We could not be happier with our experience at the Lititz Springs Inn. It is affordable, has amazing food, and an awesome team. Jeff and his staff made our wedding weekend stress free and fun. Highly recommend!

Everything was absolutely phenomenal! I would recommend Lititz Springs Inn to anyone looking for a reception venue, or for any other large gathering. They are incredibly affordable and the level of service and attention to detail is top notch. Jeff made the entire process fun and enjoyable - we always looked forward to our meetings. He answered any questions we had and handled any changes so well. The staff here is fantastic and will truly make your wedding the best day ever. For weeks afterwards, people told us how fun it was, how delicious the food was, and how helpful the entire staff was. Being able to stay upstairs after the wedding was also wonderful. There isn't anything I'd change about it!

We had the best wedding day and a large part of that is thanks to Jeff and his incredible team! Everything about the Inn was perfect for our day. Jeff's availability to answer our questions throughout the planning process made it manageable, especially in a year where planning with the pandemic had challenges. We had about 90 guests and every one of their needs were met on our wedding day. We also especially appreciated Jeff's attention to our needs on the day off. His level of service was five stars from start to finish. The Inn's staff were also incredibly helpful and provided the same level of five-star service. They are hardworking and also very sweet! We love the Inn & can't wait to come back and celebrate our anniversary someday. A few more details on our event:

If you are considering having your wedding at the Sutter Inn... DO IT! We just had our wedding there this weekend and it was flawless, and are so thankful to Jeff and his team. We have been planning a large wedding for November 2020 but unfortunately due to COVID our 3 years of planning went down the drain when our venue canceled on us. My husband and I finally decided at the last minute that we didn't want to wait and maybe we could have a small gathering with close family and friends. So we searched for venues in our area and came across the Sutter Inn and I am beyond grateful we did!! I explained to the coordinator Jeff our circumstances and he was so happy to help us out. He even allowed us to schedule our wedding on our actual anniversary date. So we planned our wedding within two weeks, and the entire time communication was great with Jeff and his team. I was also very concerned with making sure we would be able follow COVID guidelines and have a safe wedding and Jeff and the team made that all possible with social distancing the tables and chairs and creating a reception plan that made it easier to follow guidelines. The day of the wedding Jeff was there the entire time checking on us, seeing if we needed anything, and helped us out in spots we forgot about. THE FOOD WAS AMAZING!! And my family and friends could not stop raving about it. The venue was so beautiful and the pictures came out beautiful!! Jeff and his team went above and beyond for us and I highly highly recommend using the Sutter for your wedding!

Jeff and all the staff at the General Sutter made our wedding and reception perfect. They all went above and beyond In so many ways from the food tasting, helping family members with reservations, making our rehearsal and rehearsal dinner wonderful, to making our wedding and reception so wonderful I can’t begin to list everything. Jeff was available anytime we needed to ask questions, he offered suggestions and on our wedding day he was constantly making sure everything was wonderful for us. The atmosphere at the General Sutter is so unique and timeless. It is such a neat place to have a wedding and reception. The ballroom with the large windows with the stained glass at the top is so beautiful it made a perfect background. We can’t say enough good things about Jeff , the other staff and the General Sutter.

The service was amazing! Jeff and his team went above and beyond to help accommodate our wedding during these challenging times. He helped us change plans when we needed to without asking for anything in return and made sure every detail was perfect during our wedding day. You’d be crazy to not at least consider this venue! The value is amazing, the staff is wonderful, Jeff is extremely helpful and keeps the schedule rolling the day of the wedding so you can focus more on all your responsibilities while he gives reminders and is the glue that keeps everything together. The venue is gorgeous, the bartenders were great, the food was phenomenal, and the vendor recommendations were on point. The General Sutter Inn is extremely clean and well maintained in the beautiful town of Lititz which everyone including out of state relatives said was the perfect small town for a wedding. I cannot think of one negative thing to say about our experience. THANK YOU JEFF!

We absolutely loved having our reception at the Sutter. The space is beautiful, especially when it is decorated for Christmas like it was for our wedding last month. Jeff, the event coordinator there, is an absolute pleasure to work with and was more than willing to accommodate our many random requests! He doesn't treat you like a dollar sign like some venues do, and all of our interactions with the Sutter felt warm and welcoming. Jeff really made the day a wonderful experience and was very attentive to us and our needs the day of. I would not hesitate to recommend the Sutter to ANYONE, regardless of the event type, but especially for couples looking for a ceremony or reception venue! Thank you Jeff and the Sutter staff for treating us so well and being such a major part of our big day!

We had our wedding reception at the General Sutter Inn and had the most amazing time. Jeff made sure our special day went absolutely perfect and we had nothing to worry about. He took care of everything for us and was very accommodating for any request we had. Jeff went above and beyond to make sure our day was perfect! The food and service was awesome there! We would highly recommend this place for your special event!

We feel so lucky that we found the General Sutter Inn for our wedding venue! As soon as we arrived and met with Jeff we knew it was the one. It has such a special charm to it and you can’t beat the price for everything you get! Our original plan was to have the ceremony down the street outside and the reception indoors at the Sutter, but Mother Nature had her own plans and Jeff was so accommodating in helping us have the ceremony there also with no extra charge! Every step of the way Jeff was asking what he could help us with. We arrived early Friday and set up the space for our ceremony and after the ceremony Saturday evening the General Sutter Inn staff turned the room around quickly for the reception. We also took full advantage of the 17 rooms that the Sutter has on the second and third floors. Our families and friends booked all of the rooms. We got the suite on the third floor in the Rock Block where there are 6 rooms total! Our bridal party also booked on the third floor and we had the whole floor to ourselves for getting ready and the after party! It includes a hang out room with couch and tv, a private deck, a kitchen, and laundry room! It is amazing! Please check this place out :)

For a venue that has over 52 weddings booked in 40 weeks they sure did treat me as if I was their only bride and main priority! Right off the bat Jeff worked with our budget and short notice booking when our original venue choice was going back on their word and trying to charge us more. I think every bride can relate that as soon as you mention the word "wedding" the prices sky rocket. I had reached out to Jeff Via email about possibly booking with them because I was not happy with our original choice. Jeff had told me that unfortunately they were all booked up that weekend. I had asked to come in and meet with him anyway and he agreed to do so. Once we could talk in person he felt for our situation with the other venue and figured out a way to get us in if we were willing to start just a few hours earlier. This made my day! The quote he gave us was a quarter of what the other venue was trying to charge us and we were getting more for our money with him. It was very special to us to find a venue in Lititz because this is our hometown and we love it here! Jeff was prompt in responding to any questions that I had in the weeks leading up to the wedding. I was also staying the night before the wedding with my bridesmaids to get ready there and he let me come in and look at all their newly remolded rooms to pick out my favorites. On the night before the wedding we decided it would be a smart idea to steam, iron, and use a blow dryer all on one outlet and so we blew the circuit. Christian and Jeff were up there in minutes to check on us and even gave us a complimentary room to move to. Then in the morning it was so chaotic in and out of three rooms girls getting their hair and makeup done and so we were running a little late for the ceremony so Jeff just had us throw all of our stuff in one room and they cleaned up everything for us. Pack our belongings and had then waiting for us in a safe place. So I mean it when I say five stars all around! -Raisa

This venue is a hidden gem! I was looking for a smaller, intimate space and the Sutter was perfect for my 40 guests. Jeff Merk is a joy to work with, open-minded and laid back with any request. The Sutter staff were accommodating and friendly. The food was said to be "the best wedding food I have ever tasted"! It was delicious. Thank you General Sutter Inn for giving us the day we dreamed of!

My husband and I LOVED our reception at the Sutter. The Bulls Head is one of our favorite spots in Lititz so we loved the fact that we could have our wedding reception here. The ballroom itself is beautiful and will match any type of decor you want to add. It is on the smaller side so you are limited with the number of people that fit in the room. We had 120 people and it was perfect! Jeff did an outstanding job working with us to plan, coordinate, and make sure that it went without a hitch. If there was an issue I never found out about it! :). The food is great, servers/staff amazing, and price was just right for our budget!

It's a bonus that they set up your tables for you (decor and all) and will tear it all down and put it in a designated area for you to grab the next day to take home.

The 3rd floor of the Sutter was perfect for the bridal party to get ready and for a mini after party following the reception.

Bottom line: if you have around 120-130 guests (or less), want a stress-free reception, a dance floor for a good time, and want an affordable wedding... you're a fool not to book the Sutter!

I absolutely love this place. Not only are they a beautiful inn, but they are also connected to one of the best bars in PA. We held our wedding ceremony and reception in their ballroom. The rooms are gorgeous. We had a 60 guest wedding, but they can easily accommodate for more. The outside patio is lovely and we were able to do some pictures out there. Even in March! Jeff, the event planner, was so helpful during the whole process. On the day of the wedding, he was running around helping with everything. Our cake arrived late and he was on the phone with the company to see when they would arrive. He helped with the set up of the entire room. He kept an eye on every detail. It was amazing. My husband and I are so happy with our experience at this place. I will highly recommend them for a wedding or event. Oh and the food was incredible and affordable!!

Oh my goodness, I cannot say enough great things about The General Sutter Inn! We had our wedding reception there 2 weeks ago, and it went perfectly. Jeff Merck and the staff did a spectacular job with everything. The food was absolutely delicious, and many of our guests commented on how much they loved all the food. With the gorgeous ballroom, attentive and polite staff, delicious food, great location, and wonderful planner (Jeff), we could not have asked for a better place to have our wedding reception. And the guest rooms are wonderful, clean, and comfortable! The General Sutter Inn made our day the best ever!

The General Sutter Inn is such a historic beauty inside and out! The ballrooms are both gorgeous and the 3rd floor rock suites are unique and stunning! All of that considered, we truly booked our reception at this venue because of the exceptional professionalism and service! From the very beginning at our first meeting, before we even put down a deposit, Jeff Merk was AMAZING! He showed us our seemingly limitless options at the Sutter. Afterwards, Jeff chauffeured my fiancé and I around the quaint streets of Lititz to show us other ceremony options! Throughout the process, Jeff was truly a lifesaver! He always had a solution and never seemed to get annoyed or frustrated with the numerous stress filled emails and phone calls. The food was absolutely amazing and they have options for all types of budgets! The evening before the wedding, Jeff was so very helpful. Helping to prepare and finalize details for the big day. He helped to make the rehearsal dinner a success. The night before the wedding, Jeff and his staff were helping to set up all the details for the reception and helping to come up with solutions to the ones I forgot! On our big day, Jeff helped to make sure that things went smoothly and that we were stress free! Our wedding day was absolutely perfect and much of the credit goes to Jeff and his wonderful staff. Gorgeous location, great food and amazing service = complete package!!

My husband and I recently had our wedding reception at the General Sutter Inn, and we could not have been more pleased with our decision to do so! Jeff Merk and his staff did an amazing job. From the planning ahead of time, to working with us on details, to the day itself, everyone was professional, accommodating, and helpful. The wait staff were kind and polite as they moved around to make sure everyone had what they needed. All of our guests raved about the food prepared by the talented kitchen staff, and all of the set-up and clean-up was quickly and beautifully done. Jeff made sure that things were running smoothly during the event, and I was able to relax, knowing that everything would be taken care of. Guests after the reception stayed to enjoy some drinks in the Bulls Head Pub, a great spot for delicious food and drinks in a unique atmosphere. Several of our guests stayed in the newly renovated rooms at the Inn, and they commented on how beautifully done they were. My husband and I also stayed in one of the Rock Lititz rooms, which was very well decorated, impeccably clean, and included comfortable furnishings. I would highly recommend the General Sutter Inn for any event, from a dinner to a large reception. You will not be disappointed with the level of professionalism, charm, and warmth provided by the location and its staff.

My in-laws hosted our rehearsal dinner there. The food was excellent & the setting was beautiful. My in-laws were very pleased with how everything went. I would definitely recommend this place for either your reception or rehearsal dinner.

I cannot believe this is not a top rated wedding venue in Lancaster County/central PA. General Sutter went above and beyond every expectation I had about a reception venue. From start to finish, I can't even express in words how amazing each and every person was! To start off, General Sutter is located in the middle of the "Coolest Small Town in America", already making it one of the most unique locations in the area. My husband and I had been searching for months, none of the venues in the area really had enough character and the people we were interacting with always seemed to care more about how much we were trying to spend than what we really wanted. I found this to be a problem with most wedding vendors I first interacted with, they wanted to know my budget before they even spoke with me. When I found out GS had a ballroom, I immediately scheduled an appointment with Jeff Merk, their event coordinator, and we FELL IN LOVE. Not only is the ballroom absolutely beautiful, but the rest of what General Sutter has to offer makes this the most IDEAL location for a reception. First of all, it is a restaurant, an English Pub, and a bed and breakfast all in one. Our family from out of state barely left, because they didn't need to! The penthouse suites on the 3rd floor are decorated in the "Rock Lititz" theme, as this is where many of the crew members from touring artists and bands will stay. The penthouse is where my bridesmaids and I stayed the night before the wedding (our photographer loved taking pics of us getting ready, there are so many spots for perfect pictures!), and the night of the wedding our entire bridal party rented out the whole penthouse floor! It was so much fun! Jeff literally was my right hand man, from decorating everything to making sure the entire day ran smoothly, he was always there. I am running out of space for this review, but I could go on and on. HAVE YOUR WEDDING HERE, YOU WILL BE SO HAPPY YOU DID!

Jeff and his team at the Sutter was fantastic for our wedding day. The food choices tasted fantastic at the tasting and the actual wedding! Jeff was available by email mostly for planning questions and he was very flexible when meeting with us multiple times. The venue of the Sutter is very unique and has a vintage feeling with a rich history. The wall coverings in both ball rooms and flooring were very clean, beautiful and recently updated. Jeff is very laid back and so friendly. He is so experienced because they do so many events every year. All of my guests were impressed with the Sutter. Some people stayed in the guest rooms and every one thought the accommodations were beautiful and comfortable. We booked two rooms for two nights that weekend and it was so nice to use the rooms to have my hair and make-up vendors get our wedding party ready. If you want an affordable and memorable venue please at least visit with Jeff at the Sutter. Don't hesitate as their dates fill up fast!

We had a small dinner for our guests following our small, intimate ceremony and The General Sutter Inn did a perfect job. They worked with us closely to make our dinner exactly what we were hoping for - the food was delicious and service from the staff was great. They provided everything we needed for the event and were attentive to all requests we made both before and the day of our celebration. The staff even provided a light lunch to myself and my friends as we got ready for the ceremony. I would definitely recommend General Sutter's to anyone for something small like our affair or something much larger (a large ballroom is available as well).
