Lake Raystown Resort, Lodge & Conference Center

We had our wedding at Lake Raystown Resort Conference Center on 10/4/24. We were hooked right after our first tour with how stunning this venue is - Huge ballroom, beautiful lake views, and cozy on-property lodging. But what really made this venue perfect for us was the staff. Dan and Jenn were absolutely amazing to work with. They made sure all the details were lined up, answered any and all questions we had, and ensure our day went smoothly. On the day of, Dan was incredible with checking in to see if we needed anything. Wedding planning is a lot more stressful that some people imagine, but working with them made everything so much better. We highly recommend checking out the venue and using it for your big day. It was absolutely STUNNING (especially during the fall) and such a perfect day.

Jenn, Dan, and the whole staff from Lake Raystown Resort went above and beyond throughout the entire wedding planning process, leading up to a perfect weekend that was run so smoothly for both the bridal party and guest experience! We were unsure about what the planning process would look like being from out-of-state and having a larger family & bridal party to account for.

Their professionalism, attention to detail, and willingness to answer a million questions over the past year was nothing short of heroic! From setup to teardown, I had so many people come up to me afterward and share their gratitude for their abilities to work alongside them and somehow be everywhere we needed at once and still think of all the little details like timing each couple as they walked down the aisle and making sure the bride and groom got to eat throughout the whole night.

Some of our absolute favorite moments from the weekend came from the unexpected things they helped us problem-solve, such as holding down the aisle with the cornhole bags due to the wind and even letting us put a veil on the moose in the Full Moon Lounge! Their responsiveness and flexibility ahead of time via email and calls allowed us to come in feeling totally prepared and knowing that we could place all of the decorations and florals in custom locations where they would be enjoyed by everyone.

Every one of our vendors was so appreciative of how easy it was to have what they needed to pull off such a magical day. When I would mention we were going to be at Lake Raystown Resort, every single one was excited to work with them because of the beautiful location and ease of communication.

We chose a buffet package with seriously delicious and unique food (grilled cheese with tomato soup shooters as a late-night snack!) and were still able to accommodate our guests with dietary restrictions. Having the BYOB alcohol policy was cost-effective and allowed us to customize our bar to knowing what guests would like. We were even able to set up outside yard games alongside the smores station which was a huge hit with guests of all ages who needed a break from dancing!

The Villas and Lodge rooms were the perfect places to stay to get ready and make memories by the campfire, the beauty of this place cannot be understated as we held our ceremony on the back terrace and have beautiful pictures with friends and family overlooking the lake just as spring was beginning to remember it all! Dan and Jenn are simply the best at what they do - give them a call to learn more and you will be so grateful you did!

We held our wedding at Lake Raystown Resort, and it was a wonderful experience from start to finish. Dan and Jenn were both incredibly helpful, informative, and patient both before we booked the wedding, during preparations for the event, and, of course, during the rehearsal dinner, wedding, and brunch the day after. The food was delicious, and many of our guests commented on what a great time they had and what a great venue it was.

The day of our wedding, Dan and Jenn were very attentive - delivering food to us from the cocktail hour while we prepared for photos, having our choice of drinks delivered to the sweetheart table before dinner, making sure we were able to choose our snacks from the dessert table before it was announced to everyone, and so much more.

All of the staff were incredibly kind, and you could tell that they enjoy working together. Dan and Jenn were there early in the morning and late into the night helping with set up, clean up, tending bar - wherever they were needed. They were very communicative, and kept us up to date with any changes/requirements. They were also very flexible, allowing us to alter how things were commonly done so that we could make the ceremony and reception unique to us.

We would definitely recommend this venue for anyone looking for a great place to get married.

We had our ceremony at wedding pointe and our reception on the Queen Mary. It was wonderful and Kristen was great to work with in the days leading up to the wedding. The food on the Queen Mary was amazing - we got so many compliments!

Our wedding was here on 9/29 this year and it was everything and more!! I couldn’t have been happier with everything! Dan and Jenn are wonderful and super helpful! The food is absolutely amazing and I loved the option of the afterglow it was a hit. Everyone is still saying how great our wedding was

Lake Raystown Resort & Lodge was absolutely wonderful throughout the whole process. Dan and Jenn worked hard to make sure everything was set up how we wanted, and they answered countless emails and phone calls from us. The day-of, they both made sure everything ran smoothly, and walked us through every step. The location was beautiful - we had our ceremony at the "wedding pointe" overlooking the lake and trees, and the reception was in the beautiful ballroom with glass windows overlooking the "treetops terrace." After the reception, all of our guests and family stayed in the villas by the lake, which was a fun way to have a little after-party. I highly recommend getting the villas. During the reception there was a lot going on: we had dancing in the ballroom, the bar was in the lobby, s'mores on the terrace, and the lounge upstairs, where most of the older adults went to talk away from the music. It was nice to have so many options.
The food was also amazing. We didn't get to sample it ahead of time (they only have tastings twice a year), but we trusted them and it turned out to be delicious. Overall, we are very happy with how everything turned out.

What a fabulous venue for our wedding! We couldn't have asked for a better space to share our special day with friends and family. Beautiful scenery and excellent food. Our guests were raving about the dinner, smores, and afterglow menu provided by the venue. Would highly recommend this venue to anyone. So much to do for guests who would like to make a long weekend out of their stay. Fantastic!!

From pre-booking to wedding day, Dan and Jenn were so helpful and answered any questions I had. Could not have asked for better service. The room was set up perfectly on our wedding day. They went above and beyond creating a gorgeous centerpiece for our tables. Everyone raved about the food and no one went home hungry. Beautiful scenery and convenient lodging of different types. Hotel quality lodge, villas, cabins, or campgrounds. Something for everyone.
