West Overton Village is a historic site, museum, rye whiskey distillery, wedding and event venue in Scottdale, PA, about 45 miles southeast of Pittsburgh. This historic property has been home to countless wedding celebrations over the last 175 years. The team continues to welcome sweethearts and their loved ones to celebrate.

This beautiful 19th-century historic site has both indoor and outdoor event areas to choose from. Many outdoor ceremonies take place in front of 1838 Overholt Homestead, a stately Federal-style home surrounded by colorful gardens. The Big Barn can accommodate up to 275 guests for an evening of dining and dancing. As the largest standing brick barn in Pennsylvania, our Big Barn features original bricks, exposed wood beams, and large barn doors.
Our Museum, located in the original 1859 distillery and gristmill building, offers many options for your celebration. The Overholt Room is the perfect indoor venue for ceremonies, receptions, showers, and rehearsal dinners, accommodating up to 100 guests. Cocktail hours are often held on the main floor of our Museum, which features an exhibition of West Overton history. Our new Overholt Stateroom, a vintage-inspired bar and lounge, can be added onto cocktail hours and can also serve as a location for rehearsal dinners, getting ready, showers, and bachelor/bachelorette parties.
At our on-site Distillery, you can add enhanced experiences, such as renting the space and coordinating whiskey tastings.
