The food speaks for itself. After we had our first tasting, we knew that Sausalido was the group we wanted to use. Nick is a very straightforward and forthcoming guy and he will offer you an honest price, excellent service, and excellent food. The staff was amazing and incredibly professional, and the setup of our apps and dinner was just beautiful. We chose the gourmet grazing option (buffet) for dinner, and asked Nick and his team to plate the salads last minute, which they were incredibly accommodating with. We loved our experience!

Worked with Sausalido for our November 13th wedding and very pleased with our experience. Our wedding planner recommended Sausalido as they have worked with Nick and team many times. We started working with Chef Nick in 2019 (We were a Covid Couple who had to reschedule our September 2020 wedding to November 2021) and from the start we were impressed by how helpful, personable and honest he was with helping us figure out our food. When we had our tasting with our wedding planner, Nick was right there talking with us about what he thought would best for our event and what would give us the most bang for our buck. He really aims to give quality food within the budget for wedding couples which we really appreciated. We even had to end up switching our buffest/sit down dinner to a cocktail style reception due to our venue size and guest count at the recommendation of our planner, and Nick also agreed, but broke it down to us that it was the best way to serve our guests. He was able to change the menu we had picked to function with a cocktail reception and everything turned out just PERFECT! We actually really ended up liking this style dinner more than a sit down. Day of, the staff worked very well with getting passed food past to our guests and keeping the food stations stocked all night Food presentation was good, SOO delicious and great quality. We received lots of compliments on the meatballs and of course his famous bowtie pasta. The food really helped make the day we waited for so long just perfect! I'd recommend Sausalido catering for any size event you are looking to hold.

My wife and I had Sausalidos cater our wedding and we couldn't have made a better choice! First and foremost, the food was absolutely amazing! It was truly one of the highlights of our big day, and our guests have continued to rave about the food! Nick and his staff were extremely professional and so easy to work with. Sausalido did an amazing job at our wedding! Even from the beginning, the team presented us with a delicious and fun food tasting. The communication throughout the whole process was great, the team always had answers and suggestions for my several questions. Everyone raved about how amazing the food was! Sausalido was great! They catered my wedding - Erika and Nick were great to work with, and the food was amazing! They were also very helpful with making some of the menu items dairy-free because I have some lactose intolerant family members.

Sausalido was one of the best parts of our wedding! First, the food was delicious (2 weeks later and my guests are still raving)! Nick was wonderful in the planning process and made it all so easy. Lastly, I have to give a HUGE shout out and thank you to Renee! Without her, my wedding would not have gotten set up, she stepped up when the venue dropped the ball and went way above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect! If you are looking for amazing food and beyond amazing service you won't be disappointed with Sausalido!

The food is AMAZING!! My fiance and I stopped in Sausalido one early evening, just looking for a place to eat. The restaurant wasn't even open yet but they let us come in and started serving us bread/white bean dip. By the end of our actual meal, we had decided to hire them as our rehearsal dinner location! The family-style food for our rehearsal dinner was out of this world!! Our family/bridal party LOVED each app/entree as much as the next! We used the private space above the restaurant, and our server hustled up and down the steps all night with nothing but kind words and a willingness to make everything perfect for our guests and us. He even quickly moved around, trying to set up fans to cool the space as it was warm that night in the restaurant. If I could visit Sausalido and enjoy its food/atmosphere everyday I would!!
