Energy Innovation Center is a beautiful city-side wedding venue located in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. From the gorgeous rooftop views of the city to the extravagant banquet halls, this venue could provide the perfect urban setting for your dream wedding or special event.

Facilities and Capacity

The Energy Innovation Center is home to four different venue spaces, all of which could make a unique backdrop for your wedding day. The Covestro BrightSpace, with it's high loft style ceilings, is perfect for a ceremony & reception, giving you clear and uninterrupted views of the Pittsburgh skyline. The Glass Elevator is another great reception space, complete with floor-to-ceiling windows and offering space for cocktail hours. The Roadways are long, wide spaces with colorful pipes lining the ceiling and are the perfect location for a seated dinner, food tables, games, etc. The Green Roof is ideal for wedding photography, offering a lush green lawn for all of your photo ops.

10/10 Views & Incredible Service

Choosing the Energy Innovation Center for our October 2024 wedding in Pittsburgh was one of the best decisions we could have ever made! The venue is gorgeous, with amazing city views, unique style and a magical atmosphere. What truly set it apart was the exceptional service we received though, particularly from the venue coordinator, Shannon. She was an absolute dream to work with – so helpful, responsive, and accommodating.

Shannon went above and beyond to ensure every detail was perfect and that our vision for our wedding was fully realized. She was always available for walkthroughs and patiently answered all of our questions. Shannon's team was also friendly and quick to flip the ceremony space to our dance floor. We highly recommend the Energy Innovation Center, especially if you want 10/10 views and have your guests still talking about your venue to this day!

A dream venue with incredible views

We had our wedding this past weekend at the EIC and it is truly a dream venue. Our guests raved about the space, and the beauty of the brightspace really shines in our photos and videos.

Shannon and her team bent over backwards for every request and worked so beautifully with the rest of our vendors. Their incredible kindness and willingness to help make our day perfect just help top off what is already a gorgeous venue. Getting to have our dog for photos and ceremony was such a huge plus on our day! You can't go wrong hosting any event here!

Beautiful Venue!

Our wedding day was absolutely perfect in every way. Shannon and her team at the EIC were so helpful and played a pivotal role in our dream coming to life. All of our guests commented on how beautiful and unique the space was, and we couldn’t agree more! Shannon made the process feel easy and was very responsive to all of our questions throughout the planning process. We would recommend this venue to anyone.

Amazing Venue & Wonderful Experience!

We could not have asked for a better venue!! The Energy Innovation Center is a hidden gem here in Pittsburgh and we got SO many compliments on how unique and fun it was. We were looking for a venue that was a little more interesting, and this was perfect! To top it off, Shannon was absolutely wonderful to work with. She was friendly, knowledgeable, and made sure every last detail was thought through. We felt lucky to have her and the EIC on our vendor team!

Gorgeous space

The way this space transforms is incredible. Highly recommend for any modern bride / couple looking for a space with gorgeous city views. Shannon the venue coordinator was also an incredible help!

After a few stressful postponements & less than a couple months out from our wedding, we took the leap to reschedule our wedding at Energy Innovation Center. This was the best decision we made. Shannon was INCREDIBLE to work with & helped make our last couple months of wedding planning a breeze. She was quick to respond, allowed us to stop in several times to check out space/measure things, and was always willing to lend an extra hand. I would HIGHLY recommend EIC to anyone & cannot thank Shannon enough for all her help leading up to our wedding! The place was beautiful & unique and the photos turned out spectacular!

Amazing time saving our wedding

They picked up immediately when our original had its roof collapse. We were so lucky they saved us like they did. It was an amazing event thanks to them.

Shannon is a Lifesaver

Shannon at Energy Innovation Center completely saved my sister’s wedding when her contracted venue cancelled with under one week to go. Shannon and her team were so helpful and easy to work with. They did everything within their power to alleviate stress from my sister and her whole bridal party. Shannon was incredibly flexible, putting in a lot of hours to help my sister completely re-plan her decorations, seating chart, and flow of the day. The Energy Innovation Center staff went above and beyond to make the day (and the week leading up to the wedding) perfect. The last-minute venue switch was so seamless that many guests commented that they would have never known we needed to change the location based on how fantastic everything looked and how well the event was managed. Thank you so much, Shannon, for everything you did to turn a crisis situation into one of the best weekends of our lives.
