We highly, highly recommend this venue, especially for a small wedding or elopement! Our elopement dinner (30 people) on a Friday was beautiful and, for the overall price, you can't beat it. Plus, you can return for anniversaries!
​The experience was seamless; it was very easy to coordinate everything, and all the staff are very helpful—Jeff is great!
​The food was Excellent (we did a buffet and hors d'oeuvres). The quality was fantastic; it's even fantastic reheated! There were even leftovers we ate during our staycation honeymoon, which saved us a ton of money. The bedrooms were also nice, and the bed was very comfortable.
​The only downside is that you need to set up and tear down yourself. However, I had tons of help and was able to start setting up the night before, so it worked out great. Also note that there aren't dedicated bridal and groom rooms, but we just reserved a room the night before, and it worked out great.
​A couple of final tips for future guests: be aware the women's bathroom is a bit small if you have a wedding dress on. And definitely discuss parking in advance; maybe add extra directions and ask Jeff for the map of where parking is available.

We could not be happier with our experience at the Lititz Springs Inn. It is affordable, has amazing food, and an awesome team. Jeff and his staff made our wedding weekend stress free and fun. Highly recommend!

Everything was absolutely phenomenal! I would recommend Lititz Springs Inn to anyone looking for a reception venue, or for any other large gathering. They are incredibly affordable and the level of service and attention to detail is top notch. Jeff made the entire process fun and enjoyable - we always looked forward to our meetings. He answered any questions we had and handled any changes so well. The staff here is fantastic and will truly make your wedding the best day ever. For weeks afterwards, people told us how fun it was, how delicious the food was, and how helpful the entire staff was. Being able to stay upstairs after the wedding was also wonderful. There isn't anything I'd change about it!

We had the best wedding day and a large part of that is thanks to Jeff and his incredible team! Everything about the Inn was perfect for our day. Jeff's availability to answer our questions throughout the planning process made it manageable, especially in a year where planning with the pandemic had challenges. We had about 90 guests and every one of their needs were met on our wedding day. We also especially appreciated Jeff's attention to our needs on the day off. His level of service was five stars from start to finish. The Inn's staff were also incredibly helpful and provided the same level of five-star service. They are hardworking and also very sweet! We love the Inn & can't wait to come back and celebrate our anniversary someday. A few more details on our event:

If you are considering having your wedding at the Sutter Inn... DO IT! We just had our wedding there this weekend and it was flawless, and are so thankful to Jeff and his team. We have been planning a large wedding for November 2020 but unfortunately due to COVID our 3 years of planning went down the drain when our venue canceled on us. My husband and I finally decided at the last minute that we didn't want to wait and maybe we could have a small gathering with close family and friends. So we searched for venues in our area and came across the Sutter Inn and I am beyond grateful we did!! I explained to the coordinator Jeff our circumstances and he was so happy to help us out. He even allowed us to schedule our wedding on our actual anniversary date. So we planned our wedding within two weeks, and the entire time communication was great with Jeff and his team. I was also very concerned with making sure we would be able follow COVID guidelines and have a safe wedding and Jeff and the team made that all possible with social distancing the tables and chairs and creating a reception plan that made it easier to follow guidelines. The day of the wedding Jeff was there the entire time checking on us, seeing if we needed anything, and helped us out in spots we forgot about. THE FOOD WAS AMAZING!! And my family and friends could not stop raving about it. The venue was so beautiful and the pictures came out beautiful!! Jeff and his team went above and beyond for us and I highly highly recommend using the Sutter for your wedding!

The service was amazing! Jeff and his team went above and beyond to help accommodate our wedding during these challenging times. He helped us change plans when we needed to without asking for anything in return and made sure every detail was perfect during our wedding day. You’d be crazy to not at least consider this venue! The value is amazing, the staff is wonderful, Jeff is extremely helpful and keeps the schedule rolling the day of the wedding so you can focus more on all your responsibilities while he gives reminders and is the glue that keeps everything together. The venue is gorgeous, the bartenders were great, the food was phenomenal, and the vendor recommendations were on point. The General Sutter Inn is extremely clean and well maintained in the beautiful town of Lititz which everyone including out of state relatives said was the perfect small town for a wedding. I cannot think of one negative thing to say about our experience. THANK YOU JEFF!

We absolutely loved having our reception at the Sutter. The space is beautiful, especially when it is decorated for Christmas like it was for our wedding last month. Jeff, the event coordinator there, is an absolute pleasure to work with and was more than willing to accommodate our many random requests! He doesn't treat you like a dollar sign like some venues do, and all of our interactions with the Sutter felt warm and welcoming. Jeff really made the day a wonderful experience and was very attentive to us and our needs the day of. I would not hesitate to recommend the Sutter to ANYONE, regardless of the event type, but especially for couples looking for a ceremony or reception venue! Thank you Jeff and the Sutter staff for treating us so well and being such a major part of our big day!

We had our wedding reception at the General Sutter Inn and had the most amazing time. Jeff made sure our special day went absolutely perfect and we had nothing to worry about. He took care of everything for us and was very accommodating for any request we had. Jeff went above and beyond to make sure our day was perfect! The food and service was awesome there! Jeff and all the staff at the General Sutter made our wedding and reception perfect. They all went above and beyond In so many ways from the food tasting, helping family members with reservations, making our rehearsal and rehearsal dinner wonderful, to making our wedding and reception so wonderful I can’t begin to list everything. Jeff was available anytime we needed to ask questions, he offered suggestions and on our wedding day he was constantly making sure everything was wonderful for us. The atmosphere at the General Sutter is so unique and timeless. It is such a neat place to have a wedding and reception. The ballroom with the large windows with the stained glass at the top is so beautiful it made a perfect background. We can’t say enough good things about Jeff , the other staff and the General Sutter.

We feel so lucky that we found the General Sutter Inn for our wedding venue! As soon as we arrived and met with Jeff we knew it was the one. It has such a special charm to it and you can’t beat the price for everything you get! Our original plan was to have the ceremony down the street outside and the reception indoors at the Sutter, but Mother Nature had her own plans and Jeff was so accommodating in helping us have the ceremony there also with no extra charge! Every step of the way Jeff was asking what he could help us with. We arrived early Friday and set up the space for our ceremony and after the ceremony Saturday evening the General Sutter Inn staff turned the room around quickly for the reception. We also took full advantage of the 17 rooms that the Sutter has on the second and third floors. Our families and friends booked all of the rooms. We got the suite on the third floor in the Rock Block where there are 6 rooms total! Our bridal party also booked on the third floor and we had the whole floor to ourselves for getting ready and the after party! It includes a hang out room with couch and tv, a private deck, a kitchen, and laundry room! It is amazing! Please check this place out :)
