I cannot recommend the Fairmont enough! When we toured the venue, we immediately made the decision this is where we are getting married, and we are so happy we did. We were able to have everything on site. We held our welcome party at Fl. 2, ceremony, reception, and our Sunday farewell brunch at the Fairmont.
Joanna, Senior Wedding Catering Sales Manager, went above and beyond in her role, and was an instrumental part of our vendor team. She was timely in her responses for any questions we had. Her professionalism and ability to work with all of the other vendors was incredible. We cannot thank her enough for everything she did to make our wedding weekend even better than we could imagine.
The entire Fairmont team was exceptional and were there to help with anything us and our guests needed. From the moment we checked in, we felt at ease. Brian, the bellman, was so kind and helped us throughout our entire wedding weekend. He was professional, timely and precise. He made sure all of our things were in the right place, at the right time, and did it all with a smile on his face!
The wedding food was hands down the BEST I have ever had. The taste and presentation were unmatched. Also, they catered to our guests’ dietary restrictions with ease and professionalism. The waitering staff confirmed multiple times with the guests to make sure the dietary restrictions were correct. This was not your traditional banquet food and service you think of; it was dining at a 5-star restaurant.
With our wedding package, it came with a cake. The pastry chef is top notch! The cake was so beautiful, definitely a show stopper! Not only did it look amazing, but it tasted amazing as well. It is hard to get a beautiful cake, with the delicious cake, but the pastry chef at the Fairmont did just that! If you are from Pittsburgh, you know how important the Pittsburgh Cookie Table is. The Fairmont set it up to perfection and made sure it was refilled consistently. I cannot thank the entire staff of the Fairmont enough for their professionalism and assistance. Stop your search and book the Fairmont!

After having to change everything around and downsize because of COVID, we were happy to still be able to have a nice wedding using one of the Fairmont's microwedding packages. It was pricey but mostly all-inclusive and totally worth it. No way we would have been able to afford anything that nice for a huge party like originally intended. it was intimate but as a result, we could really spring for more customization, premium drinks, and extended stays. The staff were wonderful!

The Fairmont is a very classy and modern hotel. My husband and I got a suite for our wedding night and there was huge bathroom and giant comfortable bed! The staff certainly made us feel like royalty during our stay!

If you want to have a wedding that is perfect from the first minute to the last this is your place! I can't speak highly enough about how wonderful our experience has been with Fairmont and Madeline in particularly. We just had our wedding there on 07/30 and it was simply incredible!! We planned our wedding in less than 6 months and it was only possible because of how awesome Fairmont is. Madeline is such a pleasure to work with! The food and the cake are amazing!! We got so many compliments! I highly recommend Fairmont to everyone because they truly gave me the wedding of my dreams.

THE BEST PITTSBURGH WEDDING VENUE! We celebrated our wedding at the Fairmont on 6/4/16 and I don't know where to begin other than to say it was PERFECT! There is no way that there is any other venue in Pittsburgh that goes above and beyond like the Fairmont Pittsburgh. I was greeted as the Bride as I walked through the lobby, anything I needed they brought to my room in minutes, and the staff was the best to my guests the whole weekend! I can not rave enough about how special they made me and all of my guests feel! On top of it all, the ballroom can be transformed into anything a bride could dream! There are no limits when it comes to the Fairmont. My guests have not stopped raving about the food, the service, and how spectacular every aspect was! I recommend Farimont Pittsburgh to any bride hands down!!

My husband and I selected the Fairmont Pittsurgh as our reception venue, and I can't gush enough about their staff, service, and facilities. Everyone who staffed the event was attentive and approached guests to ask if they needed anything. Our guests were served almost all at the same time, meaning no one waited for dinner, and an empty dish never lingered long on a table. Throughout our planning process, the staff members were always organized, friendly, and responsive. The staff is top-notch-- we couldn't be more impressed, and neither could our families and friends. Oh, and the food was out-of-this-world!

The ballroom itself is fresh and modern, and with the in-house AV team, we were able to easily coordinate a lighting scheme for the space. We also appreciated that the hotel is dog friendly (so our Dog-of-Honor could attend!) and that the accommodations had beautiful views of the city for our out-of-town guests. My husband and I also loved the location-- since the hotel is situated in the middle of downtown, we were able to sneak outside for city pictures with our photographer without missing much of the action on the dance floor. When we returned to our suite after the reception, embroidered robes, chocolates, and champagne awaited us-- what a special touch!

For any bride looking for a modern aesthetic, exceptional service, and the glamour of a downtown wedding, I highly recommend the Fairmont. They made me a very happy Mrs.

More than perfect!

Having our reception at the Fairmont was a great decision. The service was outstanding all evening, and as we progressed through the wedding planning leading up to the big day. During all discussions we felt as if we were the top priority, and all promises relating to the evening were kept.

A reception at Fairmont Pittsburgh is truly a way to show off a unique side of Pittsburgh. Throughout the event, and in the days following, our guests raved at the service provided with the cocktail hour and dinner.

Our only recommendation would be to try and have the Fairmont consolidate the information held regarding the logistics/plans for the evening. That is something we had to communicate three different times to three-plus different people. It was great that everyone was being thorough, but efficient information sharing internally was their only short-coming, if we had to pick one.

Darren and Meaghan were great, and very knowledgeable. They both, along with their staff, made our families feel especially welcome. Highly recommended - the entire building and it's name hold a special place in our hearts now.

I am very happy with our wedding at the Fairmont. On that day, the coordinator made me feel very very special, right there helping me fix my dress, getting me a drink, you name it! They did everything that we asked, and we are very pleased. It was a little difficult to work with them along the process because they were short one person on the job and it wasn't easy getting an email back from them at times. It was also frustrated that on the day of the wedding the coordinator was in meetings with potential brides when we were trying to get things done ...However, it all did come together perfectly and I would definitely recommend the Fairmont as a venue. They give you a beautiful bridal suite, and the Fairmont also offers you a percentage back on what you spend, to go towards your honeymoon at any Fairmont location in the world. Great perks! The venue made for some beautiful pictures too!
