If you are looking for a beautiful setting, incredible staff, easy planning, and the best food, Valley Green Inn is THE place! Our motto during planning was "no stress" and Amber completely delivered. The food is amazing at VGI and selecting a venue where I didn't have to worry about coordinate a caterer was amazing. Planning could not have been easier- Amber was so kind and helpful, guiding us every step of the way. Amber had every recommendation for the few vendors we needed, all were wonderful. Even the deco we provided was set up by VGI staff, seriously a godsend when you're trying to just enjoy the day and your family/friends! We ended up moving our ceremony under tenting due to rain and Amber/staff were so accommodating which allowed us to relax and roll with everything. If we could do everything again, I wouldn't change a single thing!!

Starbolt was wonderful for our wedding. They were able to accommodate specific requests for food and the space. All staff were welcoming and had a great demeanor. I would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a unique space in Philadelphia!

Stella of New Hope is without a doubt an amazing place to host a wedding.  We felt taken care of from start to finish.  Zack was our planner at Stella and him and his team were amazing.  They answered any questions we had in a timely manner and were patient with us through the hectic planning process.  Zack had questionnaires that helped lead us through all of the planning and gave us helpful suggestions throughout when we were unsure.  Most of our vendors had also been at Stella multiple times which also helped since they had an idea of what the setup would look like and who to talk to if they needed to.  We got so many comments on the beautiful venue and the amazing food, people are still talking about it a week after.  We would 100% recommend Stella of New Hope for your wedding.

Choosing Osteria as our wedding venue was, hands down, the best decision we made in our entire planning process. The moment you step into the restaurant, you can’t help but feel immediately welcomed and right at home. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, and the entire staff, along with the event team, are genuinely some of the kindest and most accommodating people you’ll ever meet. Their attention to service, incredible food, and commitment to meeting every one of our needs went well beyond our expectations. We had the joy of renting out the entire restaurant for our 65–80 person celebration, and the layout was absolutely perfect. Our intimate ceremony and dinner took place in the breathtaking greenhouse—a space so stunning that it first drew us to Osteria and ultimately helped us decide to get married there. The main dining area became our dance floor, with the bar perfectly positioned nearby, inviting all our guests into the heart of the party and ensuring that the dance floor stayed full all night long. We also loved the private Baker’s Room, which provided a cozy, one-of-a-kind spot for our dessert station. The décor throughout the restaurant and greenhouse is already so beautiful, we found that just a few floral touches were all that was needed to bring the space to life for our day. And the food—simply wow! Osteria’s family-style menu was an absolute hit with every guest. From appetizers and pastas to the main course (all after an incredible cocktail hour with pizza and passed bites), each course was unforgettable. Our guests could not stop raving about their meals, telling us it was hands-down the best food and overall dining experience they’d ever had at a wedding. Fiona and Suzanne, who run the event team, are nothing short of amazing. Their organization, energy, and attentive care truly made the planning process enjoyable. Despite Osteria hosting over a hundred weddings a year, they made us feel like our event was the only one that mattered—always available, always supportive, and always focused on making everything seamless from start to finish. We are endlessly grateful to the entire team at Osteria for giving us the most beautiful, flawless wedding we could have hoped for. If you’re considering this venue, know that everything about it is exceptional and you will be in very good hands.

Our wedding at Philadelphia Distilling far exceeded our expectations. Nicole the event coordinator was in touch with us throughout the whole process, able to answer any questions we had and walk us through the day. She did an incredible job as our day of coordinator and everything ran so smoothly and without a hitch. The venue itself was exceptional. The custom cocktail creation meeting was so fun and all of our guests loved our cocktails. The layout and spacing of the event worked so well with the dance floor and the outdoor space. I was worried about having more guests than seats, but the cocktail party style high tops and other tables made it easy for anyone to sit and rest but still kept people involved on the dance floor. The food was delicious and we’ve gotten a lot of compliments on the options and the quality/taste of the food. The lighting in the room during the reception and the flowers that were on the tables created a perfect atmosphere. 10/10 recommend!

If you are looking for an intimate setting, excellent care, and service to have your wedding at, The Kimberton Inn is your place. From planning, to the food and drink, everything was well thought out and curated. From start to finish, Jeff, Jay, and Maria were there helping us get ready for our special day. They think of all the little things you wouldn’t think of, and we felt we were always in good hands and taken care of. The Kimberton Inn is one of our favorite restaurants, and just like they deliver on a Friday evening date night, they delivered the same quality food and experience for a big party. It was hands down the best experience, and we couldn’t have been happier to have our wedding here. -The Flasher’s

Limoncello did a fabulous job altering our wedding at the Washington at Historic Yellow Springs in Chester Springs! They assisted with setup, break down, clean up. The bartenders were magnificent and the serving crew didn’t miss a beat! Frank made the planning very simple! He did all of our rentals required for the venue! Everyone enjoyed the food, and it was hot and delicious

The Lamplighter is a beautiful space with even better people. The family owned business treated us like we were apart of their crew and turned our wedding vision into a reality. They are extremely responsive, and they go above and beyond to make your event special. Andrew was extremely accommodating, very easy to work with, and stepped in to provide tiny special touches to our day. The venue and ceremony space were clean and well maintained. Barry the bartender is phenomenal! The Lamplighter is a wonderful place to have a wedding!

We had an amazing ceremony and reception at Olive or Twist! John was great to work with. He was professional and friendly and really helpful in making sure our special day was the way we wanted it to be. He was there on the day of our wedding to make sure everything went smoothly (and it did!). The food was great, we got “heavy hors devours” and everyone loved it. All of our guests loved the vibe of the venue, from the dim lighting, the disco ball, the cozy couches, to the long bar with plenty of seating. There was more than enough space for our 60 guests. We also did our ceremony at the venue which worked out perfectly and was nice not to have everyone travel around. As an LGBT couple, the biggest challenge we had was finding somewhere we felt comfortable. This venue was hands down the most LGBT friendly response we got when reaching out to vendors. John sent us a draft of what he thought our wedding day schedule could look like and personalized it to say “grooms” and to incorporate some preferences we shared. This is a small detail, but really made us feel more comfortable. All the other places we reached out to sent us materials that said “bride and groom” and although I’m sure they didn’t mean to, it just made us feel unwelcome (especially when we specified we were not a straight couple when reaching out). Thank you John for making us feel so comfortable and welcome! We highly recommend Olive or Twist! It really was the perfect place to have our wedding.

Everything about our wedding at John Wright was perfect from start to finish! From the initial tour of the River Room, we knew that was where we wanted out big day to take place. Molly Cook (Assistant Director & Event Sales) was there to help us every step of the way. She really used her expertise and experience to help us achieve the perfect wedding day. She helped us with all the details and things we didn't even know we needed to consider, which was so helpful when coming up with our floor layout, day-of timeline, etc. The Bridal Suite is very spacious and was a great place to get ready. The Bridal Suite package also provided delicious wraps, coffee, iced tea, etc. which was so nice as we decorated the had our hair/makeup done. Bernadette (Bern), John Wright's day-of coordinator kept our day running smoothly in all aspects! She was able to help us problem solve with last minute setup aspects to make sure everything was perfect! Our outside ceremony was on a sunny 90+ degree day, and Bern brought us and the bridal party a refreshing pitcher of ice water and cups after the ceremony, before we took more photos. That extra step of care was something that really stood out, and was so appreciated! We absolutely loved our food tasting date night a few months beforehand, and the food the day-of was spot on! All of the staff us and our guests encountered the day-of, and beforehand were kind, professional, and friendly! Almost two weeks after our wedding, our guests continue to rave about the delicious food, the beautiful venue, and the overall experience!
