Valley Green Inn had everything my partner and I hoped for in our wedding venue. Amber and her team helped our wedding day run seamlessly from start to finish. Amber is truly a joy to work with and made sure we had everything we needed for our beautiful wedding day. Planning a wedding is a lot of work, but Amber was great at keeping things on track and making us feel taken care of while also directing our energy towards excitement and helping us realize our vision. The whole staff at Valley Green is the best and you can't beat the natural beauty of the Wissahickon as a backdrop. Our guests were raving about the food all night too--every dish was delicious! Everything was perfect and we are so excited we live nearby to celebrate all our special occasions at Valley Green. Thank you Amber and VGI team!

The perfect day
We knew before even touring that we wanted to get married at VGI. We love the wissahickon creek views, the beautiful trees, the fact that they serve BRUNCH for dinner. We didnt even look anywhere else. Amber was great from start to finish she was checking in with us and clarifying things, working with everything we wanted to do. It was perfect and I wouldnt choose anywhere else if I could do it again.

Perfect November Wedding
Valley Green was the most perfect wedding venue we could’ve asked for. I asked my husband if we could do it again sometime and we enjoyed it so much he almost said yes! But really, the venue is rustic and charming. It has natural and grounded beauty from the Wissahickon while being within city limits, making it easy for all guests to get to (and has free onsite parking!). The entire team is helpful and accommodating with Amber being the most perfect angel. With 100 guests, full hors d’oeuvres, dinner, AND open bar, it was more than fair pricing for great food and drink. Valley Green made everything so easy. Most things were already included in their packages and Amber could help us with any and all questions along the way. I don’t think you can get a better deal in this area for such a special day. All of our guests said it was beautiful and they had a blast. Our day would’ve been special no matter what but having it at Valley Green Inn made it all the more wonderful. Thanks again to the whole team!

We had an absolutely wonderful experience with Valley Green Inn, and a huge part of that was thanks to Amber. From the very beginning, she was attentive, responsive, and incredibly organized. On the day of our wedding, the weather threw us a curveball, but Amber handled it with grace and precision. She kept everything on track, made quick adjustments, and ensured our guests were comfortable—without ever making it feel like a compromise. We gave Amber a game plan, and she executed it flawlessly. Her ability to adapt at the last moment was truly impressive. Whether it was coordinating with vendors, adjusting the timeline, or managing the flow of the event, she was always one step ahead. Her calm demeanor and clear communication made us feel completely supported throughout the day. Best Day of Our Lives!
The Wissahickon holds a special place in our heart so Valley Green Inn was the perfect choice for us. In the end, we could not have been happier with our decision! First, the location is sooooo beautiful that you really need minimal decoration...the space and place does the heavy lifting. We also loved working with the VG wedding coordinator, Amber. She is a pro...totally on top of things but also fun and relaxed. On the day of our event, she really shone--helping get the space ready and making sure everything was on track. The food? I probably would not have found the time to eat the exquisite food if Amber hadn't put plates in front of us; thankfully she did b/c it was delicious! We wanted to have a separate dance area so guests didn't feel on display and VG was able to do that perfectly. There was really something for everyone...a fire pit, a dance floor, intimate spaces too. As our guests kept telling us, 10 out of 10!

Welcome Party on July 4, 2025
We held our Welcome Party at the Valley Green Inn on July 4, 2025. Valley Green Inn is a special place for us, and we are so thrilled we got to share its magic with our guests. It’s the most beautiful setting, and Amber (planner from Valley Green) was so accommodating and open to being creative to make our budget work. We did station appetizers with a dinner buffet that was all delicious, and we also had a bonfire with s’mores and cookies for dessert. Valley Green Inn was perfect for our Welcome Party, but you could also throw a beautiful wedding there, and it is more affordable than most other venues we spoke with. Every single one of our guests that attended our Welcome Party was blown away by the setting.

Best venue ever, best event team
We had the most incredible experience working with Valley Green Inn. Amber is so on top of her game and her whole team is absolutely lovely. I don’t know when that woman sleeps. From the day we signed our contract to our wedding 17 months later we were treated with more warmth and kindness than I could’ve imagined, every phone call and email was completely professional and frankly just fun. I’d love to think we were extra special but I’ve heard the same from other Valley Green couples. The vibe was perfect, they made every accommodation we asked for, we had total faith in the weather backup plans, the staff has that place running like clockwork, and after the fact I’ve heard of very very few and very minor errors with food service. Negligible and bound to happen with an event as large as ours (165pp). I wish we could get married there 15 times, but thankfully it’s a restaurant so we can go back and visit. Which we will, because the food is SO GOOD. Really, so so good. We ate there 4 times before our wedding because we enjoyed it so much, and because the park was so beautiful. We came all the way from NYC to get married here and would do it again in a heartbeat.
The value was unmatched compared to every other quote we got, and we toured venues in Philly, NJ, DC, and CT while deciding where to hold our wedding.

A Dream Come True Wedding
We are still on cloud nine thinking about our wedding at Valley Green Inn—it was everything we dreamed of and more. The outdoor setting was absolutely stunning—picturesque and the perfect backdrop for our ceremony and reception. So many of our guests commented on how beautiful the venue was, and we couldn’t agree more.
The food was also incredible -- which is rare for a wedding! Every dish was delicious. It’s rare to find a wedding where guests are still talking about the meal weeks later—but ours certainly are!
