I appreciated the communication for arranging accommodations for our wedding guests. Angie was very efficient and presented a plan that was the best for our families to give wedding guests.

We highly, highly recommend this venue, especially for a small wedding or elopement! Our elopement dinner (30 people) on a Friday was beautiful and, for the overall price, you can't beat it. Plus, you can return for anniversaries! ​The experience was seamless; it was very easy to coordinate everything, and all the staff are very helpful—Jeff is great! ​The food was Excellent (we did a buffet and hors d'oeuvres). The quality was fantastic; it's even fantastic reheated! There were even leftovers we ate during our staycation honeymoon, which saved us a ton of money. The bedrooms were also nice, and the bed was very comfortable. ​The only downside is that you need to set up and tear down yourself. However, I had tons of help and was able to start setting up the night before, so it worked out great. Also note that there aren't dedicated bridal and groom rooms, but we just reserved a room the night before, and it worked out great. ​A couple of final tips for future guests: be aware the women's bathroom is a bit small if you have a wedding dress on. And definitely discuss parking in advance; maybe add extra directions and ask Jeff for the map of where parking is available.

My husband and I had the most wonderful wedding, and it's all thanks to the staff at Toftrees. We were planning my hometown wedding all the way from Minnesota, and it all came together perfectly thanks to Katie Clegg and her team! We were SO impressed by the venue, the staff and their friendliness, THE FOOD, everything! The food was truly delicious — I don't mean to brag about my own wedding, but our food was the best I've ever had. Our guests are still raving about our wedding weeks later. They keep telling us how wonderful the staff is, how delicious the food and drinks were and how beautiful the grounds were! Literally all of the banquet staff at Toftrees are just so kind, accommodating and great to work with. I had so many questions and each time I called Katie, she answered promptly and was so friendly and thorough. I know so many people aren't as lucky, so thanks for being wonderful, Katie. My husband and I also had our Rehearsal Dinner and Sunday Brunch at Toftrees in the Silver Maple Ballroom, and both of those were incredible as well! It was such a treat for both my husband and I and our guests. We couldn’t have been in a better place. Thank you so much Toftrees, especially Katie and Jan, for making our wedding weekend one to remember forever. We appreciate all of you so much and we will be celebrating our special weekend for years to come!

When my daughter became engaged I knew we wanted to plan an elegant and easy wedding. When I studied wedding venues I always came back to the Best Western Premier due to the beautiful setting, the tiered levels of services which meant I could control my budget, and access to overnight accommodations for our out-of-town guests. As I looked over and compared costs between various local venues, the Best Western Premier offered us the best option for an affordable and elegant wedding. For us, service was important since we felt we couldn't do everything ourselves. I didn't want to miss out on my daughter's and son-in-law's special day. Because it is a full service hotel that is used to big events we knew they would handle the reception without a hitch. When we met with Jessica Dickey we knew she would be an excellent wedding coordinator from the start. She is knowledgeable, energetic, and has loads of people skills. The day of the event I found that Jessica had decorated the room beautifully. I had put a lot of thought into how we wanted it to look, but our time line meant I couldn't be there in person while the reception venue was being set-up. No worries, Jessica did such a marvelous job I almost cried tears of joy when I saw it. We were so glad that the Best Western had a gorgeous space for our cocktail hour too. It made our guests feel relaxed and gave them a chance to catch up as many hadn't seen each other for quite a while due to the pandemic. Jessica worked with our chosen venues to ensure the day ran smoothly. The Best Western also recommended to us our cake baker and florist which helped us greatly. The food was delicious and the wine, beer and open bar was a hit with our guests. The service was excellent. They handled everything well. I would highly recommend the Best Western Premier. Our daughter's wedding reception was everything we hoped it would be thanks to the professionalism and quality service of their entire staff.

Everything about the DoubleTree Resort was perfect. The whole staff was very friendly, supportive, great experience and very flexible. Until a couple of hours before the event we needed to make some changes and they were able to accommodate. The food was AMAZING and very fresh and delicious. We highly recommend this place.

The team at Leola is excellent and easy to work with - they followed through on every detail we had discussed. They made my daughter's wedding as easy as could be and it was all she dreamed of!

We had our wedding at Lake Raystown Resort Conference Center on 10/4/24. We were hooked right after our first tour with how stunning this venue is - Huge ballroom, beautiful lake views, and cozy on-property lodging. But what really made this venue perfect for us was the staff. Dan and Jenn were absolutely amazing to work with. They made sure all the details were lined up, answered any and all questions we had, and ensure our day went smoothly. On the day of, Dan was incredible with checking in to see if we needed anything. Wedding planning is a lot more stressful that some people imagine, but working with them made everything so much better. We highly recommend checking out the venue and using it for your big day. It was absolutely STUNNING (especially during the fall) and such a perfect day.

I cannot express how wonderful our wedding was at Gettysburg Hotel. We were hesitant to have a December date, but everything was so magical and surpassed all expectations. The ballroom is so beautiful, the food was fantastic, and the staff were so helpful in creating a great experience. Alaina is very helpful during the planning process, quick to respond to my many questions throughout it all. I do not have my professional photos back yet but cannot wait to see them with the gorgeous venue!!

Everything I pictured my wedding to be is exactly how it was. Maryann Fischer was an absolute asset to everything and we are incredibly thankful for her and her hard work. She was always so responsive when I had a million and one questions/requests while being friendly, patient, and helpful. The staff was very accommodating and friendly. The ballroom was decorated beautifully and the complimentary wedding suite was amazing. The courtyard was beautiful as well. I cannot have asked for a more perfect wedding and the Wyndham Gardens and Maryann were to thank for that. I highly recommend.

This is beyond a doubt the best large event space in Ephrata! Recently renovated it feels so exclusive and the views are beyond compare.
