My husband and I decided we wanted to do an intimate dinner celebration with closest family and friends. We hired a violinist to set the mood which also had people dancing toward the end. Choosing Osteria as our wedding venue was, hands down, the best decision we made in our entire planning process. The moment you step into the restaurant, you can’t help but feel immediately welcomed and right at home. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, and the entire staff, along with the event team, are genuinely some of the kindest and most accommodating people you’ll ever meet. Their attention to service, incredible food, and commitment to meeting every one of our needs went well beyond our expectations.

We had the joy of renting out the entire restaurant for our 65–80 person celebration, and the layout was absolutely perfect. Our intimate ceremony and dinner took place in the breathtaking greenhouse—a space so stunning that it first drew us to Osteria and ultimately helped us decide to get married there. The main dining area became our dance floor, with the bar perfectly positioned nearby, inviting all our guests into the heart of the party and ensuring that the dance floor stayed full all night long. We also loved the private Baker’s Room, which provided a cozy, one-of-a-kind spot for our dessert station.

The décor throughout the restaurant and greenhouse is already so beautiful, we found that just a few floral touches were all that was needed to bring the space to life for our day.

And the food—simply wow! Osteria’s family-style menu was an absolute hit with every guest. From appetizers and pastas to the main course (all after an incredible cocktail hour with pizza and passed bites), each course was unforgettable. Our guests could not stop raving about their meals, telling us it was hands-down the best food and overall dining experience they’d ever had at a wedding.

Fiona and Suzanne, who run the event team, are nothing short of amazing. Their organization, energy, and attentive care truly made the planning process enjoyable. Despite Osteria hosting over a hundred weddings a year, they made us feel like our event was the only one that mattered—always available, always supportive, and always focused on making everything seamless from start to finish.

We are endlessly grateful to the entire team at Osteria for giving us the most beautiful, flawless wedding we could have hoped for. If you’re considering this venue, know that everything about it is exceptional and you will be in very good hands.

Having an intimate dinner reception at Osteria was the one thing I knew I wanted for my wedding before I knew anything else! They knocked it out of the park in every category - the food was impeccable (and all of our guests are fully obsessed with it), the coordination behind the scenes was so smooth, and they were just so generous and accommodating! Something I’ll note for anyone trying to save money is that we rented out the patio and greenhouse for 54 total guests, and not only were the food and beverage prices super reasonable, but I didn’t feel like I had to add any extra decor! I got the aesthetic I wanted for a price tag of $0 extra. Some food recs because I have to: the broccolini caesar is the absolute #1, but we’re also lowkey obsessed with the Thumbelina carrots. The wood fired chicken, I have to be honest, I came in with low expectations and I was BLOWN AWAY. I wish I knew what they did to that chicken because I want it every week!!

We hosted our wedding here in the green house. Everything was incredibly smooth. The staff were very professional, the vibes were immaculate, and most of all, the food was amazing. Every one of our guests raved about the venue. Communication was very clear leading up to the event. We are so happy we went with Osteria for our big day!

We loved Osteria as our wedding venue! Communication leading up the event was prompt and detailed - always answering all the questions we had. The on-site team the day of was also fantastic - we had mistakenly changed some seating arrangements and had forgotten to notify them. They were so patient and helpful as they made the change immediately. The ceremony and reception were beautiful and we cannot recommend it enough. The food was amazing and all of our guests have raved about how amazing the food was. The venue was also incredibly accommodating for vegetarians, even bringing out a separate dessert for the guests! The vibe was just what we wanted - a beautiful dinner party that allowed us to see and interact with all of our guests. Cannot recommend Osteria enough!

We love love that we picked Osteria for our wedding because it was the perfect place. They were so professional and the whole place is so beautiful. The ambience was so romantic and the pictures look so good in that lighting with the fairy lights. All my guest kept gushing about how beautiful the whole place is and also how AMAZING the food is. The food is so so so so good, that was the main reason we picked them but the service was incredible. We almost didn’t want to let people know about this gem and save it for ourselves but we love them so much that it’s only fair to give them the praise they deserved. The place is really amazing. We had a smaller intimate wedding and it was incredible. Cannot say it enough. Shout out to Fiona and the manager that day they made this day the most amazing day. They will accommodate it to however your vision is and we wanted something more laid back and intimate for conversations etc and they really delivered. We hope to come back to relive the memories!!

Our wedding at Osteria was more than what we imagined! We were looking at various restaurant venues since we wanted more of an intimate dinner party vibe with elements of a ‘typical’ wedding - space for ceremony, seated dinner for 110-120 guests, dance floor. Osteria was one of the few places that could accommodate within our preferred budget. The restaurant itself is gorgeous and able to accommodate exactly what we wanted. Food and drink was impeccable, and service top notch. So many of our guests went out of their way to rave about it all. Thanks to Emma who really went above and beyond and made the entire planning process so seamless. She’s super responsive with great ideas!

We postponed our big destination wedding in January 2022 due to Omicron, but still wanted to wed on our originally planned date. We reached out to the team Osteria, and what a GREAT fortune that was. With just a few weeks' notice, we planned a *dream* microwedding, consisting of a dinner for 15 of our closest family and friends in their whimsical private dining room. We were able to choose from a series of dinner and drink options to fit our vision, landing on a delectable 5-course meal, family style, complete with a bar and champagne. We cannot overstate the quality of the food - truly top notch (and yes we love our food and have high standards). The service was simply impeccable - from start to finish. The team also helped us work with a local florist to include some beautiful flowers, and were very flexible with other little details to make our night very special (e.g. incorporating party favors for our guest, and a surprise virtual toast via a projector screen from those who could not attend in person). We really cannot say enough amazing things about Osteria and the team. It was so special. We are dining there for our first anniversary coming up to celebrate and are planning on making this a tradition. THANK YOU, to the whole team - simply wonderful!!!

We spent a lot of time scoping out venues in Philadelphia - everything from commonly known halls, to intimate/funky spaces. But when we walked into Osteria, we knew it was the place we were destined to tie the knot. The space is dreamy and romantic, but with tasteful modern touches. We did a restaurant buy-out, which was perfect for our smaller, intimate wedding. We wed/had dinner in the green room and used the inside bar and dining area for cocktail hour and dancing. The space was so perfect, we hardly had to do much. We just added small flower arrangements, an arbor and candles. It's no wonder the food was incredible (from appetisers to main courses) - the Chef/owner is a recipient of a James Beard award, among other honors. And truly, I cannot say enough about how lovely the staff was to work with. The wedding coordinator, servers, our bartender, and kitchen staff - everyone was just lovely. Please take the time to check out this space - it was one of the best decisions we ever made.

I can't recommend Osteria highly enough! We had our ~50 person rehearsal dinner in their greenhouse space and it was perfection. The space was gorgeous, the staff was incredibly kind and attentive, and the food -- the FOOD -- was absolutely fantastic. We hadn't been to Osteria in many years but hoped for tasty Italian food in a lovely setting. Our expectations, and those of our guests, who are a rather foodie crowd, were blown away - the food wasn't just tasty Italian, it was absolutely outstanding Italian. Every single dish was perfect. The drinks were amazing. Practically every guest still talks to us about the broccolini Caesar salad or the chicken liver pasta (just to name a few). They were also extremely accommodating when it came to figuring out the menu, for which we had several dietary restrictions. All that's to say -- we can't recommend them highly enough.
