Everything about our wedding at John Wright was perfect from start to finish! From the initial tour of the River Room, we knew that was where we wanted out big day to take place. Molly Cook (Assistant Director & Event Sales) was there to help us every step of the way. She really used her expertise and experience to help us achieve the perfect wedding day. She helped us with all the details and things we didn't even know we needed to consider, which was so helpful when coming up with our floor layout, day-of timeline, etc. The Bridal Suite is very spacious and was a great place to get ready. The Bridal Suite package also provided delicious wraps, coffee, iced tea, etc. which was so nice as we decorated the had our hair/makeup done. Bernadette (Bern), John Wright's day-of coordinator kept our day running smoothly in all aspects! She was able to help us problem solve with last minute setup aspects to make sure everything was perfect! Our outside ceremony was on a sunny 90+ degree day, and Bern brought us and the bridal party a refreshing pitcher of ice water and cups after the ceremony, before we took more photos. That extra step of care was something that really stood out, and was so appreciated! We absolutely loved our food tasting date night a few months beforehand, and the food the day-of was spot on! All of the staff us and our guests encountered the day-of, and beforehand were kind, professional, and friendly! Almost two weeks after our wedding, our guests continue to rave about the delicious food, the beautiful venue, and the overall experience!

Because of COVID, the Greenfield was our back up. My biggest regret is not choosing them first! With just six weeks to plan our 150 person wedding, the Greenfield acted quickly, professionally, and above all else put us and the quality of the food first. Hafriz and Chef John came to our venue walk through, asked excellent questions, and helped make our wedding even better than I thought it was going to be. They were flexible with our wishes and made our dreams come true. During the reception, the wait staff were bespoke in their service to my husband and I and all of our guests. 10 months later, our guests still comment about how good the food was and many have gone to Greenfield to try more of it! I would book them again in a heartbeat!

Harvey’s Main St BBQ catered our wedding at Melhorn Manor, and we could not be happier to have chosen them for our special day! We loved working with Mollie, who made the whole process incredibly easy – she was so professional and helped us think through every aspect of the food and desserts for our big day. She was also fantastic about making arrangements for our relatives with severe allergies and dietary restrictions. She even went out of her way to make sure that my husband and I got to eat (which can be tough during a jam-packed wedding day!), bringing us a sampling of appetizers from our cocktail hour as we took photos and making us a plate from our buffet dinner to ensure we could get some time to eat before greeting guests. And I can’t stress enough how AMAZING the food was! Our guests genuinely raved about how delicious everything was, and we couldn’t agree more. I had multiple guests insist that the Harvey’s mac & cheese was the best they’d ever had (our wedding party polished off all the leftovers the next day), and one relative even asked for bottles of their barbecue sauce as a Christmas gift. We definitely recommend Harvey’s for wedding catering or for any event! You won’t be disappointed!

Kristen Hinderer was an amazing event coordinator! She provided us with great knowledge and professionalism! She treated us and our event as if it were her own as she took great pride in her job and making sure our event went the way we had planned. Overall the venue was perfect! It was clean & the perfect space for our event! The food was superb and the wait staff was courteous & professional, but they were down to earth and lightened the mood making for a perfect evening!

We had our cocktail hour and wedding reception at Green Gables on October 29th, 2022. The venue is absolutely stunning so no need to travel anywhere else for great newlywed photos. The Swedish meatballs at cocktail hour were an absolute hit! The dinner area is gorgeous and all our guests absolutely loved the venue. Theresa was so helpful in making sure we were ready to go and all the details and timeline of the reception flowed without missing a beat. They also set up the reception hall to our exact wishes ( and even more) . They were very professional and helped make our wedding absolutely amazing! If you are looking for a wedding venue in western PA check out Green Gables it was so beautiful!

Tied House in Lititz has amazing food, unique and delicious bar offerings, and stellar service, so it was no surprise to us that hosting our daughter’s wedding reception in their Annex would be flawless. The newly renovated space was the perfect size with so many options for layout including a dance floor! Hannah made the whole process effortless. She listened carefully to our ideas and helped us to make our event exactly as we envisioned it. Our guests are still raving about the food! Having everything made in-house means quality was top-notch, the food was fresh and hot and always replenished. The bar choices were plentiful and included the oh, so delicious St. Boniface beers. Service at the event was unmatched as every need was attended to in a timely way. We cannot say enough about how positive our experience was with Hannah and the entire Tied House staff!

All the guests loved the food!

They were so accommodating on such little notice (short engagement). They had great food and the presentation was excellent. Everyone loved the food!

Kevin and his team at Hebron are absolutely wonderful! We met with Kevin a couple of times in person and also talked over the phone to confirm all of the details. He is very easy going, friendly, and easy to work with. He wanted to make sure that we were taken care of on our wedding day, and we certainly were! Hebron Hall is a beautiful venue; we had decorations on the tables, but the hall itself needed no additional decorations. The staff took excellent care of us and our guests, and the food was excellent :)
