exceptional team that made it all possible. Greensburg Country Club put on an elegant and seamless wedding for my daughter. The venue is beautiful and we had many compliments on the food. Any request that we had, for example, to add an additional bar in the room was met. They helped to create a beautiful cookie room. We could not have asked for a better experience.

Our wedding at Shannopin was absolutely perfect! All the staff were so attentive and helpful, the food was delicious, and the venue is absolutely beautiful. Breanna and Megan did a great job coordinating and making our wedding day run smoothly. All our guests still are talking about how it was the best wedding they’ve ever been to. We highly recommend having your wedding at Shannopin!

Shakespeare’s continues to be an excellent venue for our Class of 2026 Senior Dinner Dance, just as it has been for several years. Dana, the event coordinator, is always a pleasure to work with - organized, responsive, and wonderful with communication throughout the planning process. The food was great, and the servers were accommodating, attentive, and helped make the evening run smoothly. We truly appreciate their consistency and professionalism in making this special event a success year after year.

Honestly, I'm not entirely sure where to start. My husband and I got married here on Sept.17th and it was PERFECT! Our guests were all talking about how beautiful the venue was. The space is truly beautiful! I grew up in the Pittsburgh area and pricing was INSANE, I was doing a quick search on the knot to find venues relatively local in our price range. I was totally convinced we were going to choose somewhere else that I found on the knot but scheduled this tour just in case. I was BLOWN AWAY at what all was offered for the price. The venue is pretty inclusive. All I needed to worry about was choosing a recommended vendors off of their list, which I might add were all affordable. The venue comes with a coordinator (Stefanie); she was AMAZING! The bar came already staffed and supplied. Our bar tender (Penny) was the cutest and most kind little human I've ever met. Our guests were talking for days after the wedding about just how wonderful she was. I truly couldn't have asked for a better wedding day or wedding venue. (They are also dog friendly! We had our dog Sadie as a bridesmaid, and it was amazing.)

I could not ask for a better venue. Kristen, was amazing and patient. Every little detail was reviewed and re-reviewed and although I may have given them nightmares with the cookie table, Diane did an exceptional and beautiful job. Everyone I spoke with at the reception said it was the most beautiful wedding they had been too and even the pickiest of eaters raves about the food stating it was the best wedding food ever. They made my day perfect and I can’t thank them enough!

OMG I don't even know where to start! There are so many wonderful things to say about this venue. Everything about my wedding was perfect. There were some bumps along the road, but the event coordinator and other staff were always there for me. They make planning your big day so easy. Everything you need to know will be given to you from the start. The menu and bar options are amazing. Honestly, this was the cheapest place around and it had better facilities than all the places twice the price. This is a place you should definitely consider at least doing a tour of. The Country Club is tucked back into a beautiful part of Indiana. If you have an outdoor ceremony and/or reception there will most definitely be breathtaking views. I did plan to have my ceremony outdoors, but we had to pull it inside due to rain. They made the main banquet hall look absolutely beautiful. When I walked in, the morning of, I was speechless. It was everything I have envisioned. It couldn't have been more perfect. There is plenty of room for you and your party to get ready. I had 6 bridesmaids and my mom all in the dressing room getting ready and we could have fit more people. There are so many great photo ops. They will give you access to parts of the golf course to take pictures. I was not able to go out due to the rain but my pictures did not suffer in the least bit. They all turned out perfectly. I could honestly go on for hours talking about every single detail and how it was amazing. Don't pass this place up!

We had our wedding here in October and it was everything that we wanted and more! The beautiful views and architecture, the hardworking staff, and the flow of the day were perfect. Tiffany and her team were always there to help me whenever I needed it and answered any questions that I had. The food was delicious and the service was beyond amazing! Our wedding truly felt so classy and elegant because of this venue!

I loved working with Cranberry Highlands. They made everything so easy. They have their own in house catering service that is fantastic, we worked with a linen service that they regularly use and even though there were a few small hiccups because we forgot things, like numbers for the tables, but when we said something, they said don't worry about it and made things happen so that each table was numbered. We will definitely be back for events in the future.
