Historic Wedding Venues in Pittsburgh

AMAZING!!! From the very first visit, we knew Soldiers & Sailors was the perfect venue for us. Amber and her incredible team were truly the cherry on top of this gorgeous space. Communication was seamless, planning felt effortless, and every single person we met at Soldiers & Sailors was an absolute joy to work with. Amber (and her team) have such a gift for what they do — she truly thinks of every detail and goes above and beyond to make your day perfect. One thing that really stood out to us, and something you won’t find at every venue, is the remarkable attention to detail and all the behind-the-scenes magic that happens without you even realizing it. We truly can’t say enough wonderful things! Thank you, thank you to the entire Soldiers & Sailors team — our day was an absolute dream, and that’s in huge part thanks to you!

Megan and Melissa are absolute rock stars!! We switched venues about 45 days before our wedding and they worked so hard for us! I like to say they helped us plan 3.5 weddings because of the constant changes made with COVID restrictions. They were kind, caring, hard-working, detail- oriented and efficient. They knew what to do, when to do it and how to do it! We could not be more thankful to the two of them for helping our day go off without a hitch!! We had the most perfect day and it was all thanks to them!!

We had the pleasure of having our wedding at Pittsburgh's Grand Hall at The Priory in March 2023. Since many of our guests traveled from out-of-town for the wedding, we also utilized all of the rooms at the adjacent Priory Hotel for the weekend. We are beyond thrilled with how everything turned out and would highly recommend hosting a wedding or any other special event at this venue. As a special event venue, the Grand Hall at the Priory is truly one-of-a-kind – with history, charm, and beautiful details unseen in other venues like stained glass windows and an overlook choir loft. When you combine that with the modern touches – spectacular food, valet parking, full-service packages reasonably priced, hotel on-site – it’s hard to find another venue in Pittsburgh that can compete in our opinion. In addition, we were especially dazzled by the outstanding service we received throughout the planning process, at the Grand Hall on the day of our wedding, and the Priory Hotel itself. Courtney (Director of Events & Catering Sales), Jennifer (Event Manager), and Luciano (Guest Services Manager) are absolute pros and everyone that we came into contact with was extremely helpful, friendly, and accommodating (Nicole and Logan at the hotel front desk, Janet at our wedding, everyone really). If you are looking for a great wedding experience that will “wow” your guests (ours are still talking about how great everything was and how unique the Priory is), we would encourage you to consider this venue.

The Edgeworth Club did an amazing job! The place is gorgeous. They are so professional and walked me through step by step. The price is extremely reasonable.

We had our wedding ceremony under the grand pavilion. It was such an incredibly beautiful day! Ellen was a superstar and went above and beyond. Our coordinator was MIA the day of the rehearsal and Ellen stepped in to take charge and direct everyone. She saved us and made sure every little detail was executed the way we wanted it to be. Our keyboard player was plugged into the sound system and it sounded great! We also used the microphone they provided when reading our own vows and everyone could hear us loud and clear. I highly recommend having your ceremony here and working with Ellen. It went perfectly.

The Gardens of Old Economy are so beautiful! Perfect for an outdoor wedding! It made my daughter's wedding absolutely perfect and everything she hoped it would be!

A wonderful venue for a wedding. Historic Inn. Wonderful owners. Went above and beyond to make the day beautiful. Highly recommend

Josh was great! He always was helpful and available. The hall had everything we needed (minus a kitchen) plus WIFI!! We were very happy to be able to get into the hall all weekend (Friday to Sunday). The rental included chairs, tables, and smaller tables that were great for drinks, cupcakes, and a card/guestbook table. The stage was great and being able to work with different local vendors was the best idea :) Thanks Josh!!

We were always planning on having a small, intimate wedding, therefore, we knew we didn't want to go "all out" on hiring a venue location. We were also doing all of this at a distance because we were not local to Pittsburgh and never had the ability to tour the space. We originally connected with the venue manager about The Stables, another beautiful location, but when we looked through the brochure they sent over, we fell in love with the grand staircase at the courthouse! We also loved that the space was complimentary for weekday weddings of up to 50 guests. It was perfect. The communication with the venue managers was great the entire time and the space spoke for itself without any decorations. We highly recommend!

Choosing the Energy Innovation Center for our October 2024 wedding in Pittsburgh was one of the best decisions we could have ever made! The venue is gorgeous, with amazing city views, unique style and a magical atmosphere. What truly set it apart was the exceptional service we received though, particularly from the venue coordinator, Shannon. She was an absolute dream to work with – so helpful, responsive, and accommodating. Shannon went above and beyond to ensure every detail was perfect and that our vision for our wedding was fully realized. She was always available for walkthroughs and patiently answered all of our questions. Shannon's team was also friendly and quick to flip the ceremony space to our dance floor. We highly recommend the Energy Innovation Center, especially if you want 10/10 views and have your guests still talking about your venue to this day!
