Our hotel offers a warm, inviting atmosphere with over 15,000 square feet of versatile event space. The stunning WellSpan Ballroom, adorned with sparkling chandeliers and elegant decor, can host up to 280 guests without dancing, or up to 240 with a dance floor, for a night of joy and celebration. For more intimate gatherings, we have smaller, equally enchanting spaces. Imagine your cocktail hour on our rooftop bar, enjoying breathtaking city views. With 123 comfortable rooms, including luxurious suites for the newlyweds, your guests will have a memorable and restful stay. Fabulous Wedding Venue
The location was ideal, with the hotel situated right in town so guests could easily stroll out for breakfast or lunch. The rooftop terrace bar was the perfect setting to kick off the weekend on Friday night with a warm summer breeze and gorgeous views. The ballroom itself was stunning — large windows, plenty of space for dancing, and easily accommodated our 154 guests.
A huge thank you to our day-of planner, Angie Basilotto. From the very start of planning (over seven months) to the big day itself, Angie was professional, knowledgeable, always available, and absolutely committed to making every detail perfect. She was a true pleasure to work with. The entire staff — from front desk to servers, bartenders, and housekeeping — were friendly, attentive, and made our family, bridal party, and guests feel so well cared for.
Choosing The Yorktowne allowed us to simplify the process of planning a wedding away from our home city of Baltimore. It offered our guests an easy-to-reach destination where they could stay in one place for the entire weekend. An added bonus: free parking in the garage all weekend long.
We truly couldn’t recommend The Yorktowne Hotel more highly for a wedding or special event. If you’re considering it — go for it!

This beautiful hotel in downtown York, PA has great places for receptions, parties or get togethers. I love the historicity of the Yorktowne and its location on main street is wonderful. The proximity to Harrisburg, Carlisle, and Hershey is convenient too.
The Yorketowne Hotel is elegant, unique and a unforgettable venue for your wedding, or any special event. I have played harp at numerous weddings there and the staff is so helpful and attentive.
