Our Beautiful August Wedding!
I cannot put into words just how amazing our wedding day was at the Valley Green Inn. From our first phone conversation, I knew Amber Atkinson was the kind of person that I wanted to have by my side during my wedding planning journey. Amber is so passionate about what she does. She never made me feel like a bother when I asked her 1,001 questions leading up to our day and was so excited about everything I had to share. I honestly felt like I was talking with a friend while planning my wedding: completely stress-free and so much fun! Our August wedding forecast was looking like it was going to be a washout but Amber kept our hopes high and even insisted on having our rehearsal done outdoors in the pouring rain because she was that optimistic for our day! Our rehearsal dinner was held in the club room at the Inn and our guests are still raving about the food and excellent service. Our wedding day felt like something out of a movie. Everyone gathered under the trees, sitting by the creek while geese flew by. The food is absolutely delicious! And the service is just as incredible. Each guest got their meal served in a timely manner and it was hot! We danced the night away under the large tent. There is something so magical about being in the middle of nature at night surrounded by everyone you love. If you want the kind of wedding that you and your guests will never forget, get married here! I cannot thank Amber and the Valley Green Inn staff enough for the most incredible experience and wedding of my dreams!

Is calling it perfect cliche? Oh well, it was!
Honestly, where do I even begin?! When my wife and I first toured the VGI, it was finally the venue that we could actually see ourselves having such a special day at. Amber was built in a lab to be the perfect main point of contact for everything. We honestly felt like friends on the other side of it. They are very transparent with costs, and the money you spend here goes to AMAZING food (guests are still telling us it was the best wedding food they’ve had in a long time), friendly, warm service, and an outdoor location that is so hard to beat. Amber worked closely with us and was such a joy to work with. She’s got your back throughout the entire process. You can tell she loves what she does, too.
And I’ve barely even started talking about how perfect the day ended up being. Everything went off without a hitch - absolute perfection, all due to the work Amber had put in, combined with how amazing all the folks are that work at VGI. We’re so lucky to have been able to get married here.
I keep seeing on social media how folks are relieved when the wedding is over due to it all being stressful. My wife and I wish we could do it all again, and I think that speaks a lot to the venue / Amber.

The BEST philly venue
If you are looking for a beautiful setting, incredible staff, easy planning, and the best food, Valley Green Inn is THE place! Our motto during planning was "no stress" and Amber completely delivered. The food is amazing at VGI and selecting a venue where I didn't have to worry about coordinate a caterer was amazing. Planning could not have been easier- Amber was so kind and helpful, guiding us every step of the way. Amber had every recommendation for the few vendors we needed, all were wonderful. Even the deco we provided was set up by VGI staff, seriously a godsend when you're trying to just enjoy the day and your family/friends! We ended up moving our ceremony under tenting due to rain and Amber/staff were so accommodating which allowed us to relax and roll with everything. If we could do everything again, I wouldn't change a single thing!!

Beautiful Venue & Amber's Amazing!
We had a small Quaker-inspired ceremony and Amber was so excellent to work with to make our event come together just how we wanted it and within our budget. Nothing we talked about threw her off at all. The food was good, as we knew it would be, and the whole team at the venue was wonderful, and after our dinner we had everyone go outside and stand around the fire pit for s'mores. I think it was something we and our guests will remember fondly for a long time!

Amber was our wedding savior!
Amber, the event coordinator at VGI, was INCREDIBLE! We truly could not have done what we did with our wedding without her guidance. She recommended the perfect set of vendors, kept our timeline and events in check, and took away every ounce of stress we had that night. We felt so supported and cared for from start to finish. Thank you for going above and beyond to make our wedding perfect!

Valley Green Inn had everything my partner and I hoped for in our wedding venue. Amber and her team helped our wedding day run seamlessly from start to finish. Amber is truly a joy to work with and made sure we had everything we needed for our beautiful wedding day. Planning a wedding is a lot of work, but Amber was great at keeping things on track and making us feel taken care of while also directing our energy towards excitement and helping us realize our vision. The whole staff at Valley Green is the best and you can't beat the natural beauty of the Wissahickon as a backdrop. Our guests were raving about the food all night too--every dish was delicious! Everything was perfect and we are so excited we live nearby to celebrate all our special occasions at Valley Green. Thank you Amber and VGI team!

The perfect day
We knew before even touring that we wanted to get married at VGI. We love the wissahickon creek views, the beautiful trees, the fact that they serve BRUNCH for dinner. We didnt even look anywhere else. Amber was great from start to finish she was checking in with us and clarifying things, working with everything we wanted to do. It was perfect and I wouldnt choose anywhere else if I could do it again.

Perfect November Wedding
Valley Green was the most perfect wedding venue we could’ve asked for. I asked my husband if we could do it again sometime and we enjoyed it so much he almost said yes! But really, the venue is rustic and charming. It has natural and grounded beauty from the Wissahickon while being within city limits, making it easy for all guests to get to (and has free onsite parking!). The entire team is helpful and accommodating with Amber being the most perfect angel. With 100 guests, full hors d’oeuvres, dinner, AND open bar, it was more than fair pricing for great food and drink. Valley Green made everything so easy. Most things were already included in their packages and Amber could help us with any and all questions along the way. I don’t think you can get a better deal in this area for such a special day. All of our guests said it was beautiful and they had a blast. Our day would’ve been special no matter what but having it at Valley Green Inn made it all the more wonderful. Thanks again to the whole team!

Charming location in Philadelphia
We had an absolutely wonderful experience with Valley Green Inn, and a huge part of that was thanks to Amber. From the very beginning, she was attentive, responsive, and incredibly organized. On the day of our wedding, the weather threw us a curveball, but Amber handled it with grace and precision. She kept everything on track, made quick adjustments, and ensured our guests were comfortable—without ever making it feel like a compromise. We gave Amber a game plan, and she executed it flawlessly. Her ability to adapt at the last moment was truly impressive. Whether it was coordinating with vendors, adjusting the timeline, or managing the flow of the event, she was always one step ahead. Her calm demeanor and clear communication made us feel completely supported throughout the day. Valley Green Inn itself is a beautiful, intimate venue with a rustic charm that perfectly complemented our celebration. But it was Amber’s coordination that made the experience seamless and stress-free.
