Our daughter’s wedding was absolutely amazing to say the least! We had a crowd of about 280 and were worried it was going to be cramped but that turned out not to be the case. We had so much room. The room transformation was spectacular. We were able to go in the day before to decorate and come back the day after the wedding, too.

Laura was wonderful to work with. She’d promptly reply to my every question and was so very nice to work with. She works long hours to make sure things run smoothly. The entire staff - manager, chef, bartenders, and set up were phenomenal! We were planning to have an outdoor ceremony but had a back up plan to use the patio, which we ended up using and it worked perfectly! The appetizers and dinner were wonderful! We had so many compliments on the quality and quantity of the food. It was obvious Chef takes his meal planning and presentation to heart. It’s not just a job to him. They were willing to stay over to accommodate us - from meetings to tastings - to get the details right. You don’t get just a cookie table - you get a cookie room!

We are members at WCC so when the wedding planning started it was an obvious choice for us. We knew the staff and manager and in the beginning dealt with Tony who was the event planner. However, early on Tony had a stroke and they hired Laura. Everyone sang the praises of Tony but I am here to sing the praises of Laura. She stepped into some pretty big shoes and filled them perfectly! She is organized, hardworking and paid attention to all the little details of the wedding. She worked so hard to ensure my son and fiancée had the perfect day. We did not hold the ceremony there but were able to arrive at 7 am and use the locker rooms as dressing area. We ordered breakfast and had that served by 8 am into the locker room. Its a very spacious area with couches and chairs and well lit area for hair and makeup to get done. It was nice to have a venue to get ready and be able to leave our items for when we returned. Our reception started at 3:30 with cocktail hour and the room and bar area along with outside patio is very spacious also. We had 160 guests and there was no problem with fitting all in that space. The food at Westmoreland is incredible so I knew we couldn’t go wrong with anything we selected but in the end chose filet, walleye, and chicken marsala for our guests and I heard all night long from people how great their dinner was. The cookie room (yes it’s a ROOM) is set off the dining room and looked just beautiful all set up with our 200 dozen cookies!! We did pay for the extra hour and stayed til 11:00 and I have to say the staff remained upbeat and pleasant all the way til the end and it was a long day. I cannot say enough great things about Westmoreland Country Club and I am recommending them to everyone in need of a wedding venue or just any event. They do a fantastic job!

First of all, the entire staff was 100% accessible at all times, from the servers, to the chef, to the prep personnel, and most importantly, Laura. But I will save her for last. The space is beautiful, and the packages offered have so many options that it was so easy to personalize the experience. After our first meeting with Laura, we knew we were in good hands. Her approach and desire to give us a reception of our dreams, was evident. During the remainder of planning, she was accessible, helpful, and professional. The day before the wedding, she was able to let us decorate to our heart’s content. All, and I mean all, of our requests that day, were met with an “of course”! She made us feel so confident that the next day would be perfection, and it was. From the moment we got there Saturday night, Laura was there to greet us and show us the space before anyone entered the room. Oh my goodness, it was breathtaking! The bride cried when she saw it! And of course for this 100% Italian Mother, the cookie room was the ultimate dream! Laura was present for the ENTIRE night. She continually made sure that everything was okay and continually asked if we needed anything at all throughout the evening. The food was AMAZING!!! I knew the tastings went well, but to prepare for big crowds, sometimes the flavor is a little less appealing. Well, that was not the case with our menu. We were told by many guests that the appetizers were the best they have ever tasted and the food was hot and delicious! So, so good!! I thought it was the best food I ever had at a wedding. The chef is so talented, and so friendly and accessible as well! After the reception, the staff gathered all our decor, (there was a lot), put it all in the cookie room, along with all the remaining cookies packed up very neatly, so we could come and gather it up the next day!
Now to Laura!! She made us feel like we were her only client, truly, I mean that with all my heart. Every question or concern was answered very quickly. She is professional yet so caring, which is a fine line to maneuver, which she does with perfection. When I saw her Saturday evening, the wedding evening, I breathed a sigh of relief and knew the reception would be a night to remember, and it was that and so much more! So many guests told us that we couldn’t have done anything better. My uncle, who is usually a negative person who complains all the time, told me that the wedding was “perfect” and “ the best wedding I have ever been to!” This high praise, believe me! We, as the groom’s parents, are still walking on air! Laura is a treasure and we felt so very blessed and so fortunate to have her as our event planner. She doesn’t miss one detail. I truly don’t know how she does it, but we are so glad she was there with us that night, to celebrate one of the greatest nights for our family. For the last year and a half, I prayed that the wedding and reception would be everything the bride and groom could wish for, and God answered my prayers by putting Laura in our lives! Scott and I were married at the Westmoreland Country Club on 5/26/19. It was truly the best choice we made in planning our wedding. Tony, the event coordinator, was absolutely amazing. He worked with us on everything to make our day special and exactly how we wanted it. The locker rooms have plenty of space to get ready. They easily accommodated me and my 11 bridesmaids. The golf course is beautiful and has some great spots for photos. Originally our ceremony was going to be outside, but it rained all weekend! The staff at the country club did a wonderful job setting up the ceremony site inside! Everything was beautifully set for dinner and the food was amazing. The menu of options is extensive and offers something for everyone. We opted for food stations and it was absolutely wonderful. Tony was very attentive and made sure everything went perfect on our big day!! Definitely recommend!

Westmoreland Country Club was the perfect location for our elegant themed wedding. You do not have to be a member to have your wedding there and Tony was a dream to work with! He made many decorative suggestions that ended up being the perfect decision! People are still telling us how amazing our food was! The food is downright delicious. My only complaint was that we got married near the end of October and the Club was "winterizing." They had cut away most of the foliage/shrubs and weren't decorated outside. We managed by buying lots of mums and other decorations. Tony was easy to work with during the wedding day and my husband and I had little to worry about besides having a good time!

The Westmoreland Country Club, Tony and his Staff deserve 10 stars. From the planning process all the way up to the day of our wedding and beyond, we were given the best service. The food was absolutely delicious and we were incredibly impressed with our ability to personalize so much of our day! They were totally open to our semi-non-traditional ideas and made it so special for us!

I checked out 7 different venues prior to choosing this club. I am so glad I did. You don’t have to be a member to have your reception here, their staff is down to earth and on the ball, and they don’t nickel and dime you. They took care plating dozens upon dozens of cookies, setting up the large candy display with their own glassware, set up the gift table and seating cards exactly how I asked, and handled the rest of my vendors. The bridal party did not go without drinks or food the entire night. They truly are wonderful people that want to help make your day the best it can be.

Having our wedding at Westmoreland Country Club was the best decision we could have made. The location was gorgeous- lots of windows and really felt like a swanky place for the same price as a dark, cold banquet hall.
The food was amazing! The cake - delicious and beautiful... better than the picture i provided. And the best tasting cake I have ever had (and I'm not just saying that because it was my cake)
Martin was a dream to work with... it was like having a wedding planner without paying for one. He made our day perfect. I was never worried about anything that he was involved with. He created the schedule for the day, he coordinated with our vendors, he took so much off of me.
I would highly recommend Westmoreland Country Club. They made my wedding day all I envisioned it to be.

This venue was amazing when we first booked. The manager Tony, who acted as our wedding coordinator for the club, was lovely, kind, and very wonderful to work with. Due to health concerns, the management sadly changed two months before our wedding after we had already worked out all of the reception details with the previous club manager. That's when everything went beyond horribly wrong.

The new club manager, Laura, did not call or email us to inform us that she was our new wedding coordinator. I only found out because I called the club to get in touch with the previous manager, and she picked up the phone greeting me with my first name. She told me she had my phone number and email, and yet she did not call to tell us she would be taking over. She then went on to tell me she didn't know any of the details we had already worked out with the previous club manager, and that we would have to come back into the club to work things out with her. This was A MONTH before my wedding. Then she fought us on most of the details, trying to change huge aspects of our wedding all the way up to TWO DAYS before the wedding. This woman had my stomach in ridiculous knots and robbed me of so much sleep, especially the week of my wedding.

She was incredibly condescending about the changes as well, telling me that "The previous manager seemed to promise couples the world for their weddings," essentially victim shaming us for the changes. She also was beyond mean-spirited and insensitive about the previous manager, who was truly so kind. She outright insulted him behind his back to my husband's, mom's, dad's, and my face by saying in a very mean-spirited way that it was his fault his health went downhill because of his lifestyle choices. This woman is truly unbelievable in her shamelessness and meannness. What a horrible thing to do to someone who is suffering in their health.

She and her staff then almost single handedly ruined our reception. During our receiving line, she pulled my husband aside and yelled at him (yes, YELLED at him) telling him to STOP the receiving line immediately, as our wedding party was being too loud in the holding area near the club restaurant and disturbing the club patrons (when we got over to them, the restaurant patrons were laughing with our wedding party, having a good time, and when we apologized to them, they said "It's a wedding, we're all having fun!"). She was nowhere to be found after our salads were served, so her staff served dinner 45 minutes after we had finished our salads. Yes, dinner was FORTY-FIVE MINUTES LATE because of her. Not only is that terrible in and of itself, but it threw off the timeline for the night. Then our dinners were cold and many guests received the wrong meal choice.

Then our DJ, who has been in the business for 15-20 years, let us know that she actually was incredibly mean to him and yelled at him as well, and that he planned on leaving her a terrible review along with us.

She is absolutely awful to work with. While the venue itself is beautiful, I absolutely, highly DO NOT recommend having your wedding there.
